Wonder if CP3 would entertain going back to the Rockets and if they would want him of course.   They have major need for a PG.   I know he cant play 30 mins/gm anymore but giving them some stability at the position for 20 mins a night could help give them some direction.

Houston and Minny would be the obvious landing spots for him I think.

If Giannis ends up on the Lakers or OKC I'm going to blow a gasket. Can he please stay in the fucking east?  We don't need every superstar in the game playing in the west.

You know it’s gonna happen.

Houston, OKC and Utah are the only teams I can think of that have the haul to get it done. But doubt OKC and HOU want to part with segun and Chet while Utah isn’t in the market for a soon to be 31 YO superstar

Throw SA in that tier too, if they want to part with Castle or Dylan Harper, my basketball crush.

Would have to be Harper. Castle doesn’t have that kind of value not opposite Wemby.

Harper is a piece they could build around.

Y'all both need to shut the fuck up about trading Harper. Please and thank you.

uh oh

Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo crumpled to the ground with a noncontact injury about three minutes into the first quarter of Wednesday night's game against the Detroit Pistons at Fiserv Forum.

He was ruled out for the rest of the game before the end of the first quarter with a right calf strain, the Bucks said.

I'm not sure how the Lakers trade for Giannis if LeBron isn't in the deal. Which isn't going to happen.

I'm not sure why Houston or SA would want him. Unless the Spurs can get off KJ and Vassell - maybe Sochan - and throw in some picks and that's enough. Trading Harper or Castle is a non-starter.

Frankly I'm not sure why OKC would want him.

Miami would be an interesting one I think. Maybe Detroit?

I watched the second half of the Spurs/Magic game with my Spurs friend last night, and it was entertaining. Luke Kornet saved the game from going to OT with an awesome swat at the last second, and then his whole team mobbed him. It was a great moment, and you love to see this kind of reaction from guys.

26 free throws in a game is nuts. Wait, that’s…THAT’S @Aqua Buddha’s MUSIC!

Steve Austin Celebration GIF

Honestly, I know we give the dude a ton of shit, but he’s about to enter an era of awesomeness the likes of which will never be seen again in NBA fandom. Enjoy the ride, man. Also, fuck the Thunder.

OKC doesn’t make that move.  The pieces they’d want (Jalen and Chet) are almost 10 years younger.

Had they lost in the playoffs to Denver last year, that might be a different story.

I thought DET should be where he was looking over the summer when the heads were coming with the same old MIA/big market talk.   Trade anyone but Cade and Duren and get it done.  It would be tough to trade Ausar as long as it isnt both Ausar and Ivey, I'm with it

The warriors are BAD without steph. Like, incredibly inept on both sides of the floor.

I think you misspelled "Pat Spencer is the greatest basketball player of all time."

Good one the Lakers are in.  Lead changed like 5 times in the last 5 mins.  No Luka

Rui with the 3 at the buzzer!!

LBJ breaks his streak of double digit scoring

Honestly, massive respect for LBJ making the right play. If Rui makes it they win, if me misses they go to OT.  Part of what made Bron so unique is that he’s probably less selfish with the ball than any other dominant player ever. I can’t think of a better way for the streak to end and I can’t imagine anyone will ever break this record.

Yeah, this is Chris Paul’s fault. I mean, imagine wanting to hold teammates and coaches accountable.

Can’t believe I’m defending Chris Paul. What have I become?

Yeah, kind of poetic that the streak was broken by him dishing for the game winner.

i’ve just found it wild that lebron’s 10-point streak wasn’t a story at all until the game before the streak ended. for all of these years it’s hardly ever been mentioned, then two games ago the streak makes headlines, and then the very next game it’s over. and on a lebron game-winning assist as the final play. wild

Step away from the computer..... WTF.  Guys, time to open your safe rooms or bunkers.  Something is going down.  Kerm, I know CP3 was okay for the Spurs, but remember how much you loathe him?

Latest Spurs rumors.  This tracks...... Miami may be the choice for ole Giannis.  The West may be more than he can bare....
