We are at the point where Nick Brooks’ progress/development might dictate our season.

There are still a lot of issues on offense. Him become a positive would be great beneficial, but there are still other issues.

yep but IMO the whole OL dev needs to happen and fast.  the other 4 aren't rolling balls of butcher knives at this point.  Nick did upgrade us from what was effectively a tree trunk that falls over.

Love this too.

Arch getting down the field as well. Almost had a chance to throw a block.

That’s awesome to see Washington miss then go kill.

Hopefully Brooks and goosby can prove to be a reliable duo to run behind. If we can see that everything gets much better from goal line to situational shooter yardage to avoiding 3rd and long and opening up the pass game. Make it happen.

Don’t worry we still have Cole Hutson who will ruin it

OL grades vs OU

Goosby: 65.2 (70.9 pass, 67 run)

Campbell: 62.9 (57.3 pass, 63 run)

Hutson: 49.5 (18.0 pass, 58.4 run)

Brooks: 43.7 (14.7 pass, 48.1 Run)

Baker: 63.9 (65.9 pass, Run 61.2)

Question for the brains.
It “seems” like our lines don’t function unless we have 5* stars at most positions. Is our blocking technique (zone blocks) too hard and guys are confused who to block or something else.

We’re not athletic enough to get to some of the blocks but we’re also not strong enough to get enough push with the other blocks due to technique really for both

I believe the question was directed at “the brains”

So I guess question is Flood not recruiting right guys ( I know very hard to project guys 2-3 yrs down the road) or trying to fit square round peg stuff.

I admit PK 1st 2yrs had me questioning D but now Flood concerns me.

Either Flood kinda sucks or the guys aren't doing the right work outs.  Or maybe both.
