Sounds like all land grant schools: Florida St., Iowa St., Michigan St., & Penn St.

I haven't been following it closely but iirc he has FSU and Michigan State visits lined up.

He has family ties to Oklahoma, so that may be a match.

Who wouldn't want to be coached down by the unsung prowess of Demarco Murray, what better way to get ready for a transfer to Kansas.

Edwin Joseph on his Texas visit.

So current best (reasonable) case scenario for the portal would be something like~

Pitt LB (or Woodward from Auburn), Rutgers corner, FSU safety, Florida freshman edge, Arkansas NT on defense.

Coleman WR, Baugh RB1 + Brown RB2, that more inline TE from (Florida I think also?), Sprauge + Guarnera + some other proven guard.. JMU kid maybe? Maybe a second WR as well who is more of a speed threat though I don't know how much else we do at WR if we land Coleman.

edit: I would have included KSU LB as well but there was a report last night he is basically locked in with a team already.

Do any of the 9.95s do a credible job ranking portal players? It seems like most of them throw up their HS rankings from 3 years ago. With video from college games available I would think there would be a market for someone to do this.

I assume he meant it as me having left it off my list. I forgot to include the kicker needs.

I’m assuming the Michigan linemen we are considering had a helluva lot better time at Disneyworld last week with our guys than their current teammates.

Might add another QB (Sark likes 4 QB), and a 2nd WR (hopefully Jaycee Brown (KSU) ) according to OTF. They dnt seem to think we go after a TE. Said the staff really like Townsend, Winston and Washington (I do to) unless they go after a inline blocker

The 995 sites need to find a better way to rank portal prospects. So far it’s complete dog shit.

So is he sliding into guard or is this a swing tackle/ back up plan for Goosby? If he sticks at tackle I really hope the number of OL is 4 but 3 at a minimum.

If he signs that likely means baker slides in I think.

I have to say, getting two guys that played together at Michigan might go a long ass way to remedying whatever the fuck it is Flood has been doing at OL. Hopefully they actually had the false starts coached out of them and we won’t have to hear idiots making excuses about an OL needing to “gel” and “learn to play together” through six games of the fucking season.

Sprague is fucking huge. Like 6'8 or something right? He definitely would be playing tackle and it would be Baker moving inside.

Isaac Brown reminds me of Jamaal Charles.

Also nice that both of those players have at least two years of eligibility left.

Idk how I feel about Baker at guard and whats the deal on the Michigan tackle? Shows he’s not even a 3rd team all big 10

I am now claiming analytical dominion over all of the idiots on this site who thought that this reject from Alan Jackson’s lineage would ever amount to anything worth a fuck at the University of Texas. Assuming we sign a kicker and punter that would pretty much be orgasmic of that all played out.

Sources: Update on Florida star RB Jadan Baugh and RB portal pursuit

  •  Tyler Harden (Swamp 247)

For the 2025-26 offseason, one of Florida’s most prominent priorities has been retaining star running back Jadan Baugh.

Baugh finished the 2025 season with 1,170 rushing yards on 220 carries and eight touchdowns. He is the 10th running back in program history to finish with over 1,000 rushing yards in a single season.

That being said, retaining Baugh is essential for the Gators for 2026 season.

However, a source tells Swamp247 that a decision on Baugh’s end on whether he’d return to Florida for 2026 or venture elsewhere in the Transfer Portal has not yet been made.

Because of that, a source tells Swamp247 that Florida is beginning to look around the portal at running backs to add.

Florida is showing interest in two transfer running backs for a source tells Swamp247. Those running backs are USC redshirt freshman transfer running back Bryan Jackson and Michigan State sophomore transfer running back Makhi Frazier.

    Bryan Jackson

Jackson is a 6-foot, 230-pound running back from McKinney, Texas.

He is ranked as the No. 20 running back and the No. 219 overall prospect in the 247sports Transfer Rankings.

For the 2025 season, Jackson ran for 123 yards on 36 carries and four touchdowns He averaged 3.4 yards per carry

His season was highlighted by a 35-yard performance on five carries and a touchdown in a 31-13 win over Michigan.

For the 2024 season, his true freshman season, Frazier also ran the ball 36 times for 188 rushing yards and a touchdown. He averaged 5.2 yards per carry.

The running back from Texas is a former three-star recruit in the 2024 class. He was ranked as the No. 77 athlete in the country and the No. 136 recruit in Texas.

Jackson signed with USC in December 2023 and enrolled in January 2024.

    Makhi Frazier

Frazier is a 5-foot-10, 218-pound running back from McKinney, Texas.

He is ranked as the No. 21 running back and the No. 220 overall prospect in the 247sports Transfer Rankings.

For the 2025 season, Frazier ran for 520 rushing yards on 116 carries and two touchdowns. He averaged 4.5 yards per carry, and also caught 12 passes for 25 yards.

His season was highlighted by a 103-yard performance on 14 carries and a touchdown in a 23-6 win over Western Michigan, and a 109-yard performance on 14 carries in a 31-20 loss to Michigan.

For the 2024 season, his true freshman season, Frazier ran the ball seven times for 21 yards. That being said, Frazier took on a much more impactful role in 2025 and gained that much more experience at the collegiate level.

The running back from the Lone Star State is a former three-star recruit in the 2024 class. He was ranked as the No. 109 running back in the country and the No. 249 recruit in Texas.

Frazier was originally committed to Oregon State, but following head coach Jonathan Smith's departure from Oregon State, Frazier followed him to East Lansing and signed with Michigan State in December 2023. He enrolled in June 2024.

Elite run blocker who has some issues in pass protection. Not a complete liability but he needs to improve there. Likely an upgrade over what we had with Baker but not a significant one (Baker was horrendous to start the season but quickly improved). The debate about Sprague really comes down to how you evaluate Baker at guard. If that transition works out and you can get average or above average guard play with Baker then it is a great move. If not and it turns into a disaster there... well you basically threw a bunch of money at a side grade.

Guarnera, the C who was playing RG for them this year, is the better player of the two. He was one of the best guards in the BIG this year as a true SO and would potentially be the first elite center we've had since.. fucking hell since maybe the Mack Brown era? Am I forgetting someone? Majors was good last year but far from great. When was the last time we had an actually All-Conference caliber center? Maybe I am blanking out and forgetting someone but it feels like a decade plus.

Baker will get killed at guard unless he gets stronger in the weight room

Where is this Baker to Guard stuff coming from?

He's been extremely clear that he only wants to be a tackle. It's a huge reason he came to Texas. He's never taken a snap anywhere other than RT since he's been on campus as far as I know.

Stop wishcasting stupid moves. If Baker gets moved to OG he likely enters the portal.
