    Slocum’s Razor

Downfall of democracy, voting to get yourself money.  So far only corporations have truly figured it out.  At some point the 90% Is gonna rebel.

I can't believe how many people are still defending this piece of shit.
I get that people hate admitting when they were wrong.  But how much more do you need to see before you cut your losses?
I said this on election night, and I still think it's right: in 25 years it will be impossble to find anyone who admits that they voted for Donald Trump.

Your wrong sadly.
I’m down at coast now, in the heart of the Redneck Riviera, and I saw a woman flying a Trump 2020 flag. No let’s wait and see. Full Trump fuck yeah!!!
The power of willful ignorance is strong. My own mother dropped a tasty “but what about Hillary”. 40% are a fucking lost cause. It’s sad.

I would like to know when they are being talked down to. Seems like that’s bullshit drummed up by Fox News to anger them. When is all that happening? It also isn’t condescension to say, hey you’re being fooled by a con man. Snap out of it.

I imagine their definition of condescension includes anything from someone more educated, wealthier or younger trying to change their mind regardless of tone or merit.

Yeah after a full 1.5 years of this administration, if someone still supports him, they’re a piece of shit. I thought that was pretty simple

Most of them believe Trump will solve of their problems and they will be well of with him in power, most people are looking for someone to solve their problems aka the god emperor (really god appointed him to them), nobody is going what can I to to help myself. Also fox isn’t helping when they are saying, look what the Ds are doing to you but fail to mention how Rs are ducking them daylong

they always point how Hollywood is elite and looking down on them but they consume most of their content so that’s sort of weird. Also how much porn is consumed by the red states shows you what family values are

This quote from West Wing explains why people think he's doing a good job. Trump understands this and plays it to the hilt

Quote
  • Toby: Who gives a damn, sir? This is a tax cut that benefits only 4500 families.
  • Bartlet: It doesn't matter if most voters don't benefit. They all believe that someday they will. That's the problem with the American dream: it makes everyone concerned for the day they're gonna be rich.

I call 'em as I see 'em.  They're unreachable -- there is zero chance they will budge -- I've written every one of them off.

What sucks about this is I know many otherwise good people in my community that are Trumpkins.  They’re just olds that watch nothing but Fox News and go to church.

In other words they’re brainwashed when it comes to national politics but are still positive  contributors in the community.

It’s really weird.  Before the election, if I said I openly supported Hillary Clinton, I might have been burn at the stake as a heretic...at the very least I would have been ostracized from some social and business circles.

It’s like I’m living in the “The Village”

Get her name right, she's sick.

I’m pretty our crazy uncle will stop tweeting conspiracies once he gets into office. Just wait for it.

That brother worked with Manafort and failed to disclose lobbying on behalf of foreign governments, which his former firm since amended their FARA registration about ECMU(Ukraine). I suspect he informed against Manafort to keep from being indicted? Anyway, Trump seems to be saying that he'll take down others on the Democratic party side that played the same game too. And I'm fine with that.

I’m not fine with Trump abusing his power to jail his political rivals.  That’s 3rd World warlord shit.

Let law enforcement enforce the law.  The president should work on moving the country forward instead of publicly settling petty political scores.

To clarify, I'm fine with him naming the names and letting law enforcement do their jobs. They already know about the Podesta brother, and if he is guily, they will indict unless they did a deal with him.

I disagree, that swing vote has switched sides a couple of times over the past several decades. They have been consistently pro-labor more than partisan all this time. I really do feel bad for these people because they are being manipulated with populist rhetoric.

Trump really seems to have a grasp on reality. Law enforcement should totally listen to him.

The RW cheats. I don't care how many rednecks they manipulate & exploit, they don't have the numbers unless they steal elections. Throw every powerful conservative criminal & propagandist in jail and or stain them as accomplices for the illicit seditious actions of the Trump administration, and let the rubes go off roading in dune buggies all they want.

Trump has consorted illegally with middle eastern terror states. If this message is sustained, this is the end of the GOP.

The official motto of this admin should be “tu quoque,” cuz it’s the main play they run.

10X the emphasis on “oh yeah, what about Hillary and Obama and Podesta” as there is on “I didn’t do anything wrong.” Even when he’s claiming innocence, he creates a narrow definition (the only possible crime is if Russia actually changed votes at Trump’s direction) of what he didn’t do.

And....40% buys it all, hook line and sinker. They are indeed deplorable, beyond saving, and an anchor around the neck of the Republic. Add in the folks who are willing to collaborate with them for personal gain in money or power....and we’re destined for the sea floor.

This Trump team is hellbent on preventing Hillary from winning a second term.

It would be really cool if Trump used his power to protect America instead of himself and his family.

We have a mob boss for a President. 60 million people voted for this asshole.

Is this the beginning of the end for Sessions and Rosenstein... and after that Mueller?  If Trump officially requests that they investigate and they refuse there's no way he doesn't fire them. He'll put in someone (read Rudy) who will get rid of Mueller.
