2019 Texas Football Season - "#8 Go Fuck Yourself Bitch"

I was just browsing on Seatgeek to see what ticket prices look like for this game and they're outrageous.   Almost nothing lower level under $500.   I'm not really looking for myself. I have 4 seats.  I'm just wondering, are these serious prices?  Or will the market price be half this much on gameday.     I invited some out of town friends who are still on the fence about making the trip and after seeing that I can sell their seats for almost $1k a piece, allegedly, I'm thinking screw those guys. I'm selling.

It will come down some. Once season tickets get distributed, there will be more up for sale from season ticket holders. Still more when season ticket holders that get to buy extra sell those. There will be some as the game approaches from people who learn they can't attend on short notice. That said, assuming neither team lays a massive egg in Week 1, it will still be very expensive. Probably not as expensive as it is now, but pricey.

WOOOOO JAMISON GONNA MAKE THOSE PICKS LOOK LIKE EASY PUNT RETURNS LETS GO

No clue why he was playing WR in the first place.

It will be interesting to see how things shake out with Green, Cook, and Jamison. All three will be difficult to keep off the field. From what I've read, it seems like Cook and Green are the more polished technicians while Jamison is an all-around great football player who best fits at corner.

Although I thought Kris Boyd played decent, it seemed like he got picked on and beat quite a bit last year. It's gonna be nice to just switch guys around and see if a different guy works better for whatever matchup problems they may be having. Hope all 3 guys play a lot and just rotate who is playing the hottest.

We also have good depth at the safeties and jokers. Great problem to have in the big 12.

If the only position battles this summer are going to be listed as "Player 1 OR Player 2" then your stupid ass article isn't a projection, it's a rehash of what we've heard all summer.

I think he was #1 in passes defended in at least the Big12 last year.  I think he had one of the toughest jobs in all of college football.

Yes I agree, it looked like Boyd was getting picked on just because there's so many good WR in the big12.

Maybe having two different guys cover isn't even really a competition, it's a collaboration. They can discuss what he's doing and any pre snap things they are seeing.

Some problems I have with that list:

1. Jacoby Jones will be the 2nd DE behind Roach

2. T'Vondre Sweat will be ahead of Chisholm and Christmas-Giles

3. Marques Caldwell will  be ahead of Kenyatta Watson (he will surprise a lot of people)

He was out for his whole senior season with a labrum tear. Let's let him remember how to play football, eh?
