I thought for sure she had gone down from a headshot and was disappointed that they only winged her

it would've been funnier if the vest caught it but she still broke a couple ribs and turned her ankle from falling.

plimpton in the field is lol.

really should’ve been the finale.

I thought the same thing. Maeve gets the cash, Jayson and Perry open up the duffel bag to find the ringer, aka Walter's dirty undies, "the whites." And scene. Fade to black.

But I guess they have to wrap up Ruffalo's relationship with his stepson. They're also going all the way with Grasso. The show is called "Task" so it's about the task force. Grasso is dirty. That needs to be resolved. I guess.

E6 thoughts. I’ll spoiler them for the Monday watch folks.

- Grasso had a chance at redemption. Chose to be the devil instead. The actor is so good we’re invested in him, and then he rips our guts out.

- The Bullseye patch after Lizzie died was rough. She was too good for this world.

- I don’t understand biker politics, but Jayson ignored a direct order from Perry and members of the gang died because of it. If that happened on The Sopranos, somebody is getting whacked in a hurry. But there’s Jayson and Perry later in the episode drying up some river trout.

- There’s gotta be tremendous heat on the entire club now. Looks like some shit is going to get handled in the next episode.

- So who did Robbie sell the china to? Logically it’s Shelly’s contact. She did give the money to Maeve. That said, it’s a stretch that Robbie outsmarted Freddie.

- The money + Robbie floating was a great twist.

- Ingelsby all but confirmed Season 2 in his interview on Prestige TV. It sounds like Ruffalo is already attached. I’m here for it, but I hope S1 was already in the can before Ingelsby came to this decision.

My first inclination was that Robbie cooked up the entire thing with Freddie. But I guess that probably doesn't play well for Freddie long-term to get sideways with the Dark Hearts -- unless this plan winds up taking down the entire MC organization.

This. I actually thought it was until I saw that there were previews. Thought it was an extremely satisfying ending as is. Hoping actual ending isn’t a let down.

They could've very easily ended the whole thing this week.

I feel like something is off with the math on this show-if you have the ability to move $1m worth of widgets that presumably command a big margin in the market, it would seem like the members of the motorcycle gang would have professionalized more than they have.

At least in The Wire we see they have financial and legal professionals backing them up.  Over here we got Perry and Jayson on their own trying to find $1m worth of fentanyl?  I’d have every member of the crew, their wives, kids and cousins scouring that river in scuba gear.

Didn't they say the street value of the fentanyl was $12M in fentanyl a few episodes back?

Doesn't Perry outrank Jayson?  Not saying that would prevent Jayson from going berserk if he knew what happened to Eryn, but especially since all the "Mothers" met and decided to kill Jayson anyway, it seems like maybe Perry ought to just bide his time.

Pretty sure Perry outranks Jayson but maybe he's pseudo-retired. I expect one of those two to kill the other.

He does. But they've established that Jayson can and will fly off the handle, especially when it comes to Eryn. I mean, he knew about her cheating, and as far as we can tell, he didn't do anything to her and still worships her.

We don't know what he did to punish her but I have to think it was something. Probably threatened her if she ever thought of leaving him, beat the shit out of her a few times -- maybe a lot of times.

Killing her lover wasn't punishment enough?
