Bijan and Earl have legitimate claims to being the best players in all of the NFL during some of their seasons (ok, Bijan is more of a this year thing right now). Ricky was really fricking good, but I don't think he was ever quite there. Ricky also had a much better offensive line in college than Bijan. Doesn't really matter since you can't go wrong with any of them. Edited October 2, 2025Oct 2 by Dahobbs

I'm not sure you appreciate how absolutely bonkers Bijan is. ricky barely cared about playing in the NFL and ran for over 10,000 yards, including over 1,800 one season and over 1,100 when he was 32 years old, while spending multiple seasons sitting out of the league to get high. he ran for nearly 4,500 yards from 2001-2003 before abruptly retiring. he dominated the running back position without even really caring about it. bijan has a lot of talent and has made some pretty sweet cuts on film.

Jamaal Charles as a pro was also just as good as either of them. And Priest Holmes had a better prime than both Ricky and Jamaal.

Jamaal Charles, like Bijan right now, had the misfortunate of being an amazing player on a mediocre team.

October 2, 2025Oct 2 Popular Post I’ve seen Leaks, Earl, Ricky, Cedric, Jamaal, Priest, and Bijan all play live many many times. They are all awesome. However, Earl and Ricky are without a doubt the greatest running backs to ever put on the Texas uniform. They were both incredible. Of course I can’t talk to pre-1970.

QB/Oline/WR are worse than last year. RBs are injured. Going to be playing in a wet environment against a top 10 defense that's battle tested against Miami, LSU and USF. I just don't think we score that much in a game that needs the Oline to play really well.

October 3, 2025Oct 3 Just did a bit of a deep dive into the forecast for Saturday afternoon in Gainesville. Thunderstorms are definitely a concern, but they should be somewhat scattered and moving through. So while there's a chance for a lightning delay, I doubt it would last hours. And although it may rain some during the game, it is very unlikely to be raining for a majority of the game. Things may start to clear out some toward evening. Regarding winds, the overall setup between two pressure systems favors strong winds. But some of the latest high resolution models are indicating more modest winds of 10-15 mph. So who knows. In summary, fuck ou.
