Negative Recruiting Your Own School: The aggy Screenshot Megathread

I'm waiting for a texags partnership with Josh Pate's brand. They are uncomfortably close. -

Your recommendations never fail. We ate at Agua Azul twice on our last trip. Have to get there early in the evening to secure a table for the views / by the windows but it's well worth it. Mangata off the beaten path but really good and, as you say, a different twist. Cafe Milagro doesn't have the view but the little garden dining area is really nice and the coffee is great and the food is so fresh. Always appreciate your insights.

General Gaming Thoughts That Don't Deserve Their Own Thread
Hozz replied to atomheartbevo's topic in Video Games
lol I believed you. I think though, just looking at your screenshot, you're pretty clearly just a fairly hardcore PC gamer. I still think most 'Warhammer' fans aren't fans of the entire Warhammer universe as it spans...what at least three giant sets of lore (that I know of), Age of Sigmar, Horus Heresy, and 40k. They are more likely fans of one of those, or maybe two, and don't crossover often, if ever, into the other spheres. 40K being the big one, which has a lot of ties to HH, lore wise anyway. As far as video games, it seems the bulk of them are set in 40K, and even then I don't think 40k fans go out of their way to buy and play every 40K video game. -
Sounds like a shitty company

Mine too. Last night, crushed some fresh mint with simple syrup - then half rum/half lime mineral water. Might need to keep that around for post lawn care days.

Elon Musk: Nazi traitor piece of shit [Confirmed]
atomheartbevo replied to MaybeACoordinator's topic in Daily Texan
And Musk is the kind of guy who decides he needs to jerk off, excuses himself, goes in the bathroom, turns on the exhaust fan, stands at the sink, pulls out his phone, pulls up his favorite spank material in whatever notes app he uses, and starts doing the deed. Based on his personality, you would think he's the type of guy would open the mirror or put a towel over it so he doesn't see himself, but sometimes he might forget, and then he catches a glimpse of himself in the mirror jerking it, freezes up, and loses whatever erection he had. He's not like the rest of us who, if we caught a glimpse of ourselves in the mirror, would quietly look ourselves in the face and say "are we going to do this" "fuck yeah we're going to do this" and continue on with our business. -

This is just another example of how absolutely stupid his cult is. I don't think cognitive dissonance will even set in. They'll be like, "eh, Ok it's Obama's fault", move on, and try to get him on the ballet and vote for him again in 2026. He has half of Congress sucking the same dick he fucked little girls with. Fuck the whole lot of them. -
https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/45762942/chiefs-rashee-rice-sentenced-30-days-jail-sources-say Will be interesting to see what the NFL does now. I'll guess a 4 game suspension, though if it were up to me, I'd go longer. That was some stupid bullshit and the fleeing the scene afterwards is even worse. Could have easily been a Ruggs-like situation, and he's damn lucky it wasn't.

Your whole post was excellent but it led to a thought-as an OIF veteran, if we ran an op with 700 Marines involved and a had 27 KIA’s, heads would most certainly roll. And that’s in a theater where casualties would be expected.

I did a reverse image search and an independent one; and couldn’t find the second image.
-
I would assume that's why Texas One is staying independent? Or at least a large driver of that? So that if/when everyone says "just kidding- the collectives can still pay whatever they want to on top of the school revenue share" we will have fully established that UT kicks in 20M for student athlete salaries and the collectives drive the number higher so we can get all the 5 stars that Tech or Baylor won't deign to sign?
-
I'm aware of the complaints about wanting to sign Madueke, but I have not been following close enough to understand what the actual beef is. Aside from "some people just have to complain about everything," what's the main concern?
-
I'll aim for an orderly.

That little stretch of Manuel Antonio has a lot of really good places to eat. Agua Azul around the corner is probably our favorite and also has a great view. Cafe Milagro across the street has no view but great coffee and food. Just down the road Victoria’s is good and a half mile further back towards Quepos are Mangata and Quepoa. In fact we are headed to Mangata today and it’s our current favorite place to eat. Peruvian food with a Tico twist. We are spending about 6 months a year down here and starting next year it will be around 8 months a year. If it wasn’t for football season and family in Texas and the heavy rains in the fall here we would probably live here year round.

He was on SEC this morning and they mentioned him at the bar at midnight so good for him!

At least Crane’s signings were in an attempt to win. McLane tolerated mediocrity and that, in my opinion, is the absolute worst kind of ownership. After 2005 I don’t think McLane cared about anything besides making money. And I will forever hate him for surrendering every competitive advantage available within the rules at the time purely on the basis of “Bud doesn’t like us to do that.” On a more personal level, I once met a lady who secretaried for McLane for 20 years and apparently he’ll squeeze a nickel so hard it cries for mercy. She had to keep accountability for stamps, envelopes, couldn’t replace pens unless a previous pen was out of ink, etc.
