Houston fan in me is thinking they are going down in 5 games to the rays.

The PTSD from so many years never completly goes away, does it?

Some people just aren't cut out for baseball.  They still like to post though.

We can all thank Wade Miley for this shit.

Have you ever posted anything positive in this thread?

Nope. Learned over 40+ years not to get hopes up.

It’s mind-bottling.  It’s like they haven’t watched this team over the past three years.

Love to see a memorial day comeback

Or how about twice in Game 5 when they came back from three run deficits.

We’re going to win this series. The problem is that it will screw up the rotation for the ALCS

2017 wiped it all away for me. That will last for years.

So you want them to score 5 more runs?

Cole will still start 2 games and Verlander will still start 2 games.  How screwed up can it be?

I still haven’t recovered from Mets 1986 series.

I fucked your mother last night.

We said screw it this weekend and bought tickets through stubhub.  It was more expensive, but at least we got good seats for 4 of us.

What else did you do for "the four of us"?

It’s all just colorful history now.  We have a banner.

This was my fear with the Rays from the beginning and why I wanted the A’s instead

Maybe, but I think Cole is less likely to implode in a do or die game 5 than higher home run risk rested JV.  So the gamble may still pay off for the series.

Feels like the 2017 playoffs, with ups and down and the outcome never assured until late WS game 7.

Good point. I think I’d rather have Cole than JV too in a must win game.

Pull him skip

Do you pull him hoping he can still possibly pitch maybe 1 relief inning (only if needed) on Thursday if Astros lose tonight.

Or.... Do you hang in there with him, maybe all he gives up is at most another run or 2, chews up 5+ innings tonight and saves rest of Astro arms?

1980 Phillies series before that.

Our offense has sucked shit through a straw since game 1. No clutch hitting at all.

1 inning isn't worth much when you aren't sure how good that 1 will be because his routine is all screwed up now.

This camera angle sucks and this stadium sucks

You could probably get nosebleed seats for five bucks though

All because that bastard ump robbed Knepper of that strikeout in the 9th of game 6.  And illegally let Wally Backman run out of the baseline to avoid Glenn Davis's tag in game 3 in New York.

But I'm not bitter or anything....

Well, shit that wasn't ideal.  BABIP hasn't been kind through 1.5.

My man.

That one pitch out was nice.

Methinks the dipshit doth protest too much about this missing the ball on purpose story.
