  1. That was the most pussy shit I’ve read outside of the sugar baby thread. They had bad intel, were extremely wrong and instead of fucking owning it they just pull a 180 and go from sunshine pumping to doom and gloom. “It’s not our problem the staff can’t close”. Basically everyone they listed as 30% is a 50% and all their 50% or better are like 75% but they can’t say that in case they are wrong again. Idk guys, maybe instead don’t triple down on wrong info. Pussy shit, and if you believe anything in that article you’re a pussy too. All gas no brakes mother fuckers

  2. Final vet visit scheduled for Emma on Saturday. Poor old girl. To give you an idea how old she is, she was born a month before the premiere of the US version of The Office.

  4. So is Millard Fillmore. I mean, like Ronnie you can discuss anyone. But Reagan was a corrupt, balanced budget busting, hypocritical astrology believer who grifted in the Evangelicals - and who made a huge dog whistle/states rights play for the racist Democrats to come into the GOP fold.

  5. My Facebook feed has a lot of memories for this date six years ago; see, in the aftermath of Obergefell v. Hodges, the Ponderer crew packed up and headed to Austin to assist with wedding overflow. We met fellow activists in one of the Judge's quarters down at the Travis County courthouse, and I should have known the whole event would be coordinated by Glenn Maxey. If you've never met Glenn, you're missing out. Texan through and through, and gayer than a $3 bill. Funniest person I think I've ever met. Anyway, we shepherded around people (including an awful lot of olds, who were dying for their lifetime partnerships to be legalized before they snuffed it) and even escorted folk down to the Capitol grounds, which seemed like an auspicious place for their no-planning-involved vows to be exchanged. A lot of good memories there. Anyway, the Facebook memories got me curious about long term effects of the decision. There are several retrospectives, but I'll just share from the easiest to quote, even though it's a year old now: The Economic Impact of Marriage Equality Five Years After Obergefell v. Hodges The immediate impact on economic impact is too pat, I think. There's lots of secondary impacts related to additional economic stability afforded by committed relationships. And there has undoubtedly also been a boost to mental health that means a negative economic impact has been lessened. Always hard to judge that sort of thing. But anyway, love has been love has been love for six years now. My how time flies. I can't wait to see this sort of retrospective on pot legalization.

  8. No, he isn't and yes, he did. Ronald Reagan did profound damage to this country by demonizing a government chosen by its citizens. We are in the current mess we are in politically in large part because Ronald Reagan encouraged Americans to hate their country.

  9. Season ticket holder for over 30 years and I let them go this year because it’s now obvious that the illegal paying of players has gotten so out of hand that schools are left with no choice but to cheat or die. Anyone who knows anything about college football saw what happened at Georgia and A&M and realized it’s all just buying wins now. The sport is losing its appeal to me because of it.

  10. See - decades of hearing this from Rush and other lying assholes has taught him the White GOP Reagan Catechism. Sort of insulates him from facts or stats. Just make sweeping statements while in the company of people buying this same shit, and nod at each other in agreement right before hitting the Trump boat in front of you.

  14. My boy and I fished the South Padre jetties this morning.. We caught a snook, a tarpon, a bull red and 4 slot reds. Then we ran the beachfront north looking for more tarpon. We stopped at a spot about a half mile offshore in 20 feet of water and caught a limit of snapper. we continued north and about 3 miles short of Port Mansfield found tons of birds working and the beachfront all stirred up. We trolled live mullet for big tarpon, which we could see surfacing frequently but could not hook up. We did catch a 100 pound blacktip. We ran thru the Port Mansfield jetties and ran back to SPI via the bay in about a foot of water or less to avoid the chop in the surf.

  16. Update: Not much right now, busy but wanted to throw this in: The frontal thing that was responsible mostly for whoever got weekend rains, is around but weak, and fizzling. However, cockblocking situation I mentioned above in place, high west of us will (unfortunately for them, great for us) restrengthen a bit over Western U.S. for a few more days. This results in dry/heat for West, but for disturbances to be squeezed down to us the next few days. That's what's happening today, a very large % of the state receiving rain right now. Amazing tropical soothing rain in Bee Cave the last 30 mins. Aaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... Slow trend to warmer, drier by weekend. But the week remains glorious - under normal temps through Friday, 90° might not even be hit a few of them. Rain chances good through Tues, start declining Wed→Fri. This is fucking glorious weather. Anyone who truly is bitching about humidity, "I feel icky" etc. I will try to personally visit with a face-shovel STFU. It's July. It should be 99° and rain chances = to a Surly-ster banging Sonia Hayek after she's begged 3 weeks for it. I was downtown last night for the fireworks and I cannot fugging remember any 4th that was as pleasant. My god it was nice! Enjoy because it's not going to last. However this summer so far has proven to break all predicted molds. No, not break, shatter into microscopic pieces. Every day like this is one less un-like it. More later. Edit: Salma, Sonia, whatever. The beautiful one with the great rack.

  17. i'm gonna weigh in here (😄)... lots of hostility in this thread. some of it understandable. some of it just plain mean. also some empathy. my mom's side of the family were big people, the women in particular - tall, developed early, big T&A...and yeah, fat. dad's side is stick-thin. a paternal aunt actually starved herself to death (she was also alcoholic which contributed). my dad has been obsessed with how much fat is in a dish, how many calories something has, etc since forever. like...he jokes at almost every meal about it. my childhood home was bereft of typical 'fat' foods, especially sweets. there was no sugary cereal, we never drank soda, no cupcakes or cookies, the only chips allowed were tortilla chips... and i was still always the tallest/biggest girl in my group, as was my sister. neither of us ever had a problem socially or, uh, dating. ever (did i mention the T&A? 😄) my dad first called me fat when i was 12. he left my mother (and broke her) when i was 16 bc she had gotten too fat (she was smaller than i am now). he once asked both his son-in-laws (at a family gathering, after many drinks of course), didn't it bother them that my sister and i were so big?? 🙄 as adults we've both struggled with our weight. sister went keto in 2019, after mom died, and lost quite a bit. she's kept most of it off and looks fantastic...but i know from this thread that many here would still call her a fatass. being tall women helps. as does a pretty face 😊 my dad still obsesses over how much fat is in something, and he eats fake cheese that won't melt lol. we don't blame him, he is who he is. but... my neice is anorexic and has been for the past 5 years. it's been terrifying. she is model-beautiful, tall, was very athletic...and a boy called her fat at the beginning of her sophomore year in h.s....she then lost 40 lbs in about 3 months. she became anemic and her hair started falling out and all sorts of other side effects. she hasn't had a period in 4 years. my sister contemplated an inpatient program, it was that bad. she's headed into soph year in college now, and seems to have reached a healthy plateau (she gained back about 15 lbs the past year). she spent 3 years with therapy and a nutritionist. she works out obsessively (literally, she's massively OCD, by product of the anorexia) and is now shaped like a boy instead of a girl, and she eats things that are just disgusting...but she's determined to keep the weight on. she'd probably be considered perfect by many here...but she still looks very, very thin to us. her ribs poke out. my dad of course thinks she looks great lol. anyway...yeah, i'm 'fat'. i'm working on myself and my reasons why. our genes are not to blame...but they are definitely not helping. neither of us wants to be like our mom or aunts. we still don't eat many sweets, and don't have any health issues. yet, of course. and i married a black man who loves my shape so there's that 😄 i'm not sure why i wanted to chime in on this thread of men, many of whom would be outright mean/hostile to someone like me. i kind of didn't want to even read this thread bc i knew it would be that way, i've been around this community online for decades lol...but i forced myself to. i guess i thought it might help motivate me. it also reinforced how many assholes post here 😋 i've met a few posters in person (real estate, buying football tickets. etc) but i'd be terrified of attending a HH for those same reasons above. and the mean ones aren't wrong...counting calories should be easy, it is just math, it is simple, stupid. but i guess i just wanted to tell a story to show that it's also very complicated. human beings are complex, and there are entire industries design to exploit our weaknesses. and then there's the psychology, and the emotions, and everything else...logic doesn't always prevail. i don't mind being me at all...but i worked hard to retire very early so i could enjoy an active life with travel and adventure. that's what motivates me right now. i want to avoid all the health problems my mother and aunts faced. i know what i need to do, and i try. every day.

  20. Why would anything happen to the Clintons? (Other than Bill getting impeached for lying under oath about getting a blow job.) The Starr Commission was originally formed to investigate THEIR business dealings but couldn’t find anything. Then it turned into an actual witch hunt, a fishing expedition to try to create any scandal they could. Every accusation against the Clintons came from their political rivals. Trump was effectively named as a co-conspirator in the felony campaign finance violations that sent Michael Cohen to jail. We’ve seen the payoff checks he signed while in the Oval Office. He’s bragged before about how cheating on his taxes makes him “smart.” The Clintons have submitted to way more investigations and have actually testified in person for many hours of interrogation, unlike Trump who’s never sat for a second of testimony under oath. If there’s actual evidence of criminal activity on the part of the Clintons, bring charges. They’ve been the constant target of character assassination from the right for close to 30 years. The Clinton Chronicles propaganda movie, distributed by Jerry Falwell in the early 90’s, actually accused Bill of being a cocaine addict. They’ve been accused of being drug dealers, murderers, and pedophiles without any evidence to support those allegations. Fox News viewers will tell you how many times Bill flew with Jeffrey Epstein, yet no photos of the two together, let alone with Bill playing grab ass with young women, have ever been made public, unlike with Trump. Also unlike Trump, no woman has come forth with an accusation against Bill for assaulting her when he was with Epstein. If Jeffrey Epstein had dirt on Bill Clinton but not on Donald Trump then he’d still be alive. Over the course of decades, if the Republicans had anything on which to base charges against the Clintons then you can be damn sure they would’ve been charged.

  21. This is the fucking point that needs to resonate, loudly. I am tired of following this shit, year after year, only to watch these motherfucking blatant paymasters win recruits that shouldn't even be in the conversation. Oregon? Get the fuck outta here...West Coast football is a fucking joke. Nobody fucking cares. And what the fuck has Georgia really done since 1980? These programs continue to stockpile elite talent via a coordinated pay-for-play structure, allowing them to win the majority of their games, and wait until the (5) stars align and they eventually get the combination right to make a run at a Title. "This is the Way" in college football today. Meanwhile, the NCAA will continue to pick on teams like Arizona State while ignoring Oregon, Georgia, aggy, Ohio State, Bama, Clemson, etc. We have zero reason at this point not to get in the filth and play the game the way it is being played by the most successful programs. The moral high-ground has gotten us nowhere.

  25. I don't have much to contribute, but, over the past few months, I've dropped 40 lbs. No keto or other trick bullshit; I simply eat better food and less of it. The only thing I get from a drive-up is McD's oatmeal, and I do get that regularly. I switched to super-lite beer, and after a few weeks, it tasted "normal" to me. Still have about another 15 to go to get where I want to be. BTW, the BMI charts are seriously fucked-up. I'm 6-1, and according to BMI charts, 150 lbs would be in the "normal" weight range. WTF? I have a 7 3/4 head and size 14 feet, so I'd look like a fucking POW if I was 150 lbs. On a side note, the GF's daughter married into a well-to-do family. Her husband's mom is turning 70, so dad books a Maui trip for the entire family; GF's SIL, daughter, and their kids, as well as the SIL's sister, husband, and kids. The sister is fat, so she refuses to go to Hawaii on an all-expense-paid trip to celebrate her mom's birthday. Because she's THAT embarrassed of her weight. It's fucking sad. The brother is grinding the fuck out of his sister because mom is so disappointed. She now knows that her dad has rented an Air BNB deal with a private pool, so she's reconsidering it, because nobody but family will see her in a swimsuit. Fuck man, if you're too embarrassed to accept a free dee-luxe vacation, maybe you should put down the fucking fork.

  26. I'll address this directly to Looch, since there's a 100% chance he'll see it here: You sound like a girlfriend who stormed out, expecting her ex to shed tears and beg her to stay, only to find out that he was tired of her incessant bitchfest and was glad she was gone. We definitely do not need to get back together, Felicia. Our only regret is that y'all couldn't literally pack up all of College Station and move it to Mississippi.

You think lsu went down the drain because of bad character as opposed to Orgeron being head coach, and losing Joe burrow and Joe Brady and about 15 other starters and contributors to the nfl draft? 31. Yes, Donald, people know. They're called accountants. You've employed a fleet of them over the years and they would have literally forced you to declare these things and pay taxes on them, except that you forgot to disclose everything to your accountants. You probably accidentally showed them the wrong set of books. Because you're a fucking criminal.

  32. Oh, the shear ecstasy of watching my aggy neighbor across the side street pull, yank and tug on his power washer for 10 minutes and it would not start. He was so flustered and pouring sweat already and hadn’t hit a lick. I sauntered over to offer unsolicited advice and he was lamenting the “piece of junk” he bought and explained it was full of gas, he had the choke on and just didn’t understand why it wouldn’t start. I reached down, flipped the on / off toggle to the “on” position and said “hey, you s’posed to be SEC.” He pulled once more and it fired up. My life is complete.

  33. Regarding IT and any of the other pay sites- their fault or not what they sell is access and inside information about the program. Between the coaching search updates and now the start of this recruiting cycle, IT clearly does not possess the information that they claim and market. Reading some of these coaching search updates after the fact knowing now how it went down from one of the individuals who part of the process, it’s hard to reconcile their information from any random person making shit up from the coaching search thread. I rationalized this by just saying well maybe it was the goal of the university and alumni to intentionally mislead. And when you mix that in with agents spreading misinformation, it was a bad mix. But then there was Bobby Burton claiming to talk to the key decision makers yet he didn’t know fuck all either or was helping in the intentional spreading of misinformation. And now we are here getting random commitments out of the blue while people we thought we lead for really did not even have us in their final two. It’s hard to reconcile with people on that site like Gerry, Bobby and Scipio that I genuinely respect. Nahlin and Wells are just like any other 9.95’er in my opinion.

  34. His teammates loved him and they arguably were the most successful they’ve been in the last 25 years. Your original statement is stupid. You’re standing safely by the bus stop with farmer aggy. jalen waddle seems like a perfectly fine teammate. Jameis Winston was quite popular. Do you have to take into account additional character risks? Sure. But that’s it. LSU won a National title with a team full of dirty recruits. But if you want to jerk off to the idea of moral upright brotherhood in the locker room while we continue to get our asses handed to us, well, all I can say is you’ll fit right in with our stupid fucking alumni. Just go ahead and trot out the “i only want good kids who want to go to Texas” and “I’d rather stop playing football than cheat” and be done with it.
