Yeah, you'll be lurking all week. Listen up. I think your season is about to end with a two-game losing streak. Your defense is ass. We're unbeaten at home. Etc. But no matter what happens next week, you are not a football power and you never were. The last time you put two good seasons in a row together was when you were cheating worse than SMU. You are not a big deal. You are Texas Tech with a god complex. And you're a bunch of weirdos who consistently embarrass yourselves and the rest of this state. Everyone laughs at you behind your back. Everyone. The best aggy joke I ever heard was in NYC. So shut the fuck up, stop pretending your high school pep rallies are cool, get some female cheerleaders, and stop dressing up like the military so you can smack each other's bare asses and it's not really gay. Yes, it is. And you know it. It's cool to be gay now, guys. Just let it out. It doesn't have to be Halloween every day over there anymore. Good luck in the game. Even if you win, it doesn't change anything. You are a bigger embarrassment to yourselves than you will ever realize. And no one outside of your little cult actually respects you. Good day.58 points

AOC on MTG retiring: "She's carefully timing her departure just 1-2 days after her pension kicks in and after making millions of dollars insider trading stocks for weapons manufacturers and others while in office. She is saying a lot but her ACTIONS have not backed up the rhetoric. For all her talk, she's STILL voting with them to gut healthcare and advance self-dealing corruption schemes."15 points

No, I'm pointing out how some on this stupid website can't just enjoy wins now because we're not going to make the playoff. This season can still be a success without making the playoff. Today was fun. Arch did something no other player has ever done at Texas. He had his best game so far. We beat a team some on here were convinced we would lose to or get blown out by. If that's strawmanning people then so be it. This site has been a miserable experience the past week because people love to swim in misery.14 points

At the end of football season and the dust clears and it is determined who will be the head football coach at Texas. This thread should be submitted to Ken Burns who will undoubtedly turn it into a six-part, 12-hour docuseries on PBS. It will of course be narrated by Peter Coyote. Hollywood's biggest stars will voice the most notable posters in the thread as Burns pieces together this incredible piece of history in his usual first-class style. The background music will naturally be provided by the numerous songs that were cited by posters of this memorizing story. Here are just some of the names that will voice the posts. Clair Danes as Nicole44. Tom Hanks as BurntEyes. Jeff Daniels as WinningIsHard Paul Giamatti as immamac Many Patinkin as David Dennison. Funding for this monumental project will be provided by The Better Angels Society and of course Luby's Restaurant Corporation.13 points

nsiap ... Full text: We are veterans and national security professionals who love this country and swore an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. That oath lasts a lifetime, and we intend to keep it. No threat, intimidation, or call for violence will deter us from that sacred obligation. What’s most telling is that the President considers it punishable by death for us to restate the law. Our servicemembers should know that we have their backs as they fulfill their oath to the Constitution and obligation to follow only lawful orders. It is not only the right thing to do, but also our duty. But this isn’t about any one of us. This isn’t about politics. This is about who we are as Americans. Every American must unite and condemn the President’s calls for our murder and political violence. This is a time for moral clarity. In these moments, fear is contagious, but so is courage. We will continue to lead and will not be intimidated. Don’t Give Up the Ship! — Joint Statement from me, Senator Slotkin, and Reps. Crow, Deluzio, Goodlander, and Houlahan12 points

I have no problem if Sark’s aspirational goals were to go to Texas to build his resume to go to the NFL. If he left us for the NFL it meant he was successful at Texas and he kept his past demons in check. That’s an outcome we all can root for. That’s not something to be resentful about, IMO.12 points

What part of this do people NOT understand: We’re not mad about off-field shit because we're losing; we're losing because of off-field shit.” it’s not hard. If you fuck yo your job bc you are fucking around you should be gone. Take your job seriously and no one cares if you are dumping bodies in town lake. No one, don’t do your job + fucking around = ??????? if you part ways or sent away or fired it’s because you earned it. And because they don’t think you can fix it in 2026. At all. And you don’t get a second chance to flush $30 million down the toilet a second year in a row, and you don’t deserve one.11 points

Let me step in here and provide some focus. At this point there are exactly 2 things you need to concern yourself with for the rest of the season. First, taking Pig and their inbred, methhead, beat up jalopy drivin', no shoes wearing asses and send them back to their pretty teeth loving shit hole of a state with a deep crevasse where their assholes use to be. Second, but with no less urgency or intensity curb stomping aggies, "destroying" their season, and making them second guess the bullshit confidence they have built beating a bunch of corchless bottom feeding teams. All else is immaterial. Focus, we got bitch ass teams to pimp slap.10 points

The only thing I hate is you are still not smart enough to see the exact same problems we have this year were the exact same problems last year and still won't give Quinn a tip of the cap. Go back and watch the Georgia game last year. Golden had a ball go right through his hands in the end zone. Helm dropped one along the sideline to keep a drive alive. Wingo had a ball go right through his arms along the sideline too. Isiah Bond tried to basket catch a ball and deflected it straight in the air for an INT. We had almost 100 yards in penalties, 11-94. 31 yards on the ground. Still Quinn had us in the game. You are frustrated with Sark about the same shit that was happening last year but too slow to put 2+2 together.9 points

It's really not. Mateer didn't suck against Texas because of his injury, that's just silly to say. His mistakes were mental.9 points

I have no dick to swing, no balls to drag over anyone’s faces, but if I had a dick I would tell all the Arch haters in the world to suck it. He has the kind of game today that if he were on Blow U or on Georgia or OSU or Bama the announcers would be drooling all over it. I ain’t talking about y’all. He has faced ridiculous amounts of scrutiny since he decided to come here. And every 5 mins since he signed there have been stories about “will he portal?” Like the media and everyone else just wanted him to leave here. And he stayed. Hes mentally tough. Brushed all the shit off. Didn’t let him get to him. We have all this crazy shit happening behind the scenes (allegedly 😉) with our HC and he’s balling like a mofo. Happy for him. Cant wait to watch him ball out in Burnt Orange next year and drag his nuts all over the SEC while Finebaum whines like a bitch. Hope we can fix the RB shit and Oline. how many QBs could be successful behind that line on a learning curve with a worse than anemic running game? It’s crazy to me. Most teams win games if they have 100 yds rushing. We struggle to even get that in a couple of games combined. carry on! Happy Early Thanksgiving. Arch is HIM. I ain’t bitching about y’all for fair criticism of his bad games and throws and such. Just imagine if he had had a competent OLine and a running game and sark had figured out (ahem) before the Florida game instead of the 4th quarter of Mississippi State game how to effectively use him. Oh well. He’s gonna be a beast next year. Hook’em 🤘🏼 carry on!9 points

From a few years back, before their Appalachia St. loss. Or pick any of them before and since then... Texas A&M's Yell Leaders Are The Cringiest Tradition In College Football Take this past weekend for example. Prior to the App State game, which A&M lost, Yell Leader Zac cracked some jokes about the 'Neers while pacing back and forth in front of fans in the stands. It is so incredibly uncomfortable that you can feel the cringe in your bones. Zac Cross '23 opened his attempt to diss the Aggies' opponent by saying he had to Google App State. That's a shame, because any true college football fan is very familiar with the program. Especially after its famous upset over Michigan. He then proceeds to joke that Appalachia is not a state, despite the school's name. It wasn't funny. And then Cross went on to call App State a "hillbilly college." He does so while wearing overalls at an Agricultural school in College Station, Texas. Think about the irony there for a second. From there, Cross jokes that the football team can't read the name on their jerseys or read a map. This is especially funny because App State's high school GPA requirement for admission into the school is higher than that of Texas A&M's. Oops!9 points
