Bad take, imo. It's important in its messaging and symbolism- to those in his country who are suffering and for whom life is dramatically different than it was 400+ days ago, and to others around the world as a reminder that Ukraine is still a country under attack and in desperate need of assistance. A suit doesn't send that message- it says "good as new" and "business as usual".20 points

Shut the fuck up, Ketch, you worthless piece rhinoceros shit. No one here gives a fuck about you or your paid fluffer Jason Suchomel. For the 500th time, stop fucking posting here, no one likes you, no one thinks you contribute shit, and no one is going to go sub to your piece of shit Rivals website. Also, take a bath, we can smell your unwashed taint through the computer screen. P.S. Fuck You.17 points

Look at this uncouth SOB that wouldn’t even put on a tie, much less his full dress uni, to meet an Emperor. Zelensky is communicating that he has no time for pomp and flair; his people are dying and he’s working tirelessly to help them.17 points

In 2003, it took the US/coalition, who had to fly/ship their gear thousands of miles around the world by boat and airplane, six days to take Baghdad, a city of over 5 million people. Russia has not been able to fully take and consolidate Bakhmut, a city of 77,000 people, after over 285 days, even though they had more troops than the Coalition had in 2003, and Ukraine had about the same number as the Iraqis. A city that is 145 miles from the Russian border.16 points

It's been a rough year for you. It must get harder and harder for you to fabricate Russian good news so you can get an erection. There's probably a great selection of Russian propaganda films somewhere on Rumble. Why don't you give some of those a shot?16 points

Lane Kiffin is a "dork" coming from a diehard aggie while Jimbo Aggins is the head coach. Ryan Day and Kirby Smart were "career coordinators". Both guys were hired as HCs around the age of 40. Durkin and Adazzio were bad hires, but in year 2, maybe they'll turn into good hires. Let's "infest" in a OL coach. Sonny Dykes would be a good hire. They don't want a repeat of the "Sumlin situation" as Jimbo Fisher is performing worse on a trendline than Kevin Sumlin. They think a $60M buyout is about where it gets affordable. These are the dumbest motherfuckers posting on a sports forum on the Internet. That includes other SEC schools, Nascar forums, NFL and NBA forums, and European soccer fans. It's stunning.16 points

Exactly. You're not paying attention. Good news for that twat would be Russia using tactical nukes on Kyiv. See below. Sure you do. And as many posters here recognize, you've got years of history proving it. Bahkmut Falling, lol. Patriot system damaged. I don't think you're so stupid as you can't help yourself or that myopic, so it's intentional. It's obviously intentional. People have been watching you post here for years under multiple shitty usernames, and you never fail to be a disingenuous shit who behaves solely in bad faith.15 points

You are one sick sonofabitch, I'll give you that. Like both of those, I'll be at this one. The key difference is I expect to be taunting an entire stadium until they remove me from my seats as Texas is up by 3 touchdowns in the 4th.15 points

This franchise is so fucking lucky. It’s one thing to win the lottery three times. It’s entirely another to win it three times and each time there’s a no brainer generational prospect waiting for you. Holy shit. Go spurs go.14 points

While it is only a rough comparison, Bakhmut does somewhat compare to a battle with which we are all familiar: the Alamo. There was no good reason for Travis to disobey orders and stay in the Alamo, just as it seems that there was no real strategic need for Ukraine to stay in Bakhmut. Santa Anna could have left a small force to keep the Texians fixed in the Alamo, and Russia could have done the same with Bakhmut. Taking the Alamo did not give Santa Anna any strategic gain other than the boast that he had taken it and slain all of the defenders, just as taking Bakhmut gives Russia no strategic gain other than taking it in a brutal fashion as an example of why to not resist Russia. Santa Anna used his best troops to take the Alamo, taking high casualties and weakening his army materially, just as is happening to Russia's best troops in Bakhmut. Finally, just as "Remember The Alamo!" became a battle cry and inspiration for the Texians at San Jacinto, Bakhmut is now an example of Ukrainian resistance and determination in the face of superior numbers.12 points

Watched a short clip where the British PM was welcoming Zelensky in a room where Churchill made some of his war-time speech and I’m struck by one thing: Churchill literally spent his entire adult life preparing for that moment. Zelensky was a freaking comedian and actor that became a president and now all of a sudden finds himself leading a war for his people’s survival. AND. HE. HAS. BEEN. NAILS. He has been exactly the leader his people needed him to be. The dude stepped up to the plate in a way very few in history have.12 points

Your takes are extremely grating in one way because you present shit like this as unquestioned fact/obvious inference, when it it not. The Iraqis and Ukrainians had about the same size army and about the same number of T-72 vintage tanks. https://www.cfr.org/backgrounder/iraq-iraqs-prewar-military-capabilities https://www.statista.com/statistics/1296573/russia-ukraine-military-comparison/ A big difference maker is that over the last ~50 years the NATO countries and western Defense companies have developed tech that is comically effective at destroying T-72s and all other Russian shit, while the Russian Army/defense industry funding has been diverted to palaces and mega yachts, where, admittedly, the Russians have shown to be a dominant international power.11 points

Started putting this together in preparation of the portal opening up in less than 13 days and wanted a quality control check in case I am missing anyone. Figured it would make it easier to track who is coming, leaving, available, etc. and it can be updated easily.9 points

I asked ChatGPT to write new lyrics to the Beatles song, 'Yesterday," about how Aggy feels about Texas joining the SEC. ChatGPT (Verse 1) Yesterday, all our dreams were bright, Aggie pride would shine, oh what a sight, Now it seems those days are far away, Oh, I long for that time before Texas came to play. (Chorus) Oh, yesterday, SEC was ours to claim, But now we're lost in the shadow of their fame, Oh, yesterday, Texas A&M's joy fades away, We were happy, oh so happy yesterday. (Verse 2) Suddenly, they joined the conference elite, Bringing rivalry that stings and depletes, Our sacred traditions torn apart, A piece of our spirit, forever marked by this start. (Chorus) Oh, yesterday, SEC was ours to claim, But now we're lost in the shadow of their fame, Oh, yesterday, Texas A&M's joy fades away, We were happy, oh so happy yesterday. (Bridge) Why did they have to come and change it all? Our cherished memories now seem so small, We had a bond, a family so strong, But now it's broken, and the pain lasts so long. (Verse 3) So many battles fought with passion true, But now the glory is divided in two, Oh, I yearn for the time when we stood tall, Without this bitter rivalry that now enthralls. (Chorus) Oh, yesterday, SEC was ours to claim, But now we're lost in the shadow of their fame, Oh, yesterday, Texas A&M's joy fades away, We were happy, oh so happy yesterday. (Outro) Oh, yesterday, Our spirit's been cast astray, The wounds remain, they won't fade away, Oh, yesterday, Texas A&M longs for that yesterday.9 points

The goal, as I am sure everyone here already knows, is to completely drain public schools, especially in the large metro areas, to the point that they will almost cease to exist. It is entirely about money. It should be illegal to profit off of the education of children. I just find that to be one of the most egregious things human beings do. When you have reached the point to where turning a profit for investors off of schooling is normalized, you are completely lost as a person and society is as well. I cannot voice more strongly than that how opposed I am to it in Texas as well as here in New York. We have ghouls here in the mayor and now the governor who want to see more charter schools. These people all deserve to sit next to each other for all of eternity while hearing Gilbert Gottfried’s voice on a never ending loop.9 points
