CHIEF replied to UTPhil2006's topic in Business and Markets
I have a client that has been wanting a house under $500k, with a pool and at least 2300 sqft. One came up, in our neighborhood today for $430k, decent pool but the guy was a widower and the house needs at least $100k worth of remodeling, no sprinkler, yard is just weeds. The lot is probably a little less than a quarter acre. Truly an eyesore on the inside. Home prices are just ludicrous. That is $10k more than the 4500 sqft. custom built hunting lodge that my parents bought in 1981, and the lodge happened to come with 420 acres. The median home price has doubled since 2019. CHIEF -

For starters. And for the Hackensack Bulls to play a three-game exhibition game with the New York Yankees while you're at it, I guess.

I feel like you guys are talking in circles. Maybe there’s confusion and we just need a reset. Republicans have stated either they can’t release information, or there’s no information to release. For example, today some Florida judge rejected the release of some information. We all believe this is bullshit. The files are there. They just aren’t releasing it and people are pissed. However, some Republicans are pointing out that Biden had several years to release information and didn’t either. Why is it ok for Biden to have sat on it but not Trump? In other words, shouldn’t both be catching hell for sitting on it? Wildcat’s answer to this makes no sense. If your rationale is that Biden shouldn’t have released information because people in DoJ wouldn’t allow it, then just because Trump is interfering with the DoJ doesn’t mean he should violate DoJ reasons for not releasing it. My question is, what specifically has changed that is a valid legal reason for releasing the files? Seems like Biden screwed up too. That’s what I’m trying to understand.

Elon Musk: Nazi traitor piece of shit [Confirmed]

This is really nothing new. There have always been technocrats that think they ought to run the world and their technologies offer the solutions to mans ills. And they are usually completely full of arrogance and shit. I say always, I guess it's really been since the industrial revolution. -
To be fair, he watches the Cowboys practice. I’m sure we look amazing in comparison. Especially at QB.

Yeah, the cable car prices were insane. Question for Texasdago. We are discussing Umbria and Puglia next. Puglia looks incredible. Any insight? It may be a few years because we are also discussing Asturias and Galicia in northwestern Spain with some Portugal mixed in.

Probably pretty fuckin significant because he’d need a team of 6000 scouts to compete with our current roster building by identifying under recruited three stars.

Grandy's was a great change of pace fried chicken joint. I used to stop at the one in Austin back in the day on my semi-frequent trips, back when I-35 wasn't nearly the torturous beatdown it is today.
