I assume straight up means less tooling or tucking the ball in between the block and the net.

those shitbag criminal bikers, the mongols, are holding their national "convention" in PS of all places. They are at the Hotel Zosa. There's already been a couple dozen arrests, and I'm sure an infinite number of tourists have had their vacations ruined. Palm fucking Springs.

Clearly ABC news has made a mistake here and used a photo of the people in front of Enchiladas Y Mas on a Saturday Afternoon

Has it been confirmed that Sark "changed his approach" to a more NFL-style offseason program? If so, that's a bold and misguided strategy. B2B semi-finals should've proven to him that his other approach worked current system was working. It had us knocking on the door of a CFB Championship. It certainly wasn't broken. -

Former football star Mark Sanchez was released from the hospital and sent straight to jail after he allegedly assaulted an elderly man who then stabbed him during a drunken Indianapolis brawl, according to reports. Sanchez, 38, was discharged from the hospital Sunday morning after being treated for stab wounds to the chest he sustained Friday night, TMZ reported. But the former Jets Quarterback wasn’t sent on his merry way. Instead, Sanchez was brought to central booking at the Marion County Jail, as he’d already been arrested and charged with public intoxication and battery while he was in the hospital.

I guess when I say no one, I mean the people participating in the discussion. Touche on that though.

I think you both (Js1 and SL) have a good points. Personally, I would like to see a better block from the team. I think it's a momentum changer and energizes a team. As far as going for straight up blocks, for more block touches and to take away hitting angles, I'm not really seeing that working, especially against the better teams they have played so far. Maybe the stats say differently. The middles still look a little slow to close the block to me, but Harvey looks quicker and will improve with experience, as will Ames. The strong backrow play this season certainly mitigates some of the blocking deficiencies, but why not both! It's interesting that Stafford's blocking numbers are so poor, but agree it's a good trade off since her backrow play is so strong. Bottom line, imo, aggressively press the block. Louisville was pressing the block so hard against us that they were literally almost jousting our hitters on tight sets.

I think WWR is way undervalued given the policy tailwinds at its back.

@Brisketexan (I think) and I discussed this before. We both believe that the entire parcel is under a bunch of ground leases. I know for a fact that the Greenwood is or was on a leasehold condominium at one point, which means either the developer has to buy out the individual owners or wait until the ground lease terms out.
