That would’ve crossed the line from “annoying/kind of funny” to straight up cyber bullying. I wouldn’t have posted the entire month.

Matt Duffy in the lineup as DH for the Royals.  I was hoping KC would have used the Ohtani Rule to let Greinke have one last game as a batter.

Picked up his 2nd win of the season though.  If this is it, he finishes with 225 Ws and 2979 Ks.

In the history of baseball (which is a pretty long time), there has been 1 team to slug .500 for a full season. Your 2023 Atlanta Braves, with the most impressive offensive season in history.

Very similar to the 2019 Astros lineup of hate that steamrolled the regular season.

Hope it works out for you the same it did for us.

Not really.  The ball was juiced in 2019 and the MLB-wide slugging was .435.  The Astros led at .495 but the Twins and Yankees were at .494 and .490.

This year MLB-wide slugging was .414.  Atlanta led at .501 and the Dodgers were second at .455.

I was just saying all-time great offensive regular season means jack shit when it comes to winning the World Series.  It helps, but is no guarantee.

Granted, the Braves also have elite pitching so there is a legit reason they are far and away the top pick to take it all.  Kind of like the 2019 Astros were.  Again, hope it works out for them the same it did for us.

Should’ve kept it as a do or die one game thing.

Have heard that brought up multiple times on sportstalk today, but that favors the weaker team, IMHO.  I like it that there were at least a couple of upsets this year, and it wasn't just one game flukers.

That's a good idea, what's everyone's favorite baseball movie? Mine is The Sandlot.

1. Major League

2. Moneyball

3. The Natural( I know, I'm old.)

4. Bull Durham

5. Bad News Bears( Yes, old!)
