Even if somehow arch woke up and started hitting wrs in stride

the play calling is what the fk.   It just doesn’t make any sense.

the O line is fucking awful.  Stroh isn’t even a waste of space because he can’t even take up space

DJ Campbell is a bust

so even if arch turns to Superman he has no protection and the play calls make no sense

no endries targeted??

whete are these young wrs 5 star studs that we heard about?  Can they not get a short tunnel screen or something

Maybe, but today had nothing to do with the play calling.

It had to do with both. The playcalling was braindead and Manning played like crap. Both can be and are true.

We ran the ball 56 times.  I can't get into Sark's head to know why, but we started the game basically hit 2 20-yard passes, then decided to run every play that wasn't 3rd and long after that.

Could have something to do with our thrower of the football.

I wonder how much of the play calling is being affected by the inability of Arch Manning to complete routine passes.

This isn't a knee-jerk reaction after a game we won, but Arch Manning, at this point in time, fucking sucks. He's abysmal. I have racked my brain over such a hyped QB who performed this poorly in their first 3 games and I cannot find one. He is. The absolute worst QB in college football at aa blue blood school.

If you had asked me last year how Arch would fare, j would have said he'll be great because he's had 3 years in system to learn the entire playbook. Turns out it isn't the playbook, but the player himself might be worse than a lot of FCS QBs, but Arch will get a chance because of his last name. This kid isn't waiting for his WR's to run  their routes, he's throwing too early before they're set. This isn't a route running issue, this is an Arch Manning throwing the ball too quickly before the receiver even turns his head.

We all bagged on the WR's for dropped balls, and some rightfully so, but around 90% of those are because they're trying to reach for a ball that was thrown too early or into the ground. I don't believe this kid can be fixed. He's a project if I've ever seen one. Sark needs to come to Jesus, look at himself in the mirror and admit to himself that Arch isn't the answer this year. Let Lacey and Owens battle it out and go from there. Our offense already looks like a shit Show, so we'll either get better or stay the same.

Yeah the regression arch played against shitty teams last year and looked all world. Against shitty teams this yr he’s shittier than they are

this defense will be one of the best we’ve ever seen.  Littleton will win a Thorpe before the nfl

I tend to agree, but I don't know shit about fuck.

Littleton may actually win 2 Thorpe awards. He's that good.

Well, actually, we found three. Gibson didn't fumble, Clark can catch, and Simon will be special. Dude takes hits, spins out, and grinds for yards.

Simon is a damn good back. Let’s see how long it takes us to coach it out of him

I think we go pure game manager here on out.  Keep it so ridiculously stupid.  Play possession and field position and see if this defense and our punting can get us to nine wins.

Glass half full, defense looks good.

Yep. Defense will take us to a winning record if we don't fuck them by turning the ball over and screwing around on offense.

We are not going to sacrifice Texas and the rest of the roster on a fucking lame duck QB because of his background.  Sark's job is to maximize the chances for title, not to his ego or to someone not up to standard.  Time for next QB and let's go win the natty.

We didn't execute in the run game either.  The defense knew exactly where we were going with the ball.  Sniffed out every reverse.  He needs outside voices and a shake up to his "system"

Sark should already know how to do this with his experience at Bama with McCarron

I actually do believe Chad Scott is a good RB coach, so he's not in the same league as Terry Joseph. If Joseph were still coaching here, we wouldn't hear a word about Littleton. He couldn't even teach our DB'S do look back for the ball. Akina and Orphey are the reason we're seeing a Prodigy going to work right now.

I think they can. Just use Arch as a battering ram until he proves he can hit 10 yard passes to wide open players.

KJ Lacey has passed him on the depth chart, and that's good, because he's tree better player. We should have seen him today.

I think you’re conflating RB and DB. I was talking about James Simon RB.

Sark it too fucking stubborn

Coach speak. You don’t want to say we suck, you’ll lose the team.

but it really doesn’t make sense. Arch no matter the opponent made these same throws he’s missing last year. It just doesn’t make sense.

Add this bullshit to the Sark's greatest hits.....defense came out in something we weren't prepared for....fucking pathetic.

So Sark can't adjust his offense when he sees a different Defense? Tf?

Refusing to throw until it's 3rd and long or 4th down (except for the first series) only exacerbates that issue by forcing your inaccurate passer to throw into tighter windows.

Lacey isn’t ahead of Baxter on the RB depth chart
