Well, see, he's a fascist.  It's kind of their thing.  Claim they are the bulwark in favor of democracy, free speech, and liberty....while they mount the most effective attack on all of those things we've ever seen in this country.  It's kinda their thing.

Kinda like how "libertarians" are the exact opposite of what they claim to be.

I think large scale immigration from Muslim countries is a big mistake. They do not share western values of tolerance, free speech, individual liberty and generally don't seem to assimilate much to the countries they join.

At MD Anderson I'd say 10 to 15% of the employees here, doctors nurses and such, are of the islamic faith. I saw two ladies in burkas with hospital id's. Probably ISIS in disguise according to your racist views.

No, see, those folks are incompatible with western society.

These people?

Well, they're the bedrock of good Western society.

I'd rather deal with muslim immigrants than my own countrymen who want to end our Republic from within.  Burn in hell.

You should move to Europe. Really get the full experience. They're ahead of us on the timeline.

Actually, can you name one Muslim governed country where you would move yourself and the women in your family? You should try there. I'm guessing you can't. Because they don't have the same values as us. It's ok to say that.

I'm merely a person with a vote.

Are you unaware that naturalization and citizenship requires an oath. This isn't a new concept.

Where did I say they're terrorists?

Of course there are good people from these places, but large scale migration from them causes a lot instability and it's not just because of mean white people.

Do you think in a Muslim country she would be allowed to act like that?

Imagine thinking that Christofascism is the solution to Islamofascism.

Well, you don't have to imagine it, we're living it.  And we'll get to go to war with Venezuela to prove the might of our God King and his Christian ways soon enough.  Yes, I remember that part of the Gospels, where Jesus said "Attack Venezuela to distract from the fact that you are a child rapist.  Yea, verily, this is the way."  Man.  Give me more of those awesome western Christian values!

There’s nothing fascist about practicing discernment on who gets to join your country and society.

Y’all are obsessed with calling him a child rapist. That is new to me, but I respect the passion.

You never answered my question about which Muslim governed country you’d move to with you wife and kids?

Crowdsource this fucker (a second time -- he just got crowdsourced and created a new handle) and be done with it.

It’s ok. I’ll leave.

But you should stop and think why you don’t have an answer to my straightforward question. I know why, but maybe you can figure it out.

I don't want to live in ANY fascist country.

That's why I want to keep you and your ilk from turning my country into one of them.

But for the people around here other than you, I'd likely be quite happy living in Indonesia.  What's that, it's literally the largest muslim country in the world?  Huh.  Would ya look at that.  Probably woulda been happy in Turkiye some years ago, but wadda ya know, a right wing authoritarian piece of shit took it over.  The very thing that's happening right here.

And our piece of shit is going to start a war with Venezuela to distract from what a giant piece of shit he is.

Speaking of Latin America, there were a couple of nice articles in the Times today about Peru's march to the right and how that can work in Latin America.

Meet ‘Porky,’ Lima’s Right-Wing Mayor Embracing the MAGA Movement - The New York Times

How the Right Uses Charlie Kirk’s Death to Further Their Policies - The New York Times

Nationalism, free shit, and "change" works just about anywhere.

Some good quotes:

Quote

Many others were more confused. “Who’s Charlie Kirk?” asked Milagros Garcia, 56, sitting on the grass with a plate of chicken on Saturday at the Charlie Kirk memorial in Lima.

Quote

Mr. López Aliaga pushed ahead anyway. On the eve of the event, he predicted 30,000 to 40,000 attendees. When asked about rumors that the city would bus people in, he denied it. “It has to be organic,” he said.
The next morning, the streets around the park were lined with buses emptying passengers from as many as four hours away. Three bus drivers said the city paid them; two others said they were paid but were unsure by whom. Some buses distributed lunches.
...
Reached by phone the next day, Mr. López Aliaga said he had no idea where the buses came from. “I have three or four events a day, all right? For me to go into detail about how people organize themselves, that’s not my role,” he said.
“Imagine asking the mayor of New York how people mobilized,” he added. “Have a little more respect.”

Quote

Carlos Flores, a motorcycle taxi driver, said he took a bus to the park with his wife and two children after hearing about it at a soup kitchen. “It’s an outing for the children,” he said.
When asked about Mr. Kirk, he gave a bewildered look. “We live far away and there’s not much communication there,” he said.

Quote

Lima's Mayor: “The left is not the party of love. It is the party of hatred. It is the party of class struggle. It is the party of envy,” he said. “We have to realize that we are under attack, just like in the United States.”
He concluded by presenting an honorary diploma from the city of Lima for Mr. Kirk to the only American onstage: Martin De Luca, the mayor’s Miami-based lawyer in the toll roads case.

Like always Latin America will have diverse set of views on their relationship with the United States. There will be those that see us as the enemy that must be removed from the region and there will be those that line up to try to get on our good side and get a piece of the pie. There will be anything and everything in between too.

Keep saying that in this thread, and you might eventually be right.

One of Trump’s biggest strengths wrt foreign policy is his perceived unpredictability. This move could be the equivalent of storming out of a business negotiation to create some urgency in the other party when you have the leverage. Or I guess he could green light an operation. I’m leaning towards no, but yall can go wild speculating on the horrible things that are going to happen.

Do you know who storms out of business negotiations to create a sense of urgency?  Morons with bad negotiating skills.  I do tend to agree that this will all amount to nothing, but mostly because most Americans don't give a shit one way or the other.   He's not going to do anything if he thinks no one will pay attention.

Depends on the level of the discernment, because fascism is that just on an extreme level.
