There are roughly 200 countries in the world. I might be wrong, but damn near 200 countries have border enforcement. It is normal, ordinary course of business function of government. There are not 200 fascist countries in the world. Border enforcement is a basic function of all governments.

Further, the policy is entirely race neutral. The civil rights act of 1965 eliminated Jim Crow. It made (superfluously, but whatever) discrimination of the basis of race illegal. There is absolutely nothing about the enforcement actions that is racist. It is not possible. If the law is racist, you or someone should identify the racist part of the laws, and have them overturned. I am told there are no such efforts underway.

If you think people in general are racist, that is a CULTURAL issue. It has nothing to do with enforcing laws that have been on the books for decades.

If the people enforcing laws are doing so motivated by racial animus, then they are racists and the enforcement is racist.

The only times in American history we have had these sweeping efforts to deport people, that are so unprincipled and unmoored that they commonly sweep citizens, lawful immigrants, and unlawful immigrants, they were some of the most shameful racist incidents in our history.  https://www.texasstandard.org/stories/texas-exhibit-refuses-to-forget-one-of-the-worst-periods-of-state-sanctioned-violence/

When we're not only deporting people, but reversing humanitarian immigration policies (TPS for Venezuelans, among others) enacted by the same President, we're getting goddamn near racist territory.

Tell me with a straight face that Stephen Miller isn't the most blatantly racist American politician since George Wallace.

Something like 30% of Mexico decamped to the US, mostly illegally. How would you imagine to deport them without deporting your "brown people". You are a lawyer, I frankly expect better than cheap emotional appeals and logical fallacies.

Moreover, you have no evidence that the average American law enforcement officer is a racist. It's just shit you made up. But let's fire all the racist cops now. All we need is a trace of proof. I support your agenda completely.

I am looking forward to the serial negrep I will soon be getting from @PenelopeWitherspoon LOL. For the uninformed audience, the drunken fat lady has given out more than twice the negrep on this site than any other poster. She is an angry feminist monster.

And I want to repeat it, because you can't explain it. Trump won 12 of 14 Texas border counties in the last election. It's a curious form of racism that dominates on the border. Maybe you can explain it.

Exactly.  There’s no rebuttal because… there’s no rebuttal. As an example, Uvalde county is an hour from the border. It has a great reason for the population to look for gun control. It is 70/30 Hispanic/white. It was fucking 2/1 for Trump. There is one massive reason why.

The border was opened wide and they let millions in. Even paid and flew them in to places like Chicago or whatever. I have little doubt that there’s some Tren de Aragua at that housing complex. They probably came in wearing gray sweatsuits at the airport. This is the reaction.

Sorry, guys. You didn’t care when it happened. I don’t really care when it’s reversed.
