  1. Past hour
  2. Anybody interested in a pair of season tickets in section 104 (upper deck, ~40 yard line, home side, 25th row)? We had opportunity to take another couple's season tickets that are in a different section alongside some of our friends so we won't be using these. Looking at Seatgeek today, buying cheapest pair in same section for each game would total $1580/ea (aggy alone is $684). For Surly, I'll take what I paid for them ($870/ea, $1,740 total). I don't want my account flagged for violation of resale policy so part of the deal is that you're actually going to use them and not flip them every other game for a profit. Thanks
  3. Chip is actually short for “chipmunk”.
  4. I'm sure Sark thought that with our defense, that an experienced quinn. even with the flaws. gave us a better chance to win than switching to an inexperienced Arch in the middle of conference play. He was almost right. We will never know if he was wrong. I also think that if Quinn doesn't come back in 2024 and its Arch's team from spring practice on we would have been better off. Its not always cut and dry.
  5. If Mateer is a good QB, he should be suspended. If QB2 is better, this should blow over.
  6. No. If you watch the media availability where he said that, he was referring to going to the portal right now. "I'd be better off going to the co-op." He wasn't referring to the portal in general. He could very well believe that. Maybe him and Kyle Flood simply don't think there's a good payoff for a quality OL in the portal. But that's not what he said. Or at least, not the complete context for it. I will say this. The biggest issue as much as anything else since Mackovic was fired, is that the head coaches simply don't bring in enough bodies at OL. Certainly not enough quality bodies. The quality part almost goes without saying. But also not enough bodies period. OL is the hardest position group IMO to give a projected evaluation. Sarkisian and Flood reversed that quickly when they got here, but now we're moving towards the same dynamic. We're simply not bringing in enough OL in our recruiting classes. I thought we were going to have a group of 5 or 6 in this class, and maybe we still will. But our tackle group in particular is very thin. I'm not exactly a lone wolf on this. I see plenty of other posters making comments on it, so I'm not out here saying I'm seeing something other people aren't. I'm simply saying I agree with posters who look at our roster and depth chart and think there's something amiss with our talent acquisition strategy in terms of sheer numbers.
  7. Just make sure the safety course is worth it vs. just ticking a box. I never took one, but my buddy who was ex-military took one and felt like it was a complete waste of time.
  8. White on white (or other) crime doesn't count, sir!
  9. My wife and I are trying to figure out if our family is going to be (1) or (2). We both have deep family history in Texas, and love what this state could be but hate what it chooses to be. It's only gotten worse in this state for my entire life: education, roads, public services, on and on its all worse due to neglect. It's frustrating to be in this position of just wanting to be able to focus on being the best dad I can be for my daughter and best husband for my wife, while watching their rights be actively stripmined. I don't know what I can do to fix this - voting hasn't done shit, nor has engaging with my elected representatives. What would our Dear Leader immamac suggest instead? Upping my burnt ends donation and drinking till I forget about it all?
  10. Uhhhh yeah they're considered a trophy fish, so...
  11. absolutely the best case scenario and I hope that's the news we get today
  12. lulz - they're not even trying that hard to cover up the dementia
  13. I've defended you plenty across various topics on this board. I sure as hell can produce receipts for that too. And I agree with you - there are absolutely some posters here who go after you no matter what. Fuck those posters and you were right here. However... What Sydney said (at least the parts I kept from his OP).
  14. So drawing hasn't happened yet? I didn't get any email.
  15. I remember being on vacation that summer with my parents and us checking the news each day for HR updates.
  16. if you're truly that novice then it's best to take a safety course. i think it should be required every few years, but that would require regulations. anywho, big difference between learning to shoot a particular weapon versus learning how to shoot in the first place
  17. Right in that end zone
  18. Anybody else going balls deep on the BLSH IPO on Robinhood?
  19. I like it in my oatmeal for extra protein. I’ll also eat it with fruit for a protein boost as well. It is a nice change of pace.
  20. Whatever I get, I will have to locker it away from the house for awhile. It might be nonideal for home protection but our grandson lives with us and my wife would shit a brick if a gun was on site. I'm not actually worried about home protection, anyway. I just want to know how to shoot. (I don't think my Crosman CO2 BB gun as a teenager really prepared me.)
  21. *deceptive 🤬 This. All the practices are closed because we suck.
