I’d prefer to think of VY and Ricky in the same backfield.

VY is the easy part. I think I would go Bijan, if I could pick any RB.

Careful. I got yelled at by a blue hair at the cotton bowl because I said that Colt was made of glass.

was it because that was a moronic statement?

Congrats on beating the dawgs in their house.

Thanks.  That’s three “dreaded” blackout Bama wins in a row.  The horns will win there, too, later on in the season.  UGA fans are insufferable, just like the office dweeb woofing at his boss lady in the commercial.

It's always fun to make fun of uga fans and their barking on all fours. THWg!

Why Bijan over Ricky?

Bijan’s ability to make people miss and his ability to catch out of the backfield.

hey that’s great.

ricky was better.

Bijan and Earl have legitimate claims to being the best players in all of the NFL during some of their seasons (ok, Bijan is more of a this year thing right now). Ricky was really fricking good, but I don't think he was ever quite there. Ricky also had a much better offensive line in college than Bijan.  Doesn't really matter since you can't go wrong with any of them.

If we had Colt now, we would be far and away the favorite to win it all.

I mean I know NIL is making things weird but I don’t think having 10+!year NFL veteran will ever be allowed for college football.

Yes? I'm not sure you appreciate how absolutely bonkers Bijan is.

ricky barely cared about playing in the NFL and ran for over 10,000 yards, including over 1,800 one season and over 1,100 when he was 32 years old, while spending multiple seasons sitting out of the league to get high.  he ran for nearly 4,500 yards from 2001-2003 before abruptly retiring.  he dominated the running back position without even really caring about it.

bijan has a lot of talent and has made some pretty sweet cuts on film.

Ricky had 3 straight 1700 scrimmage yard seasons including a 2200 yard season.

Jamaal Charles as a pro was also just as good as either of them.

And Priest Holmes had a better prime than both Ricky and Jamaal.

They were all really good. Priest Holmes is interesting because while he was really good, he also just had an advantageous offense. Jamaal Charles, like Bijan right now, had the misfortunate of being an amazing player on a mediocre team.

And Jamaal had an idiot of a head coach who thought it was a good idea to have him splitting carries with the ghost of Larry Johnson and then Thomas Jones to begin his career.

As much as I love Bijan, I would pick Ricky over him. Bijan is great at getting tough yardage but he doesn't appear to have the second, third or fifth gear like Ricky did.
