  2. I’m also tired of being told I should have sympathy for a group that is voting for my community to become third class citizens and stripped of the right to marry, adopt kids and should be classified as mentally ill or pedophiles

  3. Fuck that rotten brat and his horrible mom. I have no fucking chill about this. In 2020 my daughter (then 14) destroyed a neighbor’s Trump sign and I dragged her ass up on their front porch and made her apologize to their face and bring them a new one, too.

  4. As a rural Nebraskan who played 8-man football, there is nothing more than football coaches with a rural Nebraska background love more than an opportunity to call someone a dipshit.

  5. Being understandable and being reasonable aren't the same thing. Stop this shit.

  6. in 2020 my neighborhood was 4:1 in terms of trump signs vs biden signs, and the trump people usually also had giant trump flags, or five different signs in their yards, including those dumbass back the blue signs. this year my neighborhood is easily 3:1 in favor of harris-walz signs, with no shortage of allred signs either. the fervor that i saw four years ago is gone. this neighborhood has done a total 180. i can’t even explain how wild it feels to see the difference from the last election.

  7. No, they don't. Anyone who doesn't think Trump back in office would be a very real and existential danger to Muslim-Americans is not reasonable.

  8. New guy here - I'm a Clemson fan, but my gf is a Texan and me (having always been a casual Longhorn fan since I was a kid) have taken a bigger interest in you guys the past few years. Actually attending my first UT game in Nashville this weekend. As I told my (very saddened) gf as the minutes ticked down on Saturday night, in the grand scheme of things, that loss won't be looked at as a big deal, and may be a good thing. In 2016, we (Clemson) were undefeated, but things just seemed off - we weren't really taking full advantage and it felt like we were sleep-walking through some of the games. At the Pitt game, at home, and with me in the stands, we lost to a crappy Pitt team. We were stunned. But - it woke us up, made us realize that we could lose these things and we had a target on our back every single week. We ended up winning out, destroying OSU in the playoffs and then knocking off Alabama in the Natty. In hindsight, that loss was probably the best thing that happened to us that season - it showed us our vulnerabilities and woke our guys up. And I think you guys can take advantage of the same and turn it into a positive. Also, win out and you'll be playing UGA again in the SECCG. As you all know, it's really tough to beat the same team twice and that being said, you'd prefer to lose to them now and win in December, versus the opposite. I think if a few things get corrected, you can run the table. Good luck guys - I'm pulling for yall!

  15. Gen Z is built different. Her big sister was told explicitly to stay out of it. I said “your sister is in big trouble and I need you to stay out of it. She destroyed the Trump sign in front of that house around the corner,” and her sister goes “well she couldn’t just burn it down.”

  16. Well to be clear, my 9 year old is in the national guard and he came home today asking how he is supposed to pee now that she is a girl. I am letting my wife deal with it. Hoping I am not on the hook for the bill. I am waiting to vote because I need trump to commit to reversals. We will see. /independent

  19. Love cats. And dogs….lost my oldest dog a couple years ago and now just cats. Have three rescues. Most recent is a little over a year old now. I rescued him from a gas station storm drain. Saw this kitten run across the lot and down into drain during a busy time with cars everywhere. Never thought I would get him as he was elusive as can be. Was this time last year when we had a week straight of rain. He was living in drain/gas station for over a month. It took me two different traps to get him over a few weeks. The last pic is when I set first trap…a fox came and ran across the lot. I thought that night he was going to get nabbed. That first trap I got from humane society he was sniffing out and door slammed before he went in…design wasn’t right so I got a round one for my next attempt that worked. It will be a year next week since I rescued him. On the question about bathing. My other cats are the same way. They avoid going into water at all costs. This guy, he walks in it. Living in a storm drain does that. He loves baths. You would have thought he was waiting for a hot bath the day we gave him his first. But most cats will claw your arm off. And as the above poster said, they self groom well so bathing is only needed if they get into something and have to have one…or just older and could use one. His two brothers are finally getting to accept him. One more than the other. But yes, cats are awesome.

  20. the polls that are skewing the numbers towards Trump are all GOP friendly and the betting markets showing Trump leading are seeing big money thrown in by big GOP supporters. and the GOP is now telling us that the machines are rigged bc they're flipping Trump votes to Harris. see a pattern? the GOP needs to convince America that Trump is winning this thing bigly heading into November 5 based on the polls and betting markets. and when he starts getting crushed on November 5, he can say, "See, the Dems are cheating. I had this thing locked up. The machines are flipping votes. Rigged rigged rigged!" i'll trust Harris's internals suggesting that she can spare a night in Houston than the polls and betting markets.

  22. Look, I hate what’s happening in Gaza. I’ve been to Israel, I’m half Jewish, and I fucking hate Israel and Bibi especially. But what I hate more is people voting against their own interests to own someone. What’s gonna happen in Gaza and in the US under Trump is going to be 100x worse than the last few years under Biden. Guaranteed. Presidential elections are neither the time nor the place to throw tantrums.

  23. It's easier to lose a war by underestimating your enemy than by overestimating them. I remember talking to Gulf War veterans who told me that it was tough and real, but it was easier than training exercises that they had done. It's always better to be prepared for the worst case.

  25. I did have a guy tell me that he was voting for Trump because he makes a shit load of money and the very last thing he wants is to pay taxes and he knows Trump will “take care of him”. Had another tell me that he thinks it is just terrible that our public schools are conducting sex reassignment surgeries without parents consent. I asked him why Abbott is allowing it to happen as Governor and he told me I was going to hell.

  26. this isn't the fucking israel thread. The President of the United States isn't in charge of Israel. The election isn't about Israel. Stop posting about it here.

  27. Or some of us know there's literally nothing Biden can do that won't lose Kamala votes. He withholds funding to Israel, he gives Trump an easy issue to rail on and he loses her Jewish votes. Bibi still doesn't stop the bombing and he whines that America doesn't have Israel's back. He doesn't do anything, he loses her Muslim votes.

  28. If Trump wins, and the Isrealis begin to carpet bomb Gaza and Southern Lebanon, while accelerating land seizures in the West Bank, this post is going to age very, very poorly.

  29. No, it's the absolutely correct take. If a group of people, in a petulant toddler fit, insist on subjecting the entire country (and indeed the entire world) to the reign of a man bent on our destruction -- AND FUCKING THEIRS -- and he does exactly what he is predicted to do, resulting in hell across the board, including genocide of the very people they claim to be acting on behalf of.....FUCK THEM. THEY DESERVE IT. WHEN YOU VOTE FOR YOUR OWN GENOCIDE, YOU DESERVE IT. HOW IS THAT A CONTROVERSIAL TAKE?
