Not insects.

Insects have 6 legs and three body segments.

The head, abdomen (where all their legs are located), and thorax.

While arthropods like insects, spiders are arachnids which also include scorpions and ticks. They have two body segments: the abdomen and cephalothorax as well as 8 legs.

Spiders are legit even if Jeff Daniels isn’t a fan.
However, they are no insect.

You didn’t happen to play a truck driver in the Die Hard movie with Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson did you?

Speaking of cool shit in the local Nearly New... Harper's library has (or used to have) a resale shop with some weird and also some damn fine stuff. Def worth a look, if you aren't in a hurry.

ETA Harper is on 290 about halfway between FBurg and I10.

I was

I was too. We were too busy jumping our bikes off this rad hill of dirt behind the Baptist church to do some dorky ass dancing crap.

And is that some ripped up linoleum from some mom’s kitchen?  I was raised country, but the movies seemed to suggest that breakdancers threw down cardboard not stylish discarded geometric plastic flooring.

That’s what I thought forever. He didn’t hit the brakes and he was shifting gears.

So he was speeding up when he hit.

I always wonder what the point of these is. Shit was cheaper 34 years ago? You don't say. Shit was also cheaper in 1957 than it was in 1991. Crazy.

But a 32" Sony WEGA 600 pound TV cost $1500 back then.

Should’ve known somebody would’ve beaten me to that

Tell me you have no idea how manual shift transmissions work without telling me you have no idea what "shifting gears" means...

Heh heh heh...I said "trans" and "missions"... like I know what the missions might be...

Ok, changing "when" to "and" makes sense.  That's been bugging me for 30 something years.
