I saw a lot of worse throws than that one. It coulda been a foot shorter, but then again, it didn't get intercepted - and it was a TD

This might say it perfectly.

Good guys win!!  Arch did not look good heading out on the field for that last series. Shaking his head like clearing out some cobwebs. Also, thought that hit by that second defender should have been reviewed for possible targeting? Just sayin...

Was absolutely targeting.

I bought 106 shares on prediction marker for like .06 because why not we could come back (I think it was 38-28). The win isn’t amazing but it’s a nice $100 bonus too

75% of the time, that throw would have not been caught inbounds.  Sorry, but no.  Let's not pretend it was great

Endzone fades are one of the lowest percentage throws.  They are all barely catchable by design.  We used to practice them by putting one of those plastic barrel trashcans just out of bounds..  If you make it in, without knocking it over that's about as perfect as it can be.

The position of both says it should have been a fade

This cannot be stated enough. It's like the lights clicked on in the 4th quarter and they just refused to tap out.

Don't get me wrong, I'm still mega pissed because of the ineptitude and that it took until the 4th to catch up to a Mississippi State team that has transfers from FCS teams all over, and Sarkisian didn't want another UF debacle because I have a feeling CDC and amd BMD's would pound him in the ass verbally. I'm sure they still will., but I'll take the win and still hate how the season is going.

I mean I had the game on my phone behind the lead wall while X-raying a patient (we short staffed out here)  at one point today which I thought was excessive

It should have been closer to the corner than the sideline.  He barely had the chance to get the foot down.  It was not a great throw

Agreed, it was a terrible play call but maybe Caldwell is really good at those and coming in cold I can see calling a play that he loves to run in practice.

Throw was an A- to A, don't forget it's low percentage but the most important thing is putting it where it can't possibly be intercepted. Catch was an A++ obviously.

Our team is like old lady underwear. Sure it looks like ass but the elastic still works when faced with shitty situations.

And their bras do the heavy lifting ... I'll see myself out now 😀

He read the defense pre snap and knew he had 1 on 1 in the corner, and put it where only Mosley could catch it. Has Arch ever done any of those things on the same play?

So we're going to bag on Caldwell for throwing a TD pass?

Bold strategy there, Cotton.

No shit. The guy has had how many snaps? Throws?

Comes in stone cold twice and has been money both times.

Surly stupid is as surly stupid does.

Listening to the post-game wrap up with Craig Way….several players said they’d be glad to get home…..they were so tired of hearing the Boos…

Hope they don’t read Surly.

These guys deserve a raucous DKR homecoming after a month on the road. We should absolutely be underdogs against Vandy, but these Horns fight to the end and should have a home crowd that does the same.

Summary: Ever see a game where it looked like the team put their heads together and said "We're gonna have to do this ourselves. Fuck the coaches..."? Looks like they found something on both sides of the ball in that fourth quarter. Unlikely win if ever there was one. We haven't seen many comebacks that were better, although it seems we had a good one in California a few years back...

Manning's second concussion (at least). He won't be back next week. I think we take down #10 Vanderbilt in Austin. I think both the offense and the defense pick up where they left off in the fourth.

Lebby really is a stupid game day coach. He's done a damn good job to get some decent talent there, and to get them playing hard, but he made so many bad judgement calls in that game.

I can't believe he kept forcing the inside run against a defensive front no one runs inside against. Especially in short yardage. Especially when the secondary was giving up a ton of easy throws to the flats and middle of field.

We don't have a chance to win if Lebby was a competent game day coach. That's going to be his downfall as a HC

Good. Fuck that POS rape enabler

Sark just said it was a game plan / RZ design the qb could call on the RPO with press coverage in the RZ. So Caldwell saw the coverage called it and Mosley picked it up ran it and TD.

See when you spread teams out more they are further away from the LOS which makes it much tougher to blitz. But who am I? Just a guy who stayed at Hliday In Express.
