November 5, 20232 yr Last year watching Tank Dell in college, you had zero doubts he was nfl ready. What a great draft pick !!!!
November 5, 20232 yr Fuck you Baker. I’d pour a beer on your head if I were at the game you garbage person.
November 5, 20232 yr Didn’t Stroud work out with Dell in the off-season and he made the Texans draft him? Well done.

November 5, 20232 yr It’s nice to have a real coach, a real QB, and a team that’s finding ways to win. Edited November 5, 20232 yr by Harrison Stafford
November 5, 20232 yr This team is fun to watch again. Demeco and CJ are so much better than random placeholder old coach and giraffe neck. The culture is changing. Don't fuck it up Tommy Boy

November 5, 20232 yr Author Unprecedented numbers for a rookie QB. Couldn’t be happier with Demeco, Slowik and the rest of the team. These aren’t your same old Texans. Think if Caserio drafted Sauce and anyone other than aggy in 2022. Edited November 5, 20232 yr by Macklemore

November 5, 20232 yr My gruntle index for Stroud has no ceiling after today. Fucking build a team around that guy (O-line particularly) and become contenders in a hurry.
November 6, 20232 yr I have faith in Cal’s wife She is a super nice and organized person. How she has time for everything I'll never know
November 6, 20232 yr Our rookie QB is a certified badass and we ruined Baker Mayfield’s day so literally everyone is happy
November 6, 20232 yr The OL and DL need to be the focus for the next couple of drafts. stroud has already shown he can make players better. Look at what he did with what many people thought was the worst WR room in the league.
November 6, 20232 yr That was my favorite Texans game ever. Holy shit, that was entertaining. I don't know what to say anymore about Stroud. He legitimately had a rough 1st half and still ended up with otherworldly numbers. Incredible that we can confidently believe this guy will be a top 5 QB for the next decade. Tank Dell...man. A legitimate badass hooked up with a franchise QB. He's gonna light up the league. And props to Demeco and staff for FEEDING him. So many injuries on defense, but they fought hard all game. I'm fully on board the Texans bandwagon. LFG
November 6, 20232 yr CJ Stroud is pretty fucking great. Thank you to the beard for winning that last game, which we all wanted him to lose.m

I saw an earlier mock that had the Texans getting Keon Coleman and that would be fucking awesome. I think we need a WR/TE and then just fill up on LOS guys. Edited November 6, 20232 yr by HtownHorn

I don’t trust Caserio to draft a 1st round OL after picking the aggy bust we have at LG. We already have enough draft capital and cap space devoted to OL. Patterson was a good pick in the 5th round and we can fill out our needs in FA and in the lower rounds like that. Biggest need is to get a stud DT that can get us a consistent push up the middle so that we can actually get the QB on the ground. Jordan Davis/Jalen Carter type talent would be ideal. If Keon Coleman is still on the draft board where we pick, he would be impossible to pass up. Same with Bowers, IMO.

Just draft the best player available within reason. Landing a great player is more important than landing a player at a specific position. I don't think Bowers or Coleman will be there.
November 6, 20232 yr Some thoughts - Stroud had arguably the best game ever statistically by a rookie QB, despite missing several throws in the first couple of drives - Noah Brown was a difference maker - This team is comically beat up. You could only laugh at the sequence where the DB got injured and then his replacement got injured the following play - There were some brutal calls on Houston. The roughing play on Baker, obviously, but also a pretty weak hold and weak PI in big moments This year is this year, but in the following three years, Houston needs to try to maximize Stroud's rookie contract. Buy Chase Young this offseason. Buy another WR. Etc. I won't say go all-in because I wouldn't be trading away premium picks, but there will be a rookie QB salary window if some thinks go correctly

November 6, 20232 yr There are going to be a lot of good WRs available at 20. I'm not sure about DL, usually those guys are gone in the Top 5-10. I would love Sweat, but 20 is probably too high for him because he's a run stuffer. Though maybe he would have more pass rush stats if he wasn't held on every play without fear of penalty.
