  2. Right, but you have to click on the comment to read what was said. Otherwise you just know that the ignoree responded. The text is hidden. I think. At any rate, it doesn't really matter -- especially on a Friday.
  3. I'm sorry, what's the outrage? The #1 "news" organization in this country does this on a nightly basis. Speaking of, I recently started going to the gym again for the first time in a decade+. I usually grab a treadmill on the back row, and from there I can see the screens on all of the treadmills in front of me. 8/10 people over 60 are watching Fox News while running/pedaling. This is in LA, fwiw. For people under 50, I'd say maybe 1/20 are watching a news program of any type.
  4. 60 degrees and a nice light breeze at sunup on Sunday. Can't wait!
  5. I agree with Klatt, with a caveat. I think Sark knew how things were going to go. But I don't think he wastes learning opportunities, and I think pulling Ewers gave him a chance to let Ewers reset but to also show Arch (and the fanbase) that Arch wasn't ready for prime time. That Arch isn't some savior. He's literally saying "let me show you why you're not starting. You don't want this smoke week in and week out." I'm sure he has it in the back of his mind that Arch's legs or deep ball might turn the tide, but that was unlikely and would have been a pretty nice problem to have were it true. If you remember the spring game a couple of years ago, Sark did the same thing - he put a freshman Manning in against our ones on defense. The deck was stacked against him and Manning struggled, understandably. But it also showed everyone that Arch wasn't going to come in and take the job from Ewers. With Ewers, Murphy, and Manning on the roster, that room could have fallen apart in 2023, but it didn't. I will admit there were times that I wish Sark would pull Ewers - most notably the Kentucky game. But I'm capable of cooling off and letting it go. I might second guess my betters, but you have to be able to move on when they show you they're right. Much of this is speculation on my part and I will fully admit that i wear burnt orange glasses. But the guy knows how to manage that room. Scottish timepiece or whatever his name is definitely doesn't.
  6. I need a warm body with 1B or 3B eligibility. Would be willing to trade OF or SS.
  7. Every liquor store?
  8. Surlyhorns is on site
  9. Just got my 2nd 1911 from the cmp sales. Colt slide / Colt frame - Very pleased. I'll get some photos later. Nice gun - dates to production at the end of the war.
  10. You could get those same messages every day off TexAgs. I think I've seen literally the exact same "drug free" post in prior years.

    So true, so true.
  12. Back when men were men.
  13. You guys hit homers???
  14. Why do they even need a police force? Everybody knows not to try that in a small town.
  15. What is this Silver Line thing you refer to in your post. I feel like I'm pretty up on ride share app and I've never heard of such a thing. There was a Orange Line ride share in Chicago from downtown to the airport... but that was, ya know, the El.
  16. This is the stage of the game where you can start to look at how each player is being edited and ask the question "does it make sense for the eventual winner to have been edited this way?" I think Joe, Eva, Kyle, and probably Shauhin can all answer yes to that question. The casual viewer would easily be able to understand why any of these folks won. Kamilla and Mitch aren't there yet, but they could potentially move up if they mastermind a big move to take out one of the big dogs. Mary hasn't been a relevant character (other than inadvertently getting David voted out) since Sai left. I think it's a safe bet that she doesn't win. Honestly not sure there's been a season in recent memory where 6 out of the final 7 could all still realistically win the game.

  18. If no metal body work is needed and it's a prime, block, prime, paint, clear, buff job probably close to 20K. Body work, removing trim, assembly, etc. takes it up from there.
  19. It could be that the Pakistan Information Minister might not have had accurate information.
  20. I'm in a small startup and our parts are shooting up in price. I found out for some power supplies we used to be charged $600 for a lot of 30 of them. Now that price has shot up to ... $2000 for the same things. I don't know how our leadership voted, but perfect example of how this is just how sweeping these tariffs are. They impact everyone.
  21. Nice allusion. Counterpoint (but in the pros): Troy Aikman went 1-15 in his first season with the Cowboys. Not that I disagree that Sark might have been loathe to throw Arch out there, I think that's a big part of his decision, whether Arch was ready or not.
