  1. Um, not sure if you're familiar with my story or not from the last site... Aggy cousin died. His aggy sisters had an aggy-themed funeral complete with the aggy was hymn at the end. When the song ended one sister yelled across the room at me, "That's for you!" My only thought was that this aggy really did run out of time

  2. Usually it’s when some little bitch with a low post count tattles about thread integrity, despite never contributing any content to the thread at all. That’s when blacklab shows up and hands out red cards. I’m sorry for the “beating” you’ve had to endure and the big bleeding axe wound between your legs.

  3. He's planting that seed. And he's been doing it for a while. Because, evidently, if you say crazy shit over and over and over, at some point it stops being crazy to about 42% of the population. I think "normalization" is the word. So when the time comes, Trump saying he won't leave office won't seem crazy to the 42%, and they'll even defend it. That's why.

  4. I have always, my entire life, greeted people with a "howdy." Not an in-your-face "howdy" like aggy does, but "howdy" all the same. It is NOT an aggy thing, it is an old school Texas thing. In the 1970s in Llano, San Angelo, Marfa, Harlingen, and a half dozen other places where my family was scattered about, I'd visit relatives with zero connection to the li'l farming school in the armpit of Texas, and they'd all say "howdy" as a greeting. I get the feeling the term went out of favor, actually, as soon as the media presence for aggy increased enough that people started associating it with Texas A&M. They are so obnoxious that they ruin everything they touch, including a good old fashioned Texas greeting.

  6. This represents why I think we white men should be forced to take a ten year time out from running things. Hur hur, it's just a joke. Don't be so serious. First, a high level of wit can justify just about any statement. I've said some truly horrifying things in my life, but I always knew my audience as people who knew me and what I actually stand for. I know better than to broadcast absurdity to the irony deaf. Of course, this little chart doesn't set a very high mark for wit. It could appear in an email or a silly conversation and get a laugh. But there's always the guy who thinks, "You know, there's a lot of truth to this!" And that idiot tries to apply a light, sexist joke to a real person. You're cynically framing AOC as hot and crazy. She's not to be taken seriously, but, yea, would. Calling you out on it gives you the slick rally point of hey, it's a joke, man! It's just guy stuff. You a humorless fag or something? I'm not humorless. The chart used in this context is in the same category of using the N word. Slap on a demeaning label and dismiss out of hand. The angry white man's prerogative. Well, that sucks and it's fucking things up. It keeps you (specifically you) from any meaningful discourse. You have your mind made up. You thought about it once and once was enough. It's all simple really once you fix a facile world view where you look down on everything. I have no respect for that.

  8. Both Julia Styles and Kirsten Dunst, as boring and flat-faced as Styles is and snaggletoothed and probably dirty as Dunst is, are hot enough and famous enough that any person on this sad board would be bragging about either hookup as a peak life moment for the rest of their lives. You fucking Casanovas acting otherwise are thread-constipating clowns.

  9. You chucklefucks will ruin anything. Let's enjoy Sam and his (hopefully) continued growth while we have him, and we can debate his legacy after his career at Texas is done.

  10. What the fuck is going on in here? Yes, it's the squalid CR but can't we agree on the following principles? Human trafficking and sex slavery are bad. People who do those things are bad. Epstein is known to have done those things. Powerful people likely knew what was going on. Powerful people seem to have been protecting and enabling him. People who protected and enabled Epstein are bad. Let's hope bad things happen to Epstein and those who protected and enabled him. Can we also agree on the following facts? Bill Clinton is known to have taken a few flights on Epstein's plane. Bill Clinton is a known philanderer but (to my knowledge) has never been accused of rape by a teenager. Alex Acosta gave Epstein an unusual sweetheart deal. Trump and Epstein at one time appear to have been good friends and partied together. Trump also had a model agency and imported teenage girls to the US. Many of those models have accused Trump's agency of mistreating them. Trump has also been accused of rape by teenage girls and at least one of those accusations included Epstein's involvement. I don't think any of the above statements can be credibly refuted at this point.

  15. no. no, absolutely not. lincoln was dealing with a country tearing itself apart. i mean, that actually happened. half the country fucking left, and that left washington dc at their mercy. it was an incredible time, and while his decision was (rightfully) controversial, and i'm not sure i want to hash out whether or not i actually support it (i don't), but we cannot compare a census question court decision and injunction with the country dissolving and major disruptions and riots along transport and communications lines. same with FDR. those were times of war! no, i realize trump is engaged in a culture war for the existential identity of america as white america (hint: it never really was white america, but whatever), to please his base... but none of that is actually comparable to extraordinary decisions made during two of the biggest wars in our domestic history as well as global history. not even remotely close, despite how much of a legal cataract you want to use to view the situations.

  21. yeah, among millennial fans, the same people who think that Floyd Mayweather is the greatest boxer ever, or that LeBron James is better/greater than Jordan, or that Larry Bird wasn't athletic enough to star in today's league, or that LJH > Roy Williams. Vince Young is the greatest college football player ever, and any Texas fan who puts Sam ahead of him is an ignorant, juul smoking moron.

  25. there should be a toggle so that whenever someone posts some actual fucking recruiting news, they can switch on that toggle for that post. then there should be a setting to view this thread by only seeing posts with that toggle switched on. this will save people from wading through pages and pages of utter fucking nonsense to read news on what this fucking thread is about. and anyone posting a response with the recruiting toggle switched on and isn't recruiting news should be banned for life. yall can now go back to posting fucking nonsense.

  31. What Texafornia said. Small Towns in Texas are where people like Briles can thrive. The people there are afraid to speak out because they are concerned it will hurt their businesses and they will be shunned, that's quoted in the article and it is also common sense. They basically laid out that the town family, the Ramseys, are all Baylor people. Why the fuck would I give my money to a corrupt or damaged community that is willfully selling their soul? What's the quote, all it takes for evil to take root is for good people to do nothing? As was said, there are a lot of small towns in Texas that aren't stained. I'll take it a step further, if I lived in that community and this happened, we'd be fucking moving. I'm not sending my son to go to school at a place where Briles roams the halls, nor am I raising him in a place that fosters that kind of environment against women. It's not worth the risk that he'd pick up something shitty just by osmosis and observation. As for Houston, yeah, bad things happen here. Mayor Turner is corrupt as fuck. But if the leaders were going out of their way to hire convicted rapists or rape enablers to positions of power, yeah, I'd probably reconsider a lot of things. Bad things happening somewhere isn't the same thing as inviting evil directly into your living room.

Like anyone on Herman's staff is going to talk to that worm after the Orlando story and give them their WR rankings in the state.

That's was keeps bringing in the money right? Can't win elections without money, but if all you do with the power is continue to chase donations, what's the fucking point?
