  1. Our DBs wore DBU shirts because we are DBU. Fuck you and your shitty school.

  2. LSU faces so many spread teams... like who?!. Like that shitty Florida team that barely beat a Miami team that is on par with fucking Kansas. That same Florida team that put up 400 yards on them. These fucks play the bottom barrel sec teams like Ole Miss, Miss st, aggy, Arkansas, Tenn, SC, Vandy, Mizzou, and think their defense is untouchable. They're going to have their tails between their legs just like Mizzou and UGA did after we brought the fucking wood to them. Just remember to come back and take your licks after the game. And give me a break with this 5 star DB bullshit. Sterns, Foster, Jones, Overshown, Green, Cook, Owens were all rated 5 stars between the various services. All but Owens had an LSU offer. We have plenty of talent ourselves and Sam and our SR stud WRs aren't fucking scared. LSU beats one trash team and now their offense is better than Lincoln Riley and the 2 fucking Heisman candidates we faced... LMAO.

  3. Somebody tell dipshit here that Texas has been called DBU since before Roy Williams spent 4 hours teabagging the entire LSU defense on New Year's Day 16 years ago. The LSU DBs got embarrassed so badly that at one point the camera caught Bevo taking a dump and the announcer said "it's been that kind of day for LSU".

  6. I'll try to articulate (as an LSU fan) some of my observations and concerns for this game. Seems this thread has gone sideways. I think it's hard to really gain a whole lot of perspective on what LSU is capable of doing and what gives them issues on offense from the Georgia Southern game. LSU has traditionally been a complete mess on offense in which the passing game never looked incredibly sharp, was always devoid of enough options for the QB to take advantage of a short/immediate passing game. I believe that's why GaSouthern was in the defense they were in. I also believe that's why LSU spent so much time trying to throw the football. I was happy with the organization, lack of presnap penalties, the right routes being run, and the ball being delivered on time. It's what we've been waiting for as fans and should be a minimum expectation for a program with the athletes LSU has. Shame on them for letting the offense be what it was for so long. The Left Tackle position is a massive concern...if Charles goes down. If plays were blown up, it was usually due to the LT missing an assignment. Charles didn't play and the combination of his replacements struggled some. While the young guy (Rosenthal) has all the talent in the world, he has work to do in the mental side of things. I'm also concerned about lack of push from the OL in a few short yardage situations. The reality is......this is going to come down to the usual suspects.....Turnovers, 3rd down efficiency, red zone, if one team has a big injury or two, and who can execute when it counts. I expect a highly competitive game. I do feel more confident as an LSU fan after last week, but going into Austin in this type of situation is no cakewalk. It will be fun to see how it plays out.

  7. Happy to be a part of the discussion this week. Should be a great game. Looking forward to the trip. I would be happy to answer any questions about LSU. I'll start by saying this game should remind no LSU fan of the Miami game, just as it should remind no UT fan of the UGA game. Both of those matchups are entirely different than this one will be... I do think we are more talented, but any slight advantage is basically negated by going on the road. I expect this to be a very evenly matched game... And for your last point I'll just disagree. For starters, Ga Southern would destroy Rice. But that aside, its true that LSU’s offense has looked good against bad teams in the past, but it was completely different. Rather than dominate with downhill runs and play action passes, we dominated by spreading the ball around and throwing quick passes. You may look at that as a negative (given your last comment) but realize that we haven't seen an offense do that since 2007. It is precisely why we were ecstatic leaving the game.

  8. Summary of the thread so far: LSU Fans: We got spread offense birtch! Texas got no film; y'all baws is fucked! Texas Fans: We play in the Big 12. Everyone runs a spread offense here. You may have heard of Lincoln Riley. Our defense will be prepared. LSU Fans: Your defense sucks, baw! Texas Fans: Seemed to work fine against Georgia. LSU Fans: We's SEC birtch!

  9. It's going to be hilarious when we wax their ass in this game. They played fucking Georgia Southern who is a high school level option team that attempts less than 10 passes a game. We would have put up 50 on them too. This same fucking team that let mediocre teams score all over them including La Tech, aggy, and UCF. Coburn is going to fucking shit on that fatass Chasen Hines on Saturday. We're going to win this DL and OL matchup. This is also one of the fastest Texas defenses in the last 7-8 years. The whole losing 8 starters on D is a fucking stupid ass media narrative and Orlando will tell you that much himself. Roach has started here since his freshman year. Coburn looked like the best DL against UGA and is faster and more disruptive than Nelson. Graham is going to be 10x better than that liability Hager. Shark and Ossai are the best LB combo we've had since Jordan Hicks and Steve Edmond. I know we're young at CB2 but we'll have 3-4 elite safeties in there to help with coverage. We've made Baker Mayfield, Kyler Murray look pedestrian and made Jake Fromm look like a fucking big 12 back up. Orlando will have field day confusing Burrow in passing situations. Most importantly, Herman is going to outmensa the fucking coach Ogre is. Dude put a coaching clinic against Kirby Smart twice (bama DC and uga). Whipped Jimbo Fisher who ogre lost to last year and is 2-1 vs Lincoln Riley. He's gone up against some great minds and I have no fucking doubt that Herman is going to coach circles around that fucking inbred retard Orgeron.

  13. Wipe the mud off your feet (that's what the welcome mat is for) and come on in and grab a beer. If you're willing to talk football you will do just fine here. If you're just talking shit you may as well turn around now. Just leave your silly memes at home. I've seen a bunch of them while skimming LSU boards. Will address the worst and most prevalent right up front here: Meme #1: LSU is much more talented – LSU is slightly more talented. Average ranking of the last 4 recruiting classes is 7.25 for LSU and 9.5 for Texas. 2 spots in the rankings is not much of an edge and the difference is entirely due to the 2017 transition class. Meme #2: This game reminds me of Miami last year - If you actually think this you should check with your doctor for early onset Alzheimer’s. Texas is more talented than Miami was and far better coached. Miami was recruiting top 25 and stepped up with the #12 and #6 sophomore and freshman classes respectively. Texas’ prior level was top 15 followed by back to back #3 classes. Miami had a UGa reject as HC and a Texas reject as DC who was ridden out of town on a rail mid-season. _iaz was so badly abused by Big XII OCs he had to spend years in conferences with inferior offenses like the ACC and SEC rebuilding his reputation. Texas has a HC who steps up in big games. Tom Herman was 5-2 against the top 25 in 2018 and 6-0 at UH. We also have a top notch DC instead of the guy who made Taysom Hill look like Cam Newton. Meme #3: The Georgia Southern game was so impressive – Actually it’s very much like what happened the last time LSU faced a team on that level. The major differences between last weekend and the Rice game during the November bye week were two: LSU actually was able to run the ball effectively last year and they went +2 in TO margin this year instead of -1 resulting in quicker scores. So it’s impressive until you consider the quality of the opponent. LSU’s offense often looks unstoppable against bad teams. It’s impressive until you remember that last year’s offense did essentially the same thing to a different over matched scrub. It’s impressive until you realize that 70% of the passes were within 5 yds of the LOS and half within 2 yds of the line. A lot of those are going to be minimal gains or TFLs against a real defense.

  14. Today I learned from our esteemed visitors that in 2018: The following schools had a better run defense than LSU: Southern Miss, San Diego State, Marshall, Charlotte, Army, Northern Illinois, Air Force, UAB, North Texas, Appalachian State, Troy, Wyoming, Fresno State, and Ohio (not State). The following schools had a better pass defense than LSU: Eastern Michigan, Central Michigan, Appalachian State, Bowling Green, Tulsa, Southern Miss, Arkansas State, UAB, Temple, Army, Fresno State, Akron, Louisiana Tech (!), Florida International, Buffalo, Wyoming, UTEP. The following schools had a better overall defense than LSU: Southern Miss, Appalachian State, Army, UAB, Fresno State, Wyoming, San Diego State, Charlotte. I know this is true because I went to the NCAA website and it says it right there in their stats rankings. LSU was below those teams in yardage allowed per game in those categories.

  15. Their starting O-line had a ton of experience. The youngest guy on that line was a 4 year starter. No doubt there was a talent gap in that game, but for our DL to put on that kind of pressure against a OL that had seen a lot of time, including Clemson's studly DL last year, I feel much better about us getting pressure with fewer blitzes ---------------------------------------------- I want to add onto this very good point. There is a fallacy going around that LSU could easily throw on Georgia Southern as they lack a secondary to stop it, while other secondaries (Texas being the most vocal) will not be void of talent (just experience). This is simply false in every way. Burrow craved up a very good pass defense of Georgia Southern. Did you know that in 2018 Georgia Southern was #54 in pass defense nationally? That’s better than Texas at #112. But Texas plays in the wide-open pass happy Big12, so the comparison is not fair.... Georgia Southern also ranked ahead of Auburn and Texas A&M. But Texas is DBU... talent is so deep. Did you see Jalen Green this week! It doesn’t matter who goes up against our CB because they practice against the best WRs in college football every day. They are all 6’6” and run like deers. No team will have better WRs. These are all things Texas fans AND analysts have said or written in the past 3 weeks. It confusing because... Georgia Southern CBs Kindle Vildor - 2018 2nd Team All American (PFF) - 2018 Sun Belt POTY (PFF) - 2018 AP 1st Team All-Sun Belt - 2019 Coaches Preseason Defensive POTY - 2019 Coaches Preseason 1st Team All-Sun Belt Monquavian Brinson - 2018 1st Team All-Sun Belt (PFF) - AP 2nd Team All-Sun Belt x 2 years - 2019 Coaches Preseason 1st Team All-Sun Belt Georgia Southern has 2 Senior CBs that played in huge games (Clemson last year for example), and yet Burrow craved them up like a Thanksgiving turkey. Perhaps we are under appreciating the work that LSU did on offense this week? ^Stolen from LSU247 Did you seriously just come in here with raw total statistical rankings of a Sun Belt team? Georgia Southern was #96 nationally last year in adjusted total passing per attempt (compared to Texas at #29). They were #73 in passing SP+ defense (compared to #37 for Texas). Only a fool would think Georgia Southern's pass defense last year was better than Texas, let alone Auburn. This was a really really bad post. You should feel bad. Really really bad.

  16. It was so long ago, and with our President driving the news cycle constantly maybe you've forgotten all the hubbub of Joaquin Castro tweeting out a few names of people who donated to Trump. Some intrepid coder decided to merge a twitter account with the FEC database and voila! It auto-tweets every few minutes a random Trump donor, their hometown, and the amount they have donated:

  17. "Relevancy matters". Does it really, now? "Oh, no no no, this matters. Like, I mean, bro, like it relevancy matters, that's how much it matters!" - Right. You meant recency, dumbfuck. I'd give you the benefit of the doubt, but in reading the last 3 pages and watching you torture proper grammar and punctuation until both concepts went tits up right here on this thread, I can't help believe that you really are too stupid to understand the word choice you made. Watching you also just kick data and logic in the nuts until they passed out as well proves that you're as ignorant as you are stupid. That's a given for any LSU fan or grad I've ever met, so I can't really say I'm surprised.

  19. mass shootings are so common place no one is shocked anymore. we keep having the same arguments which end up with absolutely fucking nothing being changed because maaa riiiiiggghhhhtttttsssss!!!!!! we had terrorists fly planes into buildings and the way the US lives and operates changes overnight. legislation, billions of dollars spent, civil rights freely given up just because you could easily blame religious nutjobs who happen to be non-christians. you have tens of thousands of people dying every year from gun violence, you have white dudes wacking off to guns and gun culture while chanting maaaaa riiiiggggtttttssss mass shooting innocent people almost on a monthly basis this year, you have blacks in major cities mass killing other blacks like its a rap video, and we just accept it because our politicians are bought by a few companies. we recently had a boat tragedy. there's a good chance safety regs will be changed because 30+ people died. rightly so, the government will try to do what it can to prevent another tragedy from happening again. but tens of thousands of people die every year and half the population doesn't give a fuck other than saying it's a mental health issue. well, the fuckers who flew planes to the twin towers also had mental health issues and we sure the fuck did a hell of a lot to try to keep it from happening again. funny world we live in.

  20. Mrs CL: What does this app do on your phone? Me: It talks to my radar detector with bluetooth. It can tell you the location of speed traps and the speed limit wherever you are on the highway. I don't ever use it because you have to restart it every time you get in the car and pair it with your phone and login each time. It's cool but it's a huge pain in the ass. Mrs CL: Oh. Ok. Thanks. Me: What did you think it did? Mrs CL: I thought you might be chatting with hookers.
