Sark makes millions of dollars - he doesn't need sunshine boys stanning for him at every turn.  On noes, someone said something bad about Sark on the internet - can't have that. Especially on a message board where people talk about sports.

He and his coaches have taken us several steps back in terms of roster management and development this past year.  So forgive me if I'm a little skeptical of the ole "we got this" routine.

Fix it!

I’m not stanning for sark, I’m calling your illogical pussy rubbing out. Sark fucked this season up, that’s a fact. Changes are coming, that’s a fact. Your self set timeline for when those should occur is retarded.

i thought he was more consistent than wingo for the first 10 games of the season, but thats based on anecdotes not stats

first half of the season was BLEAK at wr outside livingstone until mosley came back

Still doubting DeAndre Moore Jr. returns on the 2026 Texas Roster...

Alotta smoke out that Moore might be headed to the portal.

NFL ???    Still might back off NFL plan and go the portal route.

Currently dealing with a toe injury -- If he forces this NFL path for 2026, he might end up undrafted.

Don’t forget his game breaking lack of situational awareness and poor leadership. Dude was always just dancing and goofing around between snaps.

Agreed, we just saw for a decade what happens when laziness and roster mismanagement happens. In particular OLine and Linebacker recruiting was terrible.

The good news in my opinion is I look at these players leaving as a good thing. I think this year woke. Sark up and he's going to hit the portal and told the half ass'rs to hit the bricks and find a new home s somewhere else.

It turns out when you're an incredibly negative beating to read all of the time, people tune you out even when you have a point.

I always wonder what makes kids try to go pro a year too soon?  Who is in their ear telling them a pretty decent season in college, is what NFL scouts have a difficult time finding?  Did Moore make some clutch catches this year?  Yep sure did.  But Enough to make real bank in the NFL? Probably not, unfortunately.  Then I think about two things. 1) Moore is already getting a decent check at Texas. 2) A season with a more seasoned QB a nd another year of development might get top NFL money, (If you can ball out like an NFL player in college)

With NIL I understand less and less jumping a year too soon.  And truly wonder which Uncle, mom, brother, sister, cousin, girlfriend, mistress, wife, MIL, SIL, BIL thinks they can get some of your NFL money, who is advising you on jumping to the NFL?

I bet some of the motivation is more focus on football and more practice time.

He talked the talk but never really walked the walk.

I think about Whittington putting in years of work without it really showing up in his stat lines - he was always out there blocking, picking up short, hard yards when we needed them, keeping everyone focused on the sidelines, all while only catching 1 TD in 2022 and 1 more in 2023. Barely cracked 1000 yards between those two seasons. But you knew that Whittington was a core component of that offense. It was on big plays, like the FF off the pick against TCU in '23, but more so it was the little plays every game.

I didn't see anything like that from Moore. He had good press conferences and I'm sure he said the right things to the staff, but you did not see him put in the work like Whittington.

Moore threatened to transfer near the end of the portal window last year and leveraged a pay bump.  He then proceeded to change and turn into a diva and turned in a season that fell short of expectations.  What makes you think he’d get the same money from Texas this year?  Moore is exactly the kind of guy who needs to be pushed out of the program - whether transferring to another school or going to the NFL.

It is good that players can get paid now.  But money can and does change people.  It is hard enough to figure out how the money affects players in the NFL - guys who are professionals and older.  It is much harder to figure out who can and can’t handle it when the players are teenagers, many of whom have friends/families in their ears without their best longterm interests in mind.

Sark has talked a lot about how Texas doesn't lead with NIL in recruiting and how they try to ID guys who love football, because those guys are more likely to develop and not be changed by the money.  If that is true, and it is an ongoing learning process for any program, then (in my view anyway) it is a sign of health to say no to established players who thinking they are worth more than they actually are.  Texas would have been better served saying no to Moore last year, and I’m hopeful that lessons are being learned.

Whittington was a true team guy.  Moore was a guy who figured out it was good for business to be perceived as a team guy.

People forget how horrid our offense was until Deandre Moore returned and started bailing Arch out on drives.

He catches nearly everything, plays very smooth, and keeps the chains moving. I don't give a shit what he's like off the football field. He was the glue guy when we needed it most this season.

User name checks out.

And since he's such a great player, where do you see him in the draft? I'll take the under.

Moore is definitely not day 1 pick but should go late on day 2 or early on day 3.

Everything you’re saying is wrong. To the extent I have no idea who or what you’re talking about, and I’m not sure you do either.

Returned from what? He played in every game except UTEP this season. What are you talking about?

He's thinking about Mosley because that's the only way his post makes any sense.
