  3. He had an excellent start to a career that fizzled when tape review caught up with his disinterest in putting the work in to evolve and also being saddled with a HC with an agenda against him. Anyone intimating that he was a bust didn’t pay attention. I wake every day and thank God for Vince Young. Every Texas football fan should. He led a talent rich team to all-time glory as his OC and HC often unwittingly but actively created obstacles to keep that from happening. This is a Texas board. How the back end of his NFL career matters not to how any Texas fan should feel about the guy and what he gave to the school. Fuck you and any other ignorant piece of shit that attempts to position things otherwise on this board, motherfucker.

  5. 5* (who everybody knows is a 3* at best) Arch Manning will definitely flame out! Also, 5* Reggie McNeal 4* Stephen McGee 5* Kenny Hill 5* Kyler Murray 5* Kyle Allen 4* Trevor Knight 5* Kellen Mond 5* Haynes King 4* Max Johnson 5* Conner Weigman <next man up, fill in the blank> will definitely win a Heisman at Texas A&M due to Coach Franchione's Sherman's Sumlin's Fisher's Petrino's incredible offensive mind!

  6. I mean….if you think the logic of “in a society where any motherfucker can have as many guns as you can imagine, you probably oughta get a gun too” speaks WELL for us… Jesus. I’ve actually counseled some first-time gun buyers on what they should get in recent years. Most of them have been Jewish, the rest are women. Lemme tell you why they’re arming themselves. It’s not because of MS-13, or “crime gone crazy!” They’re arming themselves because of…crazy fucking MAGA people with guns. If there weren’t crazy fucking MAGA people and white supremacists and shit with closets full of ARs and a Sig on them when they go to HEB, the rest of society wouldn’t be so fucking concerned that they need to arm themselves. Jews are buying guns so they can shoot back at the fucking well-armed Nazis right here in river city. The fact that they feel the need to do so is the most fucked up indictment of our society I can imagine.

  7. Well, they moved the destroyed Russian tank from here - it’s in a tour, I think. But in case you want to know how Estonia feels about things, this is Freedom Square in Tallinn: The name tag on the lady’s kiosk at the tourist center: Most of the museum docents have similar ribbons. And the monument to Estonian independence - war against Russia 1918-20. Again, a big monument to Fuck Russia.

Europe was digging itself out of the ashes of WWI Entire world except US and South America was digging itself out of the ashes of WWII As mentioned above, thanks Obama I would venture to say America in the 90's was as strong or stronger than today. Thanks, Bill. Man, I'm seeing a trend with which party has America kicking ass on a regular basis.

  12. My Dad was blessed with an incredible ear and was self taught with that ear. New all the chords and didn't know the names of anybody them, which made him useless as a teacher when I started playing with my human ear. He discovered Reverse Chord Finder not long after he got on the internet. He loved going down the rabbit hole of entering all his chord shapes and learning what they were called. I'm very grateful that I recorded him when we were playing while he was visiting not long before he got sick. Probably his last performance a week or two before he passed. He spent the last few weeks playing that Squire Strat cause he couldn't get his arm over the body of a acoustic. Sorry for the thread jack, those reverse chord finder links sent me down memory lane.

  17. So had my 3rd esophagogastroduodonoscopy this morning to try to stretch out my esophagus. The junction where the stomach was sown to the remaining portion of my esophagus is full of scar tissue and creates real difficulty swallowing food. Still pretty dopey from the anesthesia but hopefully it helps. He already wants to schedule another in just over a month. They debated inserted a stent to hold it open, but he wants to avoid it unless it is absolutely necessary as that has its own issues. Upside is I've lost almost 40 pounds. Problem is I really shouldn't lose much more at all, as it will be difficult to add weight ever again just due to quantity restrictions. Round whatever number of Opdivo immunotherapy tomorrow. Anyway, that's my latest.

  23. Damn, bruin. I have my 4th infusion this week. It’s been pretty shitty and has gotten worse each time. The insomnia has been absolutely horrible. HR is high. BP is high. Lost 15 lbs from not really having much appetite. Legs feel weird and super restless all the time. However, the mass in my neck is all but gone when I feel around for it. I’m sure the one in my chest has shrunk significantly as well. So, this shit seems to be working I guess.

  24. Just got my afternoon update. The principal let me know he will never set foot on campus again. I asked about any legal ramifications and he said the same line that the investigation was in district HR hands. He said he wasn’t able to legally share anything that they had uncovered but he wanted to let me know he will never be employed by our school district again. So he got shitcanned in less than 48 hours with minimal fuss at the school. I’ll take it. I’ll probably call the school district in a couple weeks just to poke around. Maybe just ask, “Is the investigation complete?” Though I suppose if they really find something else the cops will get in touch with us.

  26. The roaring twenties. Before any protection for laborers, prohibition, limited voting rights, no environmental protections, no safe drinking water? Get the fuck out of here with that stupidity. Are you longing for time before antibiotics too? What a Dumas. And the 50s? Again, go look at the waters in our country at the time, untold damage was being done with no checks at all. Ohio and the Cuyahoga say hello. I could go with 2005 because of VY.

  27. You mean the era when a large percentage of Americans could not vote or have any type of say in their government because of the color of their skin? And if they did speak out, there was a good chance they would be lynched? Also, you should probably check and see what happened after the 1920s. Spoiler alert: it wasn't good. Go read a history book or fuck off.

  28. His explanation: Texas has been a staple in Gipson’s recruitment dating back years due to the pivotal connection between the On300 defensive back and former Lancaster (Texas) High School head coach Chris Gilbert, who as Steve Sarkisian’s Director of High School Relations bridged a gap between the Longhorns and some of the best talent across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Gilbert, now the running backs coach at North Texas, left the Longhorns in a strong position that Joseph and Sarkisian have continued to strengthen, according to sources familiar with Gipson’s recruitment. Alabama and Clemson are both threats that intend to recruit the four-star defensive back until he inks his letter of intent in December. I’ve upped my confidence level in my RPM to Texas earlier this spring to 70 percent with the sense that the shine of those out-of-state visits has worn off and the Longhorns continue to stand tall in Gipson’s recruitment. A decision is expected this summer before his senior season.
