gotta love how the cop that "cracked" the case 8 years later is still insisting that all the evidence the 4 arrested guys provided proved that they had to be there.... when we are literally shown the fucking confession tapes where the confessor is trying to give the detail of how the girls were tied up.

shoestring?   No come on now... you know better than that....

electrical cord?  come on man, give me a break

Napkins? [side note, lol] Napkins???? NO!!!

their clothes... SEE THERE YOU GO!!!! and if you used their clothes to tie them up... what did they look like.... [naked implied but not aired]

I have no idea if the potheads did it, but that confession should have been broken down by the defense over and over and over during the trial.

hey cops, how come you told the confessor when he was wrong on a detail and then told him when he was right.... you dont think that maybe you just fucking gave him details of the crime that maybe he didnt fucking know?

again this was a fucking clown show investigation led by idiots.

There's no way that a person(or people) that rapes and murders 4 teenage girls execution style is going to go the rest of their lives without committing more violent crimes. These dudes were just idiot potheads who had no history of violence. They did not seem like guys who were savvy enough to get away with something like this. This was a crime committed by someone who probably had experience doing it.

The police insistence that they had the right guys is fuckin shameful.

Agreed on all counts

As I’ve said before, the robbers were morons, but they were smart enough to start a fire and the flames/water was enough to destroy all physical evidence.

Am I missing anything? Jones said even if they found the gun it wouldn’t help because a revolver was used (no casings) and the slugs broke apart in the victims’ skulls.

IMO everything about this case points to a serial killer. Of the four victims there was one he had to have, and the others were just in his way.

He wasnt alone either. The two different calibres used tell us that.

Don't most serial killers act alone?

Most do work alone, but some don’t. One serial killer who consistently roped in accomplices was Kenneth Allen McDuff, who was in Austin at the time and abducted and murdered Colleen Reed at the car wash on West 5th street three weeks after the yogurt shop murders. McDuff was also a rapist who frequently bound his victims with their clothes.

He also confessed to the murders in 1998, but it’s possible that he was just trying to get his execution stayed. At any rate, he was executed and his DNA did not match what was recovered, although it could have been his accomplice.

She still does, but she used to, too.

Was the second caliber a semi auto on a revolver? Do they know?

She just sold her house. $23.5 M.  I could have pulled the trigger at 22.5, but 23.5 was just a bridge too far for me.

this was just as funny as the cool punk chick in last night's episode describing Robert Springsteen as creep and weird,  "the kind of guy who'd show you his dick in a parking lot."

lol.

Springsteen posts on Surly?
