aggy - where QB and WR go to die. How many have left that program to earn starter positions at other schools? I'll never understand a top WR or QB going there. It's a deathbed to careers.

Seriously.  Without looking, who is the last QB of theirs to start through their senior (or final) year since Corey Pullig?  Just Manziel? That it?

Once again, before the season starts and the losses pile up, the fighting ags have found themselves in the mix for the national championship! Other contenders to look out for, Syracuse,  Fresno State, Utah State and 100s more!

Kellen Mond. Who they hated. He also happens to be the best QB they've had since Manziel.

Did Reggie McNeal start all of his last season?  He was better than Vince, and beat #1 ou that one time, so he should have.

tannehill also did it. His last year was his only year to start all the games, at least at qb.

I used to enjoy them.  My ex-wife and I use to head down to Tijuana every couple of weeks.  I'd buy a nice Cuban, find an outdoor table to enjoy tacos and beers, and she'd hit the shops on Revolucion.   I use to smuggle a cohiba or two back every trip to enjoy later.

Then one morning in Pasadena...Michigan game IIRC, none other than @Macanudo handed me what I’m sure was a fine quality cigar.   I thanked him, lit the thing, and within a few minutes I decided it was fucking vile, threw it down, and I haven’t smoked one since. It was an expensive and gross habit that I'm glad I'm over.  I was dining outdoors last night with the GF, and some asshole was smoking a cigar nearby.  I'd rather smell weed, which, being in San Diego, I smell quite often.

Of course it was a fine quality cigar.  I don't give Swisher Sweets to just anyone.

I don't know much about A&M's history over the last 30 years other than them losing some hilarious games like 27-25 and 77-0, so I asked ChatGPT about the QBs being replaced and this is what it came up with:

1992-1995: Corey Pullig 4-yr starter

1996: Branndon Stewart replaced by Mark Farris midseason

1997-1999: Randy McCown 3-yr starter, replaced Mark Farris

2001: Mark Farris replaced by Dustin Long midseason

2002: Dusting Long replaced by Reggie McNeal midseason

2005: Reggie McNeal replaced by Stephen McGee midseason (injury)

2008: Stephen McGee replaced by Jerrod Johnson midseason (injury)

2010: Jerrod Johnson replaced by Ryan Tannehill

2012-2013: Manziel 2-yr starter

2014: Kenny Hill replaced by Kyle Allen midseason

2015: Kyle Allen replaced by Kyler Murray midseason

2016: Trevor Knight (ChatGPT says he transferred from OU? Don't remember this guy)

2017: Nick Starkel (? who is this?) and Kellen Mond swapped back and forth (?)

2018-2020: Mond starts for 3 yrs

2021: Haynes King replaced by Zach Calzada (injury)

2022: Haynes King replaced by Max Johnson, who was then replaced by Connor Weigman

2024: Looks like Weigman about to be replaced by Marcel Reed

1 I suppose it is possible that their potential market may not make the connection between the colors used on their uniforms and those on the boxes.

2 The band is exactly the same on every cigar!

3 It sure does.

They lose points and probably money from not having 12 in each box.

Who doesn't want to be this guy?

The Aggie ring on his fat sausage finger is absolutely perfect.

It also struck me as odd that they used a tub of goo as their hand model.

I bet she serves a damn fine cup of coffee. That said, I've had enough of morons and half-wits, dolts, dunces, dullards, and dumbbells.
