  • This postseason has become more sentimental for me and my wife's family.  My father in law is the biggest Astros fan I know.  He watches every game without fail, even DVRing them if he can't watch liv

The McKKKenzie jersey the fans were wearing is a bit confusing.

I don’t understand why Diaz isn’t leading off. I thought when you played for a regular you had to hit in their spot?

Dubon hitting 7th and that’s actually the appropriate spot for him probably. Woof.
it’s Sunday before an off day where we lead the division by 12 games. Perfectly appropriate lineup, no complaints.
I bet we win.

Looks like I’m going to lose this bet and this lineup is as bad as it looked on paper. We’ve won a lot of games this year with suboptimal lineups.

If we can’t keep playing can we just head directly to the airport and forfeit and get home early for our off day?

If I have to see this fatass shave off his eyebrow one more time this beer bottle is going through my TV.

Yordan can't buy a break today

He’s gone from god to dog in recent games. Last 8 games before today (0/3) he’s slashing .172/.286/.207

God damnit Stanek.

Way too many balls

GIDP to end an inning has got to be my least favorite play in baseball when it happens to my team.

How am I so far ahead? It is the 9th.

I am a time traveler I guess.

Francona deserves to lose for pulling McKenzie

Yeah but today was just unlucky. Before today it had been strikeouts and groundouts, or at least if felt like that

On the bright side Montas is getting rocked by St. Louis

Everytime he slumps I'm going to wonder if his hand is bothering him like before the all-star break.

The team is definitely in a funk. The lineup wasn't the best today, but the entire team isn't hitting.

CF needs to get addressed. They can't keep running Meyers out there with no bat and a messed up arm.

CF is going to be Mayer and chas, they need to get shit done.

it’s the dog days of August, we split a series. Need to win the next two at home. Get through this.

This would be about the time in spring training when pitchers get a little bit of a dead arm, wouldn’t it?

He says he’s ready. He can stay at AAA for 13 more days ….

Major league pitchers are afforded a 30-day maximum on a minor league rehab assignment. McCullers’ first four starts have spanned 17 days, meaning there is room on his calendar for at least one more. Asked whether he expected to make another, McCullers made his stance clear.

“I don’t know. I don’t want to,” McCullers said after he departed the game. “Everyone has been great to me. I can’t say enough about the Sugar Land Space Cowboys. We have great guys in our Triple-A organization, and the coaching staff is amazing. But I feel like I’m healthy, and I want to get back and pitch with the Astros.”

Off says are generally the worst. I think this team needed one today though.

Get Tucker a whole case of immodium, assuming that he had the runs or food poisoning or whatever.

One of my friends in high school took immodium before every basketball game because he was paranoid about needing to take crap at some point during the game.

After those last two games, any kind of runs would be welcome.
