    LBGTQ

Are you referring to you dressing up like Elmer Fudd and your wife dressing like Bugs Bunny when you have marital relations . . . . and was I not supposed to share that with the group?
  3. This. This team is a mess.
  4. A hallmark of Trump's first term was that Trump would announce something idiotic, people would fall over themselves explaining why this idiotic idea was actually was not stupid and was part of some grand plan, and then the idiotic idea would be quietly sidelined. I guess the difference this time is that the stupid plan gets implemented. But stooges continue to try to build this lie that they are not idiotic.
  5. Tanner grew up and took over Buttermaker's pool cleaning business and was banging lonely Valley wives., Ogilvie was his CPA.
  6. Agree on Jorginho, I would love to have a version of him on every team. Kai is a bit of a mixed bag for me, some of that has to do with his price tag/wages. He was brought in to be an 8, he was not good at it. They moved him to 9 out of necessity, and he was good and sometimes really good there. I don't think he is a good enough starting 9 to win the league, unless there are massive upgrades at LW. At 30-40 million, this is fine; at 70, not so much.
  7. Yes, she opened for them. They didn't play together though.
  8. I meant in his closer role.
  9. Cripples with nuclear weapons. If it weren't for the nuclear part, most of the world wouldn't give a shit. Well, Apple would because of the Iphone. Modern day conveniences are important!

  11. Jesus Christ. We're doomed.
  12. ESPN clearly does not value the FCS games that all but one SEC team plays. They're all relegated to dogshit channels and times, if not only on something like ESPN+. They leaked their range. I'm sure this could clear at $100M with caveats about the FCS games going away or limited to X times per every Y years or something. Fixing that also removes an annual cost for every program to host one of those dogshit programs. You don't have to pay an additional SEC team to create a home and home each cycle. There is a zero percent chance that losing one home game, often the most poorly attended, every other season, is equal to or greater than in value to the additional $6.25M-ish each year, plus improved attendance and concessions every other year for that extra home game. The bounty of $6.25M + $.5M (additional ticket sales, sponsorships and concessions) + $1-$3M in not paying for the FCS game = $7.75M-$9.75M in new annual money seems like a no brainer, even for the biggest SEC pussies.
  13. i spent a lot of time working in mississippi in my 20's and really enjoyed this. well researched and still a pretty easy read. read it before it's banned. /no cr
  14. I laughed out loud when he was citing Sydir Mitchell at DT and Harold Perkins at off-ball LB (when the only thing he's good at is pass rush) as part of his reasons for optimism. Pretty clear he has not clue what he's talking about and is just trying to pump LSU blindly for whatever reason. Maybe he has a GA he's friends with on staff or something.
  15. That the new hotel on the corner? Looks nice! Also is Alamo Springs Cafe back open? Thought I saw where they closed but with plans to reopen.

    Austin FC

Regular Austin FC games have much better attendance and the longest "sell-out" streak in MLS. Some MLS teams have horrible attendance for their regular games - Houston, for example.
  17. It's just so stupid that when they're not hitting and up by 20 points they just keep doing it. Even going 40% for 2 points still gets them a win...also gives more chances to get to the free throw line. It's just insanely shitty basketball.
  18. Another reason why people don't take your football takes seriously Derka. Anyone here who even understands football a little bit watched defense after defense trot out at least two deep safeties for the majority of the time Sark has been calling offense at the University of Texas. In fact, quite a few of them tried to run the 3 high flyover that has been so successful in the past vs Sark offenses. Even when we trotted out 12 personnel. Did a couple teams get aggressive in the box? Sure. Georgia did in our second meeting as a changeup and Quinn threw for 358. You can't just spout out easily refutable untruths Derka, like "the rb room was performing admirably" when every single loss we had we didn't crack 60 yards. A solid running team can run on any box because there are always angles and blocking schemes you can use to counter them. If you come out of every big game with a yard or two per carry you are NOT a good running team. Full stop.
  19. BUT THEY HAD A GENTELMEN'S AGREEMENT!1!!1!
  20. Was that with Waxahatchee?
  21. Looks like we're probably headed to Atlanta in September for the Shaky Knees festival. I see The Pixies are playing on Friday -- anyone know if that's the original band lineup?
  22. It's a Joseph Heller novel where dumb irony is the main character. Saban is likeable enough when telling old stories or talking about program structure or "the process." Whatever. This presentation of him being the noble statesman rep for when things were pure and fair is pathetic. Watching Saban begin to actually believe in this new version of himself is a front row seat to witnessing psychotic delusion. It was somewhat hilarious at first. Now it's infuriating. I wish some other coaches would start speaking up about the realities during the era of "when things once made sense to Nick."
  23. Hell yeah - let’s go to war and win it all - I’d prefer max grubbs - dv to valuable on the back end right now
  24. I thought that architecture looked kind of familiar....the three bridges in Dallas are Calatrava
