She and Corey could debate each other in Swiss.

Try traveling a little more dude, there is no such language as Swiss.  You’re thinking of either Hollandanian or Denmarkian.  You see-the Nordic people include the Swiss, but not all Swedish are Scandinavian

Yesterday, a boomer Fox News trump supporter I know pulled a whataboutism on the Elizabeth Warren Native American thing and I pressed him on it.
I asked him why it was so important to him and he said “No one has any integrity anymore.  It’s about integrity.”
He then went on to rail against the democrats saying he would never vote for a democrat again.
I then asked him if he would vote for Trump if he was a democrat.
He said he would.
Me: “You know Trump was a Democrat right?”
Him: “Yes but we were all democrats before.”
He then worked himself into a frenzy about integrity.
I left it there and told him everything will be okay because I was worried I might induce him into a stroke.

That really is amazing. Democrat overstates heritage. We don’t even know if she was deliberately dishonest or not and that’s disqualifying for a Trump voter. I mean Trump has repeatedly violated any measure of integrity brazenly beyond any doubt.

I'm hoping for Yang

Bold. Educated. Think he understands one of the major problems in America. I don’t think he’s wrong. Like that he’s standing on his own two feet instead of taking someone else’s platform. I think the more people hear the more they will be listening. Hope he can handle the attention. Implementing his vision would be fought the whole way by the powers that be obv.

Oh, he assured me he knew she got several jobs through intentional deception regarding her heritage.  I disputed him on that and that's where it started to get nuts.

True. Trump's statements are more conflicting than the Rick James interview on the Chapelle Show.

Warren not afraid to go after Junior on twitter.

This is the part of Elizabeth Warren’s game that is under appreciated because she seems like a wonky librarian.

She embraces the trolling with statements like, “Trump might not even be a free person in 2020.”

This is great and I want to see more of it.  We need someone, preferably a woman, with the ability to stand on a stage next to Trump and completely clown him and expose him for the thin skinned unfunny know nothing dotard that he is.  I think Warren can do it.

I think it could happen. He's got a grasp on things that aren't even being discussed. While everyone else is arguing dumbass shit, we're going to be manhandled by the unseen.

We're being led by the past, and he's the only one really taking about a real future.

Great interview on Morning Joe in link below.  Really loved the short back and forth with Claire McCaskill at the 6:30 mark about intellectual curiosity.

Becoming more and more convinced that Buttigieg is the best antidote for Trumpism.

Same.  I'm about to jump on the Buttigieg bandwagon, such as it is.  The dude is smart and, from what I've seen, has a great presence:  calm, intelligent and thoughtful are words that come to mind.

There's your clear front runner.

Maybe.  But I don't think he really wants it.  Remember how everyone thought on the eve of Senator Fred Thompson's announcement "well, here we go -- front runner jumping in?"  That thing fizzled so damn fast, and all from the fact that he wasn't hungry and didn't really want to campaign.

Biden is old.  He's served his tours.  He'll serve if drafted, but I just don't think he has the energy or will to work for it.  And at his age and after his time, I wouldn't blame him.  Note: I'm not a huge Biden fan at all; he pissed me off like hell when he was in the Senate.  And I don't think he's what we need right now -- he's a comforting security blanket of "but remember how much we liked Obama?"  That's not the message we need.  That's backwards, not forwards.

Front runner in name only.

He will now have to put up his policy ideas and vision against a bunch of women, progressives and fresh faces.  Not sure polite centrist-y "not Trump" white man is going to cut it with the Democrats this year.  They want to win but they also want their ideas to win.

If Biden announces, social media will be inundated with the Creepy Joe videos and his campaign will be dead in the water within 24 hours. Let alone all the others issues that will be exposed from his 45 years in D.C.

Name recognition is literally the only reason he is polling high. He has way too much baggage for Dems to get on board.

Disagree - the overarching desire to replace Trump is more important than ideals. Biden is the most electable

He never planned to campaign.  And Senator Thompson doesn't take a dump without making a plan.

I think a lot of people will feel this way.  The surest way to a D presidency is Biden, if that is all the goal is.

Yup and if he gets Kamala Harris on the ticket as VP it would set her up nicely for a 2024 run. Don't see Joe wanting more than 1 term at his age

I think y’all are misreading the Democratic primary voters just like the Republican primary voters were misread in 2016.

The Trump correction will not be a safe play like Biden.

It’s going to be an emotional, make us feel good about ourselves candidate like Beto or a total opposite, hyper progressive like Warren.

Biden jumps in we’ll have 27 think pieces on his old senate votes and how they’re woefully out of touch and align more with Trump than Democratic policies from the Bernie Bros, 17 think pieces on his Creepy Joe persona, questioning of Anita Hill, and sexist gaffes from the Harris/Gillibrand/Klobuchar gangs, 11 pieces on his high speaker fees and his corporate masters from the Warren Wing, and 2 black twitter threads on how Uncle Joe is not Obama and quit trying to make Grandmaster Joe B happen.

Biden waited too late and there are already reams of opposition research waiting to be unleashed on him once he announces.

His old, white guyness is going to look very Ralph Northam up against the current field.

Creepy Joe? Did he ever brag about grabbing women by the pussy? Did he have affairs with porn stars and Playmates and pay them to keep them quiet? This is a new game and Biden's "gaffes" look positively tame in comparison to Trump's parade of sleazery.

I think Biden would stand up to Trump on the debate stage better than any of the other Democratic candidates. He's knowledgeable on all the issues and can discuss them clearly and coherently. He's experienced and has a better grasp on foreign policy than any of the other Dems in the race, not to mention Trump himself. I wouldn't be too quick to write him off. We'll just have to wait and see.

Are you under the impression this is a fair fight?

Those of you who think it's Biden...y'all do know who votes in Dem primaries, right?

Old white dude with a history of inappropriate behavior towards women (by the current standards), who basically told Anita Hill to fuck off, and is really tight with credit card companies and the financial sector is not the recipe for winning the Dem's nomination for President in 2020.

Yeah, are you under the impression that reublicsns and Dems operate under the same standards? Not even close.
Let’s remind you - the party of morality and family values is fine with porn-star fucking multiple adulterous affairs, multiple divorce pussy-grabbers, if it’s THEIR candidate....but if it’s a Dem, a picture of him mockingly reaching for boobs is a 100% disqualifier for any office. You need to grasp that standard, and know that it is going to be rigorously applied.
