Or people from the NFL. It's someone The Athletic trusts as an authoritative source. Probably more than one. Doesn't have to be solely the family or a school official.

Not sure why an nfl would would leak this unless it’s a FO who is undermining the GM. Which fair, happens often.

I'm not sure why a family member or a school official would leak it, but someone did. Maybe they have an ax to grind. Maybe they're doing a quid pro quo type of deal regarding information that's not valuable to them but might be to Russini. Maybe they perceive it creates an atmosphere advantageous to their agenda. Who knows? I just felt like you were limiting potential sources unnecessarily.

Would be interested to see how CDC handles this situation

If lose today, CDC should make Sark walk home to Austin.

This tells us he’s checked out and why we see shit on the field this season.

Hire someone new ASAP and try to save our recruiting class.

I don’t think the NFL stuff is what most are questioning as legitimate

I understand. It doesn’t make a shit to me if people believe it or not. In other words, I know what I know to be true. But I’m not here to beat people over the head with it if they don’t trust it or don’t want to believe it. People should believe whatever they want. I happen to know stuff—so what. At the end of the day, the Athletic tweeting  this about Sark gave a couple of people the opportunity to talk about what has been going on the past 19 or so months, plus. It gave cover. So to speak. So we were trying to fill in the blanks for people.

some will continue to push the asinine “the Mannings are doing this bc of arch” as though they are (not true) or would do that (still nope) and sark is not free to bench him because he is a manning. Not true, none of that, Yes sark is free to bench him. And call the same ShitFuck plays with Caldwell who is similar to Arch, in that he’s mobile. And sark would rather try to make a non-mobile QB do mobile things when it suits him, not work with a mobile QB to maximize their strengths,

It’s not like Sark has worked with Caldwell all that much in the offseason either. The offseason sucked, sark’s approach to it sucks, his whole side of the ball has been awful save a few bright spots and he’s in control of all the entire offense and its staff and who he uses as QB. Period. Blaming arch is like blaming a deck chair on the titanic.

Regardless of the merit of the athletic story, he needs to go. He’s a loser deep to his core and this team will never advance beyond what it is right now with him at the helm. Just rip the bandaid off and get him out

Freeman has it easy. ND can lose 2 and even 3 games a year, no conference CC game and make the playoffs. Recruiting has picked up. Seriously, why would he come to this pressure-cooker?

ND has not and will not make the playoff with 3 losses.  They'll make it anytime they have 2 but so will Texas.

So what do you blame Sark for then?

Sucking. But if I were him, I look at having to deal with the Arch situation for another couple years or getting out while my stock is possibly at it highest, the latter becomes appealing. It could be best for everyone.

Jeff Lebby has done an awesome job despite the portal working against him. He’s beating us with players we casted off. I had a feeling this was going to happen today.

Has anyone made the Neto connection yet?  It’s the only explanation for Stroh continuing to trot out there.

Or maybe Stroh said, "Start me or you'll spend the next 18 years eating my chocolate ginger snaps"

You’ve had one steaming hot shitty take after another today. Your ability to upstage your previous shitty takes with an even more absurd retardation of a thought is truly remarkable. If I didn’t know better, I’d call you a Helobious sock. Don’t worry responding, your dumbass is going on ignore.

Please feel free to put me on ignore. I’m sorry you were wrong about your football opinion on Lebby. Apparently being right about that meant a lot to you.

If he wants out I’d prefer he leave. Firing him is costly. Unless for cause/violates something in his contract. The thing is the Athletic post opened the floodgates. A lot of people have known a lot of shit and kept it silent for the good of the program. So to speak. 🗣️

When your head coach is absent for 30 days and misses Junior Day and is like a cardboard cutout or a hologram for the bulk of the offseason, jettisons the spring game and most spring anything and determines it’s a good idea to implement NFL prostyle practices (which have failed at any college program they have been utilized at) and which a friend of mine a former NFL WR said was asinine, decides to have light no contact practices does not address glaringly dangerous issues with the OLine and appears to have barely worked with either QB and his previous QB regressed and dropped to the 7th round in the draft and the playcalling sucks and he also seems not to watch tape during the week what would you call that?

A number of fireable offenses.

Not saying that it’s automatic but the committee would pick a 3 loss ND over a 2 loss ACC and Big 12 team most of the time. Especially if ND had their losses early on to better teams. Don’t forget the media likes to suck off ND.

Absolutely. Even more reason to get away from it. I don't think it's going to get better, so get out while you can. It's shitty and frankly pretty weak, but humans are human.

I call it a run-on sentence.

∴If it weren't for Arch, we'd be undefeated, scoring 40 a game, and Loreal is a paragon of chastity.

Our defense is just going to have to score I guess. Being in the red zone means nada to Texas with sark as play caller. Now he’s picking his nose. 👃 like I just saw him digging damn.

why doesn’t he sit with the QBs and talk to them about what they are seeing? He’s not coaching our defense. And barely seems to pay attention when they are busting their asses on the field for 3/4 of the game.
