Scumbag shit. Couldnt say people were surprised though…

Thats how people die.  In my world, both drivers would do some jailtime. In reality, if that is Rice driving the vette,  he'll pay some top dollar lawyer to get probation. Hopefully the league at least suspends his ass. If DPD is actively looking for Rice, you would think his lawyers/agent would make him available today. Booze should be out of  his system at least.

Posted it on the Ruggs thread, but I don’t give a fuck if these dipshits were hammered or stone cold sober, there should be mandatory jail time for this shit. How the fuck is this any different than randomly firing a .45 through a house as you drive by?

EDIT - Answering my own question, it’s worse - a bullet has a lower chance of finding a breathing stopping point, and the bullet is traveling so fast nobody has time to bang into the person next to them trying to get out of the way…

Evidently Rashee owns the Vette and leased the Lambo Urus which was totaled. So that’s another $250k - $350k he’ll owe since his State Farm Mahomes bundle likely won’t cover the claim. He’s fucked himself.

The Texas Hammer, that hello Ben dude, and Thomas j Henry have probably signed up all the victims.

He’s gonna catch some felonies for leaving the scene and failing to render aid. Guess he skipped those classes at SMU.

I would like him to go to a shitty TDC prison, get a lifetime ban from Gooddell, but Andy Reid and Hunt have the attorneys that know how to get these shitbirds off.

The Chiefs boards are eating up with Aggylike fans saying he left because he might get shot. That no one really got kilt. That he’s a kid that doesn’t know better. Fuck that team and their fucking fans

His attorney keeps saying he’s cooperating but DPD is saying they are still looking for his ass. He’s being harbored likely by some folks on his money train. What a fucking idiot.

He must have spent his rookie season hanging with supreme moron Kedarius Toney.

Not the best week for the chiefs, as weeks go.....

https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/chiefs-royals-to-expore-options-after-blowout-loss-on-sales-tax-vote-in-kansas-city/

Quote

If the sales tax had passed, the money would have been used to help pay for some major renovations at Arrowhead Stadium along with a new downtown stadium for the Kansas City Royals, but instead, the two teams will have to look elsewhere for financial help after the ballot measure was resoundingly shot down by a margin of 58.1% to 41.9%. According to KMBC.com, 78,352 people voted against the tax while only 56,606 voted for it.

Fuck giving these franchises and the  league billions of tax dollars to build/remodel stadiums. The NFL made $18 billion in revenue last year, and most of these owners are billionaires. Giving them handouts is fucking ridiculous. Cant pay for schools but we'll make sure the Clark Hunts of the world get a shiny new stadium to further assist them in making more money. I wish more cities would do this.

FDA approves rapid concussion blood test

Researchers have developed a test that they say can identify markers of a concussion within the blood stream at a 95 percent accuracy.

ZACH BARNETT      11 HOURS AGO

The Food and Drug Administration has approved a new test that can detect concussions accurately and rapidly.

Developed by a team led by Pittsburgh Steelers team neurosurgeon Dr. David Okonkwo, the test's manufacturer says it can rule out concussions with a 95.6 percent accuracy when assessed within 24 hours of injury. The test works by detecting two proteins, UCH-L1 and GFAP, released within the blood following a concussion.

Abbott, the test's manufacturer, believes it will be available for bedside use in hospitals by this summer. The next step will be for use on the battlefield and the sidelines.

“The nature of the studies performed to gain FDA clearance for these tests were done in patients brought to level one trauma centers,” Dr. Okonkwo told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. “We have every reason to believe there is significant overlap with the injuries to athletes who sustain a concussion, but we need to do studies specifically in that patient population to confirm that use.”

Dr. Okonkwo and his team are still refining the test, aiming to move from a needle-and-syringe blood draw to a finger-stick test.

The ultimate test for sideline utility will be just how rapid "rapid" truly means. If it takes hours to learn whether or not a player is concussed, this test will have limited utility on the sidelines. But if a concussion can be identified or ruled out within minutes? This test will be on every sideline sooner than later.

Denver trying to keep that mo going of QBs named Wilson…at least this flameout will come cheap…

whelp. looks like Penix and Nix are definitely either late firsts or second round picks now that Denver is probably looking at other positions.

Huh? Denver gave up next to nothing for Wilson. He’s not going to change their plans at QB.

Not a fan of jersey number retirements, but this moment was pretty awesome.

Incredible that he was able to effectively play CORNERBACK until the age of 42. Arguably one of the fastest, humblest, cleanest-living and professional athletes to play the game. Inarguably one of the best defensive backs ever.

And also a great Texan, to boot.

I too don’t like Jersey retirements but this one seemed way overdue. I hated he played for the Skins but I loved watching him play. Super fast, smart, and so graceful to watch in his play. Texas hero.

Was another team about to swoop in and offer him $50m x 4 years? Who would…Raiders? Giants, Steelers, or Dolphins a year from now if they ditch their current guys? Seems like the Lions were bidding against themselves and now will be house poor trying to remain competitive.
