100% this. I was about to post the same thing. We have the talent to do so.

Do we? CJ & Wisner don’t look particularly explosive. I’d say our RB room is pretty average.

I agree. Once you have experience and take away that excuse, what’s left?

Agree. He seriously has to get his shit together before we head to the Swamp. I'm nervous. My trust fall for Arch is beginning to wane.

Shit is concerning.

1. We aren’t running the ball well.

2. Our QB is a fucking mess.

3. Team is dumb as shit.

4. D-line is a sieve.

5. Too many holes in the secondary.

6. Punt returner is a pussy.

All this against vaunted SJSU.

1. Averaging 4.9 a carry, not

bad.

2. Playing like it’s his first season as “the man”?

3. Yes

4. Just inconsistent

5. Definitely are today

6. I hope he’s not the best option as the season progresses

Most of this is probably because they are playing SJSU. They are not locked in.

Because he was finally able to hit the guys striding wide open? He’s accuracy and decision making are dogshit right now. Maybe he gets better but his stats mean nothing against this team. We’re winning the turnover battle 4-0 through 2 quarters and only have 28 points against a bad team.

Dude, his WRs have had MULTIPLE drops on balls hitting them in the hands..

Do you want him to throw AND catch the ball Or something?

Hes not perfect, but he IS a RS Sophmore making his 5 or so start

Yeah, hate to say it but I’d take Moss and Owens from aggy over our guys.

I also think Sark should keep him in to slow down the game for Arch. Have him work on speeding up his release.

We haven't seen Wisner today, but Baxter is averaging over 5 ypc today, and over 4 ypc against fOSU. He's a true 3 down back. He has everything you want  in a RB. His blocking is phenomenonal, his hands are great, and he's put on incredible muscle and can bully his way to 3-4 yards per touch. This is just all my opinion, obviously, other than the stats I posted.

The biggest problems I see with this team is the fucking penalties and the PR team.

I think our PR team is great. They tricked America into thinking Arch was a Heisman favorite

I think both are true. Baxter can be a workhorse in this offense. However, it appears that we do not have any home run hitters.

Agreed. But what we want Sark to do may not be what he's actually doing. I'm not sure what Sark and Milwee are doing. It's maddening whatever it is. Square peg, round hole. Stubbornness.

And the ball at Wingo's feet.

That was the one where Arch was making a face like he was getting shot in the shoulder while throwing.

If we are going to add to a list of questions or concerns I would add:

1. No passes to the RB's

2. Lots of line calls being missed. The INT play was a complete screwup presnap

3. We may be rotating a bit too much on D early (but this has been a normal complaint against PK)

4. DB's are playing well but are incosistent. LBs are having some issues with coverage

There's some sloppiness for sure, but there are also a lot of chicken littles in this thread.

If it wasn’t for penalties, we could be up at least 38 to 7

But if not for the 4 takeaways and 4 touchdowns, we'd be LOSING because WE SUCK and NOTHING GOOD WILL EVER HAPPEN FOR US AGAIN.

Well, I will agree on the home run hitters, but we haven't seen what Clark or Simon can do. We know Gibson isn't a fast back, and Wisner is a good back, but he's far below Baxter talent-wise. Maybe we'll get to see what Clark and Simon can do in the second half.

But he doesn't belong in the conversation with Burt, like wtf is your point including him?

Point was flashes of immense talent as freshmen, followed by a period of disappointment. It’s not that deep.

Mike Davis is like a top 5 all time receiver at Texas statistically. Bad take.

Mike Davis was fucking awesome. Love that guy. To me, he's a top WR at Texas. Also, him fucking over LSU made him a legend in my mind.
