Radar shows yellow and red passing over my house right now.  In reality, not a single drop.  It's missing just to the north and east.  Same as it ever was.

Not to rain on your parade. But you do understand those are radar estimated totals, and the light spot you speak of is due to the location of the KEWX radar location, correct?

Flight from SLC to ATX got diverted to San Antonio due to the weather at Austin airport. Nice little hour odd delay.

Ain’t no weather here

The euro model has a lot of rain over the next 10 days. The GFS shows something similar.

No surprise, but Tyler got a shit-ton of rain today and no tornados or derechos.

Looking at the radar, ain’t shit near me. Looking out the window, I can see some serious lightning, but there’s no thunder. This is weird

This line of storms currently stretches over a thousand miles from Round Rock to Chicago.  But we can't buy a drop in Austin proper.

And it’s still raining over Lake Buchanan. Also,KXAN needs to hire weather folks that know how to pronounce Burnet, Lake Buchanan and Tow.   Chikage on KEYE is lapping them.

These fucking clouds are spinning just north of my house. I live about 1 mile east of Ronald Reagan and Hwy 29

My office is right behind KEYE.  I enjoy the random encounter with Chikage.

She’s a big time Sooner fan.  Give her a “Boomer” shout out sometime.  Heh
