  1. I was at HEB today doing my weekly run and was looking for some just plain diced tomatoes (which they didn't have). An old hag with a Trump mask must have also been looking for the same thing because she spouted off "We're becoming more and more like a third world country every day. Can you believe they can't even stock tomatoes?" My reply was, "You are correct, and that's reason #7,219 that I'm voting for Biden. I never went without diced tomatoes when Obama was President." Vote Biden to secure our diced tomato supply.

  3. Let me stop you right fucking here, dipshit. At sentence one. Are you really attempting to claim that extremely poor, neigh, some of the worst possible coaching available is a poor excuse for not winning games on the football field? And then you're going to sit there and pretend that citing higher recruiting rankings doesnt actually PROVE that shitty coaching directly correlates to shitty fucking football teams? What're you, suggesting there's some magic force-field around Austin takes talented kids and makes them shitty once they move into the dorms? As opposed to just...shitty coaching? Tell me again what happened when Bob Stoops took over a talented program that had been run into the ground by shitty coaching by year 2? Oh, sorry, I just got to your second paragraph and that is indeed what you're suggesting. And you threw in a notion that you've beating eating Texas's lunch on the national stage for 50 years yet somehow you don't even have 50 wins total in the entire series. Listen, we'll give you the 2000s (7-14) because Charlie is the worst program coach ever and Mack Brown was a gutless pussy. The 90s Texas was 7-2-1. 80s; Texas was 4-5-1 70s: 6-3-1 I'm going to go ahead and do some math for you really fast, because you're from Oklahoma. That's a record of 24-24-3. That's literally fucking TIED the last 5 decades. So, riddle me this, sister fucker, how would YOU define "Eating someone's lunch on the national stage." Go ahead, we'll wait. Please, explain your definition. While you're at it, feel free to paint us a picture of "oklahoma's trajectory" as you see it, using whatever data points you have. Is continuing to win the Big 12 while Texas has been weak AF and getting your shit pushed in the playoffs? Because I don't know how to tell you this, ace, but that isn't exactly an upward trajectory. A plateau, however...

  5. How dare that kid question the food and shelter we give him after a hard day of picking cotton? How DARE HE!?!? I hope the coaches lashed him good, they aren’t doing him any favors by coddling him. Its hard for me to read his post and not basically think what I typed above is what this guy really wants to say. I’ll tell you what, I’ve shat on Herman plenty but it’s hard not to think the way he’s navigated this situation hasn’t been a big factor in why we have had so few opt outs, knock on all the mother fucking wood.

  6. Is there absolutely zero chance going forward for them? Did they burn bridges? No idea, I just keep hearing this. Blake managed to piss off every Texas alum in existence through general bitchassness and can't for the life of him figure out why people don't still love him and donate to his charity, and Tommy and James spent their June and July convincing our QB commit to flip to Bama, so I'd say they're doing a bang up job of lighting those motherfuckers up.

  9. Wow. Sheer dominance. That bologna sandwich taste good, motherfucker? Usually you guys like to live in the future. “When we get a defense” or “when xx gets back from suspension” or “when I get my next fix”, but it’s rare to see you try to push a theory of historical dominance because, well, it’s wrong. My guess is you’re 23, an account executive for some shitty obscure parts manufacturer, and your entire exposure to blOU football is within your lifetime. I bet you decorated your cubicle with pictures of all of your woman beating heroes. Maybe even a little plastic schooner on your desk. You feel so good about yourself that you think, hey....My life is going well. I’m making 28k, my sister is returning my calls again, what would make it better? Maybe I should go talk some shit to some shorthorns. Perhaps next time you’ll consider that the internet is full of people who know a lot more about your own team than you do. Your fan based opinions built on very little actual consumption of the rivalry are shitty. Do better.

  13. And here's something that nobody is talking about. Historically, the presidential vote has very closely mirrored the congressional generic ballot. And that congressional generic ballot hasn't changed hardly at all this year--it shows Democrats up 7-9 points. Counterpoint: after the Civil War, Democrats elected exactly two presidents in the 64 years between 1868 and 1932--and one of those (Woodrow Wilson) was under the very unique circumstances in which the Republican Party split itself between Roosevelt and Taft. That's two generations that the Democrats were in the wilderness because they were (fairly) seen as the party of treason and disunion. And then the Republicans blew it. After Hoover, Democrats held the presidency for 36 years, from 1932 to 1968--with the exception of the election of a war hero--because Republicans had so completely fucked up the response to the Depression. And then Democrats blew it. Vietnam and everything else caused the Republicans to regain power. In the 24 years from 1968 to 1992, Republicans held the presidency continuously with the exception of the Carter presidency, which was a direct result of Watergate (and even so, Carter only barely won). Viewed in the larger arc, it is normal in America for parties to be out of power for an entire generation based on major events in the country's history.

  14. All this points out is how tribalistic most Americans are. Rising to political power doesn't make you particularly smart, outside of the ability to manipulate people, and if people are that easily manipulated by a politician, it doesn't speak well of their critical thinking skills. If the President came out today and said the Moon was a hunk of Gouda, 40% of the country would believe it. I mean, his current campaign stump is that the discord we're seeing under his watch is a preview of what his opponent's tenure would look like. Removing political bias aside, that's a truly insane argument that many people buy - because it's coming from their tribe.

  18. I'm not the one who claimed superior. I made zero claim. I asked you to defend a claim of "Eating our fucking lunch on the national stage." So the onus is on you to do that fucking leg work, typically. So you feel free to go back and do the fucking math on all the shit you mentioned. But it's probably going to end up closer than most people would call "Eating someone's fucking lunch" on a national stage. Of course, conference titles during the Mack Brown area and then Charlie strong can...follow me here...get fucking tied RIGHT BACK into the concept of shitty fucking coaching. So lets not forget that your initial premise was "Shitty coaching is a poor excuse for losing football games." Why don't you fucking defend that fucking premise, you ignorant fucking dipshit. Because there's one thing I will claim superiority here, and that's the quality of our education and the caliber of the IQ of our fucking graduates. And exhibit A in that fucking defense is "Shitty coaching is a poor excuse for losing football games." Exhibit B is the net worth of our fucking state, and Exhibit C is stop fucking your immediate family members and go fuck yourself instead.

  20. This is what I don't understand about the GOP's insistence on the Muslim Ban. One the one hand you have a group with enthusiastic support for religious extremism, militarism, government mandated social restrictions and paternalistic suppression of woman's rights. Then there's the Muslims who will at least turn a blind eye to that GOP extremism.

  21. typing slowly here... context: you believe this little dipshit who went looking for trouble and murdered someone as a vigilante is righteous in that he came from another town in another state armed and was "protecting" business property from protesters. his atty is likening him to the american revolutionaries as part of their p.r. campaign to poison the well in a criminal prosecution, raise their profile to a national level in order to attract support (including financial) from useful idiots like yourself, and maybe even get vocal support from our mongoloid of a president. objectors here point out their perceived irony since they believe he would be more likened to a british monarchy loyalist due to his affection for an authoritarian who regularly exhibits naked corruption, nepotism, self-aggrandizing motivations, a general disdain for people who aren't from generational wealth, and an utter lack of empathy for the overwhelming majority of the population - including his own supporters. you take exception to that by pointing out that because he was "protecting private property," he was a true blue libertarian cherishing the values and ideals set forth by the american revolutionaries. me: snarky comment about the british east india company which is clearly a reference to the boston tea party. the british east india company was a comany that was started as an enterprise of london businessmen for importing spices. it was a joint stock company acting with charter bestowed upon by the crown. it was the entity that actually owned the tea that was destroyed in the boston tea party. cause of boston tea party: tea act of 1773 imposed by the british government. eventual americans object to this naked corruption favoring winners in the marketplace and the taxation of subjects without their representation in government. consequence of boston tea party: private property owned by british east india company is destroyed. you: but that was because of the actions of the government!!!!! LOUD NOISES. it was reactionary because of government injustice. me: insert exasperation gif here. perhaps a parallel could be drawn for you to help you. government injustice: tea tax : inequality in law enforcement application of justice depending on race. reaction: boston tea party : protest/riots. property destroyed: private : sometimes private. people protecting private property in those instances: loyalists : loyalists. now, don't misinterpret this as me endorsing the destruction of property as a helpful means of protest in the current context. i'm too rich at this point to do so and have too much to lose. i think it is counterproductive and undermines one's cause in this particular situation. that said, i also understand how it is coming to pass. but the absurdity of the effort to frame the narrative as it relates to this guy as akin to the battle of concord is beyond the pale and idiots like yourself that are incapable of thinking beyond the six inches in front of your nose drinking it up like brawno are the only reason such obvious manipulation tactics are employed.

  27. I know you guys don't seem to see it and I know you are a shitty ass troll but if you are brave and strong and willing to wait to tap that meth vein for a few minutes answer me this one simple question. Why is is that with the massive talent disparity between OU and the rest of the BigXII (and we will leave the Texas out of the discussion for the sake of rivalry) -- why is that Riley and Grinch and their combined mega-mindness played in 6 one score games in conference in 2019? Note this trend in one score games for OU in the BigXII for OU. 2016: 1 2017: 3 2018: 4 2019: 6 FWIW - all 4 years the game with the Texas team that you do not fear? 1 score games. All of them.

  30. Went today as a test run for game day, and they'll have to iron out a quite few kinks between now and October 10th for me to go back. Flavor was good, but you can definitely tell they aren't pros at hand dipping them. Also looked like they laid the corn dogs down in the basket and then lowered it into the oil because half of it was mangled and not the right texture or consistency. Then they put it in a box with a couple of mustard packets that became so greasy they were nearly impossible to open. Had to bite the edge of the packet, and I don't care to do that in non-Covid times. Also had the joy of waiting 15 minutes for my food in the drive thru...all in all, not good, Bob. 281 and Stone Oak Pkwy lcoation

  31. I assume you mean the defense creating turnovers? And the defense and Hurts were so bad at those things in 2019 that it caused a 4 year trend? that's some shit. So we're going to blame turnovers for the one score games, right? Bad luck on the D and slippery-handed Hurts. Right? The 2016 OU team had 17 turnovers and played in only one 1 score game. That same 2016 team only had 17 takeaways. Hmmm. What could possibly be the difference between 2016 and 2019, given similar numbers? Could it be that defense was an actual priority at practice at OU in 2016 and that Stoops valued physical football while Riley favors incredibly high reps to increase offensive execution, to the detriment of his defense? Could it be that Schmidt while a total cockface, is an excellent S&C coach that helps build strong physical players while Bennie Wylie is coming off a reality TV show and leaves a trail of soft injured football teams in his wake? Probably not. Wait, why is that OU continues to be humiliated on the national stage against teams with comparable talent? I'll help you. It's a complete lack of physicality. Agreed. A state of 30MM people has more meth users and mobile homes than a state that doesn't even have 4MM people? FFS, you have less people in the entire state than there are greater Houston. Also, don't be fucking obtuse and/or disingenuous, meth (and opioid) abuse is a very real problem in Oklahoma and the stereotype exists for a reason. Be better than this tired 2001-era BBS bullshit.

  37. And I would expect turn out to be bigger this year. Arguments for Trump winning are 50% of the country is part of his death cult He’s going to cheat to win Even if he loses, he won’t leave. I don’t think that happens. I think if half the country were in his death cult, Republicans would’ve at least held serve in 2018. He’s absolutely going to try to cheat but it won’t matter. Social media amplifies the hardcore supporters on both ends of the spectrum. This election will be won or lost in the middle and trump is despised by every moderate I know (and yes there still are a shitload of us). The most likely scenario is he loses the popular vote by a bigger percentage than in 2016 and he loses in the EC. He then leaves office when Biden is sworn in.
