NFC Championship: Rams @ Saints

I don't see how the FG is a bad decision. The Saints offense hasn't impressed a lot this game, and the Rams' defense is stopping them. They probably get the ball back.
Because all they need is a FG. You aren't keeping that offense down all game. You have one yard to take a 4 point lead. But you settle for a FG?

If you are so confident the Rams stop them on defense, then why not go for it and if you miss it, they are 99 yards away.

The Buckeyes got off to a fast start when receiver Ted Ginn Jr. returned the opening kickoff 93 yards for a touchdown, giving Ohio State a 7–0 lead only 16 seconds into the game. During the celebration following the return, Ginn was injured and would miss the remainder of the game.

Seems like ages ago.  2007.
