  3. Today is the day, the clues are all there. Follow this logic. What day is it today? Tuesday. More specifically Taco Tuesday. Where did Graham play? Texas Tech and what are the fans notorious for throwing? Tortillas! Graham Harrell is from Brownwood Tom Herman is secretly into ATM hence Brownwood. Tom Herman the Second was obviously not a Trojan fan which by pulling out gave us The Third. Graham is going to pull out of Southern California and give birth to a National Championship at Texas. Graham wore number 6 at 2 stops, 6 plus 6 equals 12, this is December the 12th month of the year. My god I could go on all day the clues are so obvious. Today is the day.

  4. The whole "show us the whistleblower" is one of the most stupid and dishonest aspects of this whole inquiry. It's also such a laughable example of witness tampering and intimidation related to an administration that uses obstruction of justice as SOP. I work for a Fortune 500 company. No better or worse than any other company, but if a person comes to us and makes a complaint of fraud, or harassment or anything and wants to remain anonymous, they stay anonymous. The case is investigated, and witnesses are questioned. The underlying relevance of the whistleblower vanishes once other facts and witnesses are discovered. If it is a critical matter and the whistleblower is the only person who can or will support some underlying fact, then there may be a point where the case needs to be "dropped" or the company needs to go all in one what the whistle blower is claiming. (I.e., make a crediblity determination regarding an allegation of sex harassment). Nobody gets to harass the whistle blower, because it is understood that if the case isn't supportable, it's likely not going to pass the smell test. But more likely, in a case of multiple witnesses, the whistle blower is just listed as another witness, primarily so as not to dissuade whistle blowers in the future. Sure, once a whistleblower is called as a fact witness post investigation, I think it is fair to find out if they were the whistle blower and what they reported -- that could relate to credibility and be food for cross examination. But at the investigation phase? Which is all to say that IMO, the impeachable offense is obstruction of justice, and always has been.

  6. Negged for lying. Trump never mentions Ukrainian corruption in the call. Withholding aid is not uncommon for policy reasons. No credible policy reason exists for halting this aid which was designated to help Ukraine fight off invading Russians. "One or 2 people" having presumptions is also inaccurate. High level public officials concluded that the investigation into Biden was the only thing Trump could have been holding out for. There was no other policy reason to halt aid that had been voted on by Congress. Lastly, the peddled notion that an informed Trump was worried about corruption in the new Ukraine administration is absurd on a number of levels. Any person of even cursory knowledge of Ukraine would know that a corrupt government had been voted out of office by a candidate running specifically on ending corruption. The aid had been approved when the actually corrupt leader was in power. Things were clearly no worse corruption-wise. Trump never personally raised Ukraine corruption issues when the place was its most corrupt. His agent, Rudy, was dealing with the corrupt regime in hopes of getting them to allege dirt on Biden. Trump's only concern about the new administration was that they wouldn't be corrupt enough to help him politically. Trump mentioning a favor is the introduction of corruption in America's relationship with the new Ukrainian president. "This will cost you." Fuck you. You want the team whose jersey you wear to win the big game. You don't care how, and you don't mind diminishing whatever integrity you may have had to promote that victory. I would love to be in a bar where people like you might taunt people like me as losers. But snowflakes melt when forced to voice their dogma in person to real people. Like the coward Trump himself.

  9. A&M also played more non top-100 teams. The issue is that you have no idea what each rating set is attempting to explain, so you're clueless as to their meaning. Most rating systems have Texas in the 20s. Most rating systems have Texas with a very difficult Top 15 schedule. Depending on what you're trying to calculate, it's extremely easy to see Texas as having the #4 schedule in the country. A&M's schedule was harder to go 11-1 against than Texas's schedule. However, it was much easier to go 7-5 against than Texas's schedule. Let's take the Massey composite as a starting point as it combines as many systems as possible: https://www.masseyratings.com/cf/compare.htm A&M played the #120, #225 (Lamar - they are #225 in both Massey and Sagarin who include FCS teams), #76, #73, #121, #67 teams. Those were 6 of their 7 wins. Their only win against a team that is rated in the top half of FBS football teams was over #42 Mississippi State. Texas beat #27 and #29. The key in comparing these schedules is the games against good but not great teams. Texas played 4 games against teams from #15-#30. A&M played zero of these competitive games (for a team as good as they are). A&M played nobody from #13-#41. Their schedule doesn't really tell you anything about them. Meanwhile, Texas went 2-2 against teams that were between #15 and #30. They also had one bad loss (#49 TCU). Their other losses were to #2 and #4. That looks exactly like the result set of a team that is in the 20s. Your incredulity reflects more on you than on Sagarin's ratings.

  10. LSU offered to take this guy and give him the thumbs up medically after the first review from doctors at Texas. Sight unseen. He declined. Think about yourself at 18/19 doing that. This guy deserves any support our fans can give him. Also, LSU is a fucking piece of shit program.

  13. I figure I owe it to the drunk mafia who've put up with my shit all these years to at least provide an update on my situation here at casa Diablo. @Augustus put me in touch with a friend of his who passed my info along to some local folks and I met with one of them back in October. They got my records from my docs and took their good old time reviewing them but last Thursday they concluded that yes, I am in fact as blind as a bat and therefore eligible for some assistance. To celebrate being pronounced legally blind I have been masturbating feverishly ever since. What the hell, right? Anyway, wheels are turning, the world didn't come to a stop and a drink has never once crossed my mind today. I'll worry about tomorrow when it gets here. Soldier on, happy trudgers! Thanks for all of your love and support.

  14. Why would anyone wage war on a fake holiday attributing the springtime birth of a human to the date of the Roman solstice holiday "Saturnalia" as a way of assimilating conquered and brutalized natives to yet another new religion with new dieties sometime around the 4th century? Should we also be waging war on the Athenian holidays of Anthesteria, Apaturia, Dionysia, and just to follow with our mysoginistic society Thesmophoria too? Why not? Let's wage war on it all.

  21. Thus, we are not "aggy" of any sort, so please, never say "Oklahoma aggy" ever again. The word "aggy" is a term of art. It applies solely to the delusional fucks in college station. The ones who jizz in jars out of jealousy of their superior in-state rival and play dress up on the sidelines pretending to be soldiers. The term "aggy" refers to a place that negligently murdered 12 students out of devotion to their "burning hatred" of their superior in-state rival and hid behind sovereign immunity to make sure the facts were never established of their negligence. We have nothing of the sort in our fanbase. We have a faction of delusional assholes who want to fire Gundy and hire some unidentified badass who will bring all the five starts to Stillwater, but this is a small faction dumbass of an otherwise broeadly reasonable fan base. The delusional idiots are literally 98% of aggy fanbase by their own definition (anyone who questions aggy superiority are "2 percenters"). We are Oklahoma State University. The land grant college of a small state with a massive deficiency in our football record against the state's other major university, which cheated for decades to obtain blueblood status which sustains them today. We formerly were the Oklahoma A&M Aggies, which involves a proud history. Yeah, we have generally sucked at football except for a blip in the 40s, and another in the 80's when we tried to cheat like our in-state rivals, and have been well above average for the last 14 years. But we are nothing like aggy. Not even close. The only similarity is that we both were founded as agricultural and mechanical colleges and both have shitty records against our in-state rivals in football. There is literally no comparison in any other way. This might be interpreted as silly and lighthearted, but my hatred is very real. The fake soldiers are bad enough. But the bonfire issue takes it to another level. I am dead serious that we never, ever, ever, be compared to these despicable losers. That is my rant.

  23. Look, you're overpainting this. Some people seek nothing but the truth. Many on this board meet that standard. Many former Republicans now admit that they were supporting what turned out to be a decaying corpse that eventually revealed itself for what it was, and they said "enough, I can't support this", and they're speaking out now, loudly and frequently. Other people like Zavala and Rocko have no concern for the truth. They are either too stupid to separate wheat from chaff, or they are morally bankrupt and only out for themselves. Or both. Some of these people are sociopaths. Some are actual psychopaths. Some, again, are just plain fucking stupid. I don't care what the diagnosis is. All I care is that they are defeated. We are on a path where that's about to get a lot more real. Take that however you like.

Pitting Americans against each other to destabilize the nation? Destroying our NATO alliances? Or the discrediting our own intelligence, and law enforcement agencies?

  26. The right just wants to win elections. It's that simple. The only time they're ever honest is when they're gloating over some victory. Every other word they blabber is either meant to gaslight everyone (including themselves) into believing they're knowledgeable, or to gaslight everyone (including themselves) into believing that they care about America. They're broken souls. We're fucked.

  29. Dude, I worked for Big Pharma for 15 years. I’ve met hundreds of Mayo Petes. And I really liked Pete when he entered the race - I’m sure the first few pages of this thread and the Pete thread can prove it. But when he spewed that “shiny object” bullshittery about guns, I was absolutely finished with him. Yeah, Beto was my guy and that was aimed at him so I’m sure that played into my feelings but lots of other candidates took shots a him and nothing offended me like that. It was such a crass dismissive snarky remark about a literal life and death issue and it told me everything I need to know about what kind of person Pete is. Same with his “pocket change” nonsense. He’s Tracy Flick in a clean cut white dude’s body.

  32. I was just doing some searching and it still shocks me to read that Texas tops the merchandise sales numbers at this stage, surpassing Bama. We've sucked in all sports for a long ass time. It's a powerful fucking brand. When I travel outside of the US, I see Yankees, Lakers, Cowboys and Longhorn gear and notice it. You'll see people in that gear frequently. I'm also surprised when I see another brand from the US, especially at the college level. It's usually Notre Dame, Michigan, or Ohio State. I'm assuming most of the mouthbreathers from the SEC footprint lack the disposable income and personal ambition to put towards travel outside of their home zip code, which would be why I never see any of their logos. Although, I did see a chick wearing an ATM shirt standing outside of the Notre Dame Cathedral, in ruins, this summer. She was wearing high top tennis shoes, cutoff shorts, an ATM shirt, and eating a hot dog in the middle of Paris. Of course.

  35. Stop. Stop using their gaslighting characterization. The important fact is the one that the GOP repeatedly ignores and mischaracterizes -- Trump asked Ukraine to ANNOUNCE an investigation. Ukraine making a public statement was a specific ask. And is a specific crime. And is specifically ignored and mischaracterized by the gaslighting GOP. Don't repeat their lies. Fuck them up the ass with their lies.* * The problem is, the platoon of closeted types in the GOP will enjoy that.
