The list of reasons are far too many to see this season as being anything less than our best since 2020.

1. Easiest schedule we've had since joining the SEC with our hardest games at home.
2. Best QB room we've had since maybe ever.
3. Solid RB room with depth.
4. Scary DL that could be among the best.
5. Deep backfield
6. Elite LB's
7. Potential best D since WC days
8. Championship winning WR coach
9. Highly rated OC w/ open playbook that will utilize talent
10. Elite S&C coach
11. Ivy League HC that brings discipline, an open mind and familiarity that was our best Coordinator in forever.
12. Entering season w/ reasonable expectations.

We don't have the targets on our backs like years past. We're entering the season under the radar and have the chance to surprise everyone right out of the gates against ND.

The dominoes are all stacked in front of us and everything is coming together at just the right time. And we have a decent chance to make the new 12 team playoff with a good season.

But let's keep the 7-5 predictions coming, it gives us our best chance.

It has begun.

Man they are undoubtedly heading for another championship with all that going for them. Pretty much a dynasty at this point. Basically nobody else has a shot anymore.

But, but, but I thought that the SEC was murderer's row? What about the "gauntlet"? To hear SEC nut swingers tell it, every team in the conference is as good as Georgia and Alabama from top to bottom. There are no "easy wins".

Now the nut swingers are saying that Texas an "easy schedule". Can't have it both ways, fan boys. Get over yourselves. Texas will be just fine in the SEC. Who the hell roots for a conference anyway? 🙄

This cracked me up.

I've spent a good portion of the last month or two observing SEC fans in the wild.  My conclusion:  they are (on average) complete morons.  I hope most of those on social media didn't actually attend college, because holy shit that would be a staggering indictment of their "quality" of education (which could explain some things).

He's on that Leon Sloneal timeline, so it should arrive by the year 2137

Bro, you can't make it make sense. It's aggy.

Ridicule, well sure if UT put a 65 foot duck in Town Lake, that would be strange.

UT could put one in City Lake at Murphy Park over in Taylor, and it would be appropriate.

And they learn how to shovel shit in preparation for their career in Louisians

The new chip factory is supposed to go near Taylor, and has already doubled their original expectations of plant size. Nice for us, but still years away.

I really hope we win the SEC this year. I mean, duh, but more than just as a Longhorn fan. If we win it, it would be gloriously entertaining to see all the aggy geniuses who are so invested in the "rude awakening for UT" concept just absolutely lose their collective shit.

And a nice 3 TD asskicking at Kyle to end the regular season would be the chef's kiss.

I saw that movie once. We had to leave so we would not mess up "the reals", but no hypothetical. Movie says yes.

Losers who have no chance of winning said conference.

I love that one of his twelve reasons they might make the playoffs is "Entering season with reasonable expectations."

This, but I would also accept a 27-25 win on a fg by Bert, just to grind the salt into that wound one more time. But also 3+ TDs.

When Mad Magazine used to do fold-ins, they'd make the picture make sense before you folded it, like that was the entire joke. This looks like the shirt is having a fucking stroke.

Here's a good example, just for aggy:

Back in Miami’s heyday day, I remember shirts looking similar to that. Usually involving ND.

Please forgive the sloppiness of this post I am still four plus years post-stroke and I'm going to do this voice to  text and there are mistakes in punctuation and such throughout.

Aggies are still the most super weird and intellectually dishonest with themselves. Only in general like Aggies is personal friends and they're good people and they have high morals and exhibit good behavior and their kids are good kids I mean it's the truth not all of them but the ones I know and choose to associate with. The smarter nerds ar Rice have nothing to do with  me as a inference.  Meaning I'm the worst of an owl and they the best of Aggie somehow it's a fit.

They do understand, live in reality, and are aware of reality in everything but college football. And it just amazes me that they continue to think that they're going to be relevant in the discussion the next time the conference/ consolidating shift .

Texas may have three relevant teams and A& M is not necessarily going to be one of them. And the architecture there is so fucking Soviet brutal they just don't have a soul...

You take the bottom letters and fold them up so the bottom half of them makes up the bottom half of the top letters and it says "Fuck Texas".

Or if you're aggy, you just sit down, and the bottom part of the shirt rides up on your belly, and your moobs fold over the top part and the shirt says "Fuck Texas."

Owens was their "best back" and Moss was medicore.

If Owens is done, how does the Klein offense work without several functional backs?

Does this mean that we get more Weigman running the ball?
