This 100%.   The Austin loss was a beatdown but we outplayed them in the Championship game and should have won but somehow most seem to have forgotten that.

We only lost in the CCG because we knocked Beck out and had not prepared to play the backup. That’s it.

Not to mention missing a few field goals

I'm afraid that it won't matter if we do stop the run.  Frankly, I kind of expect the theme to be that we stop the run, get them in 3rd and long but still get torched through the air.  As the game goes on I expect them to default to the passing game until we prove we can stop it, which we have not been able to do consistently since OU.

That would be out of Georgia's element.  They run to set up numbers for screen passes.  Don't dropback a whole lot, I think they are last in the SEC in air-yards.

No, you Tennessee Orange and Burnt Orange Are The Same Thing Blind twat.

Pretty sure that prison orange is a third thing, if you wanna go that way. So is hi-viz orange. Pretty sure that end zone pylons are an entirely different shade of orange, too, closer to hi-viz. What about the orange that Syracuse and Clemson wear?

I mean, we can do this all day, if you really want to bury the joke so deep in minutiae that there's nothing left.

Agree with their analysis.

In order to win we need either run game or Arch and WRs go off.

If our game plan is to try to out athlete and create missed tackles similar Vandy gameplan, then it won't work vs Georgia's better athletes and tacklers.

How much 12 personnel does Sark trot out? I don’t necessarily have a problem with it, until he puts them on the end of the OL and then moves the rest of the team within a couple of yards of the ball. It’s not like they can block anyway. I bet they’d be good blocking out wide though.

First play is gonna be a double pass the more I think about it.

If Sark trot's out a two TE alignment to start the game, I'm going hiking.  Don't care where.

I look forward to watching Spencer Shannon trying to cut block the UGA edge rusher

You might even run into a fellow Surly poster.

Just make sure to wear waterproof clothing. And, uh, watch your drink; okay?

The same could be said for Vanderbilt and that didn’t stop them.

That 4 week stretch away from home sucked (I think I saw longest stretch between home games in the country) but at least the well timed bye week helped us get healthy.

Texas has everyone healthy for the game

All hands on deck, to bad some of those on deck are really bad left guards. Lets hope their very best performance makes an appearance. Georgia bad pressure ranking needs to continue.

Arch is gonna need to use his legs.
And he’s gonna need to slide.

He needs to be diving head first. That damn sliding gets guys fucked up. He just needs to do it long before anyone gets near enough to take a cheap shot. Because they’ll be coming.

I made a similar comment earlier today with some friends, but instead of hiking I said we should burn it down.

Mix in some zone read and hb draws and punish their rush.

this goes 2 ways. Huge key for the Texas secondary will be to tackle well. Georgia throws a ton behind the LOS. Tackling was pretty poor vs Vandy. They tackle like that vs Georgia; the Bulldogs will put up 30.

When was the last time Sark won a game he shouldn’t have?

This would be the first time.

He doesn't exactly get a lot of opportunities.

Depends on the book and when you placed your bet, I suppose.

I would use the closing line for this argument but fair enough.

Sark has at least 3 wins on top of the Bama one where Texas was ranked lower: '22 K St, '25 OU, '25 Vandy

Like I said he hasn't gotten a ton of opportunities. I think winning the games you're favored to win is like 90% of the job at Texas.

Vegas had OU, sharps had us, dunno how public went.  It's at least a game we weren't the clear favorites in.

Vanderbilt was actually another one that split as Vegas and sharps had us, but the public money went on Vanderbilt.

I don't know where you're coming up with that. Line closed at -2.5 Texas at multiple books.

Regardless, Sark should never lose to that dick-eating monkey as long as they are coaching against each other.

Not all books had us favored at close.
