Is he also a punter, kicker, or long-snapper?

This builds on my prior point. OB is run by the dumbest motherfuckers in the realm of Texas sports.

I assume we are in the market for somebody cheap to be the backup center since we no longer love Cruz. Ive seen the Wyoming scrub and a UTSA scrub floated already

If we don’t get the Michigan Guard that I just found out about 7 mins ago I’m going to kill myself. For real this time.

Well first off, he’s a tackle.

want no part of the Nik Brooks IOL experience part two electric bugaloo.

I mean, he will undoubtedly get better than he was as a true freshman with little experience at guard. I understand not counting on him, but no reason to write him off.

The other Michigan guy, chief.

There are 2 Michigan O Linemam in portal.

Andrew Sprague - starting RT (on campus)

Jake Guarnera - started at RG in Citrus, also tje backup center

Key Details of Sprague's 2025 Performance:

  • Overall Grade: 69.4.

  • Snap Count: 740.

  • Improvement: He significantly improved his grade from 63.9 in 2024, demonstrating a major sophomore leap.

  • Recognition: Achieved Honorable Mention All-Big Ten status from coaches and media.

  • Role: Became a consistent anchor on the offensive line, especially protecting true freshman quarterback Bryce Underwood

The 6-foot-8, 315-pounder and former top-100 recruit finished 73rd out of 256 qualified FBS tackles in Pro Football Focus's pass-blocking grade, 95th in run-blocking grade and 72nd in overall grade.

I certainly take him. He would give Texas flexibility. I am not sure he is an upgrade over Baker, but the OL gets better with either of them sliding inside.

Secondly, there’s a guard and a tackle. I found out they existed 12 hours ago

Kind of surprised Michigan is having this exodus of good, young offensive lineman but not complaining if we get two.

You are surprised that offensive linemen are leaving Michigan? Have you tried Googling “Sherrone Moore in the news”?

This could potentially help me get over Malakai Lee

All I see are these

Schools to watch for the Minnesota Safety are Oregon, Indiana, tOSU, and Miami.

Take as many OL as you can since half of them will suck under Flood

His whole 2024 starting OL went to the NFL. Talent identification seems to be an issue, but he's got skins on the wall from a coaching POV.

Ohio State finished 2nd the first time for Perich. He’s an excellent player and I assume that OSU does what it takes to land him in order to replace Downs, even if that’s an impossible task. I would love for Texas to sign that guy.

I don't want him getting experience at guard. That is not his position.

I also wouldn't be crazy about moving Baker inside, which is what will happen if we sign the Michigan RT.

It's been a day, our initial targets literally landed in Austin last night. Give him some time to work today in between recruit photoshoots and strip club visits.

Do women still romance each other these days. I’m hearing genz doesn’t like to drink much but do they still cherish women’s romancing each other

Yes. Newport Beach has gone downhill

I wish it'd go downhill about 100 miles to the west

Guarnera is the prize of those two Michigan OL. Played RG for them this year due to injuries but is more naturally a center (was still damned good at guard though). Would give us some flexibility we are losing with Hutson's graduation.

Michigan sites saying Lee was very happy with the HC and OL hire..

The expectation is that Rutgers CB Bo Mascoe will visit Texas on Monday, sources tell On3.

Whit and the new OL coach aren’t exactly bums and Michigan isn’t lacking for money. I find it surprising, too. These seem like guys they’d be working hard to keep.

Some talk I've seen on the Michigan OT (Sprague) is that Missouri may be the favorite. Apparently they hired one of his coaches? Guess we'll see.

That new Oline coach is probably going to be working to strengthen the Polynesian ties in Ann Arbor

Moore was to the offensive line at Michigan what Sark is to QB’s at Texas. That’s his specialty and linemen chose Michigan because of Moore and his ability to develop. Then he proceeded to crash out like no other coach I have ever seen in my lifetime so yes I’m not surprised to see offensive linemen leave.

He's also from Missouri, so it's the close-to-home pick.

Those ties are about as strong as you can get for him. Utah had a nice pipeline there. Harding is considered one of the best OL coaches in the country

Getting a heavily Mormon population to move to Utah might have been an easier sell than Michigan.

Sprague + Guarnera and then go get the best true LG you can find. At that point if you want to gamble with Baker at RG you can reasonably afford to do so (since worst case if it fails Robertson starts at C next year and Guarnera plays RG).

Would be very happy with that outcome.

He would be an upgrade at C and is likely a future NFL center giving his lineage.

It’s a much harder sell, but just saying his reputation in the Pacific Islander population is about as strong as it gets.

Oh I'd fucking kill for Fraley to come here. Just haven't seen anything connecting us to him yet unfortunately.

Any schools been mentioned for him yet?

Are any of them hiring?
