After the wild pitch, I assumed they'd throw a 3-2 pitch well off the plate to put Tucker on first and set up the RH-RH matchup. Glad they didn't.

Also Maldy is by far our most effective bunter.  He's the only one that ever does it.  Kind of surprised they didnt do it there.

Guys scored anyway...

Yeah, he usually gets them down when he tries.  He usually does it if there are runners on 1st and 2nd but he should be bunting pretty much anytime when a NL pitcher would have.

We straight up robbed the Mets.

Good thing we're resting yordan tonight. Why would we need another big bat in the lineup tonight? And Maldonado still sucks in RBI opportunities.

3 frustratingly weak ABs after the first two got on.

Lol. If you recall, Maldy lost quite a bit of weight in the off season and looked rather svelte (for him certainly) on opening day.  What the fuck does this guy do during the season when he is not striking out or letting passed balls go by?  Slam cheeseburgers and chocolate malts all day?  He is a true master of his craft.

Since Verlander and Maldy are so tight, does this mean Yanier won’t be catching him?

You've obviously never been in an MLB clubhouse.  It's a food orgy

Shit, now they gotta bitch handing out B-Vitamin’s on flights for “blood flow”.

Somewhere the 86’ Mets are laughing.

Correct.

The gear bulks him up

not trolling again, but he’s getting another year

Framber got rid of the Mardi Gras beads and is back to the diamonds and white gold.

it is working.

Abreu with the warning track power... although in any other park it's a lazy fly to not so deep left field

Walked 1, and got him on a double play. Still a no no through 5 for Framber!

Myers with his typical shitty at bat with runners on base

Most trades with the Cardinals.  I would have guessed Padres or Phillies.

Maldy with the hat trick. May he not get up again to insure avoiding the golden sombrero.

6 more runs tonight would be great.   That MUST be what you are talking about.

My thought was Philly....2nd

81 pitches.

7-8-9 due up

I’m here to jinx the no no.  Fuk the stros.  Go rangers

If Shohei Ohtani is the best player ever, why does he have only one shitty assed New Balance commercial? He probably has 75 in Japan.

Anyone know why those top corner seats on the 3rd base side are always completely empty?

you have no power here GIF

Jeez, Verlander really does make this pitching staff better.

Congrats to Framber...for doing what Maldonado said to do.

Oh man he hung that one. Worst pitch of the night to finish the no-hitter.

Awesome

Somebody call the Framber-lamps!!!
