January 13, 20232 yr "Jimbo never offered." "Not SEC good." "Petrino was the plan all along." "We weren't willing to do something unethical to get him." "Don't care, got Jimbo." What other excuses am I missing?

January 13, 20232 yr Popular Post Is TexAgs bothered by the Riley news? Not. At. All. In fact, the SEC West is wide open next year!
January 13, 20232 yr They wanted Riley until they didn’t. The didn’t want Petrino until they did. It’s hard to believe that Reggie McNeil was better than VY and now Weigman is maybe even better than that. Looking like 15-0.

Aside from the standard "grr afraid of the SEC" nonsense, how about Weigman being their best QB ever when they had a transcendant, Heisman winning talent play for them in recent memory. With expectations like that, kid's going to get crucified for just being good.
January 13, 20232 yr Bonus for aggy: pretty good odds that the crime will be committed by an aggy player. “But *those* players portaled out.”/texags

It’s hard to believe that Reggie McNeil was better than VY and now Weigman is maybe even better than that. Looking like 15-0. You mean 19-0. They’ll win the NFC east or any damn division they choose and then get to wait until division playoff game!

And Haynes King was the missing piece once Mond graduated and would be a huge upgrade.

Seems like him just up and quitting Surly would be a bridge too far. If I'm thinking of the right guy, he moved from CS to the Raleigh area. Hopefully he just never looked back because the alternative, passing on after finally escaping from CS, would be too much to bear.

Yeah, he was really excited, apparently got a nice piece of land out in Saxapahaw. Maybe he just fully cut the cords and became a hill person. Edited January 13, 20232 yr by texifornia
January 13, 20232 yr Are he and RD not in San Juan Teneo? They should be, because we all need a warm place with no memory…

January 14, 20232 yr I like the logic of that one guy, “If our Oline improves, our offense will be better.” No shit, waterhead.
January 14, 20232 yr Seems like several former and current players are unhappy with the Tommie Robinson decision.

January 15, 20232 yr Had an experience tonight that I think encapsulates aggy pretty well. My wife and I went to the Texas Stars game and, at one point, the camera for the Jumbotron focused on a father in a maroon shirt with his three little kids for about 20 seconds. This dipshit decided the best reaction to this would be to throw the horns the whole time he was on the screen and force his poor children to do the same. I guess to own all them fancy Austin sips? Imagine being that big of a tool and displaying, to the world, how proud of it you are. Just pathetic. I hope those poor kids make it to adulthood without being too fucked up /CSB

January 17, 20232 yr Popular Post Ah, we’ve reached the stage at which they can finally start to acknowledge how good Bijan actually is, after a 3-year stretch of having to repeatedly remind each other about how overrated he was. This is an ag classic.
January 17, 20232 yr Who needs depth? 😂 aggys, players aren't coming because the shine is off your coach after 5 years of futility.

January 18, 20232 yr “I'm pretty sure his brother went to A&M and married an Aggie.” That’s your problem right there. His brother couldn’t be a good example, but at least he’s a good warning.
January 18, 20232 yr Popular Post It is both entertaining and hilarious to watch those mouthbreathers attempt to rationalize their ongoing failures in recruiting and the portal with the notion that Jimbo Fisher and their program are simply unwilling to break their moral standards that winning on those fronts would require. This coming on the heels of that cheating motherfucker buying the #1 recruiting class for 2022 without even having a DC on staff. Yeah, ol'Jimbo simply has too much integrity to stoop to tampering with players from other programs. Right. I've been saying it for more than a calendar year and now it is coming to fruition for all to see - Fisher viewed NIL as a joke and ignored the scope of the portal as it relates to NIL in the future. Good luck fixing it.
