Caleb Williams dropped his nuts and grew up in that 2nd half, mainly the 4th qtr. That 4th and 8 play when down 28-16, when he scrambled to his left and threw on the run and dropped a dime to Odunze to extend the game, was a thing of beauty.

I watched none of this game and maybe three minutes of the NFL this year on accident. Can someone explain how Williams can consistently be so mediocre for most of the game and then morph into vintage Tom Brady for about 15 minutes?

Also how much are the Bears going to pay for this kind of QB? 60 million a season since one quarter is better than the zero quarters they normally get from the position?

2nd year QB setting franchise records and winning a playoff game after more than a decade. paired with rookie head coach with a reputation for being an offensive guru. you don't think there is potential to continue to improve? besides, he is still on his rookie contract

The results are what they are. He’s the probably the best QB in franchise history already which says something about the Bears. Williams has been the best fourth quarterback in the NFL this season.

Taking a quick look at McMahon's Chicago stats, their numbers are pretty comparable as far as accuracy, both around 58%. McMahon threw a LOT of interceptions, though.

I don’t believe that it is sustainable to be bad for three quarters each week. I think his coach is a good one, but I also know his backside is redder than the reddest aggy. Those two things don’t mix well in a coach-QB relationship.

He was never the same after that body slam from the Greenbay DLineman. I didn’t know till years later (well I was too young) how many NCAA passing records McMahon had at the time.

I'm seeing that. He's got skills though. Another Miss St. overachiever

Wrongly thought at halftime there was no way the Bears could win. They proved me wrong again. They have more life’s than a charmed cat.

QB is a premium position. Caleb is going to get a massive bag and he deserves it, frankly.

There's unlimited money in the NFL. The cap goes up like clockwork. If you're the Bears you pay him and it's a no brainer.

Golden’s score again.

Broke 6 tackles to get into the end zone. What a stud.

Love should have been looking for him more on their last drive. You've just got get it close to him and he's making the catch. I don't think the Packers appreciate how good his hands are.

I turned the game off after the Golden TD. That was one hell of a play.

Was surprised at the result this morning, for sure. I keep writing off Caleb Williams, and there goes that man again. It's truly a great thing about sports, IMHO.

Coaches with solid leads not understanding that the clock is their biggest enemy in the second half continues to blow my mind. The packers had 3 sub 90 second game clock drives in the second half, including an 8 play drive on the missed field goal.

Epic collapse by Green Bay, coaches fucked up bad in several facets but players did their part too. All around complete implode.

La Fluer was on Falcons for 28-3, and now this. WOOF

Thanks, Bears. Saved Dallas about the equivalent of a third round pick by staying at 20 in the first round.

Love is vastly overrated, good, but not close to elite. Caleb is volatile, will shit the bed and make up for it later, or vice-versa. I don't see him really being a long term star, but will always be dangerous.

There's a lot of Baker Mayfield up and down in Caleb's game....wonder why.
