I don’t think he should be fired, but CDC needs to force the issue on making him get a real OC. This is yet another example of putrid offense against a quality opponent. Nobody has feared this offense for 3 years now.

Ah yes, the panic coordinator hiring, which always works out….

I'm past that. He's not the guy. But he'll be here at least through next year. Hopefully there'll be some good candidates.

To get out coached coming off a bye week is shameful enough. For Georgia to do it basically doing what they’ve done all year is even more embarrassing. It’s on Sark and his entire coaching staff.

What if I told you billy Napier did the same to Sark just 45 days ago

That's what I thought after the Florida loss, but this isn't an OC issue. Sark isn't a bad  coach, he's just not good enough for Texas.

Sark's agent is probably working the phones hard right now telling these NFL teams to come get him

They know what he does as HC. Best he can nab is an OC position but he was out play called by Shanahan.

His head coaching tenure has been pretty bad outside of 2 years when he had stacked talent.

The win against Alabama in 2023 was Sark's peak.
He's 1-7 at Texas against top 5 teams, and that Alabama win was the lone win.

That was Milroes third start.  Sark has been lucky in that he coached against ou when the had their backups in

Oh bullshit. OU’s QB played this year and was healthy, we just kicked the fuck out of the Sooners.

Sark has to be fired. Need a change.

The fact he looks detached on the sidelines most times pisses me off.
the fact that he’s roughly 8-4 with his abilities pisses me off.

The approach to the entire offseason pisses me off.
his play calling suffers from half assing it as a HC.

And everyone forgets how lucky he was to not collapse against ASU when he was a double digit favorite. How different is the narrative if a borderline miracle on 4th and 13 goes the other way.

I think he’s safe for another year. He can probably somewhat convincingly sell Arch’s final season and running it back one last time.

That said the NFL taking him off our hands would be terrific and probably result in the least amount of roster turnover.

As always, the next guy is what’s most important. Gotta have him in place before anything else moves.

You say this out of fear. You fear hiring a worse coach. However, if Texas ever wants to truly compete for a national championship, he’s not the guy.  OC won’t fix his personality. A personality that is reflected by the team.

If we know anything about CDC, he won’t make a move until the next guy is in place and I think there were rumblings that he may be unhappy with sark

Lane is sarks bff though. Not sure he would come

He obviously shouldn’t be fired unless you are hiring Kirby. Let’s also remember Saban(Alabama) owns Kirby but he still managed to win championships. After the Ohio St game it was obvious to me this team is a year away. They just don’t play with enough confidence. But Sark has to fix his coaching staff and how they prepare for games.

I don't think there is any chance in hell Sark is fired this year, off the back of a CFP appearance. that would represent a drastic change from the way Texas does things. he gets next year and if that blows as well, then it really is a possibility

You can’t get mad at Sark. This is who he is.

He’s an offensive coordinator, not a HC and that’s what he wants to be. So don’t expect him to focus on the small details like discipline or onside kicks or even fake punts. .

you better just pray your assistant coaches know

Alabama’s coach owns him, too.

I hope sark is taking notes on how to coach a top 5 program !!!!!!!

He has no idea what you’re talking about. He’s too busy fumbling with his play sheets while squatting.
