But to be fair look at the train wreck he was running against.  Thanks democrats, and Mr. Obama.....  "The most qualified presidential candidate in the history of the country".  PARTY UBER ALLES.................

Mrs. Warrens platform is a very compelling one to me, and one all Americans should be supporting regardless of party or political stripe.  she doesn't have a chance in hell of getting any of it to a congressional committee for study. Like Congress is gonna bite the hand that feeds it.

Have you even tried the "native american crab tacos" that she plagiarized for Pow Wow Chow Cookbook? They're to die for.

How does one plagiarize a recipe for food?

Here is my recipe for WhatTheBuck Mustard BBQ Sauce:

1 cup apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup Yellow mustard
1/4 cup onion finely minced
2 cloves garlic pureed
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon Tabasco sauce

Sue me.

She’s a woman and an old unattractive one at that, of course she has no chance. Duh.

I don't find her unattractive. I'm not hanging her poster on my wall but if I was her age and my wife looked like that then I'd be happy. I also think smart is sexy so she's got that going for her too.

Not angry just pointing out the hypocrisy of “X doesn’t have a snowball’s chance in hell because reasons.”

Trump was said to have no shot and you give ZERO analysis of why Warren has no chance.

Just typical mouth breather nonsense.

Troph nailed it.

Cynically speaking, America is a bunch of misogynists who won't vote for a woman who has progressive/outlandish reforms from the general status quo. Native American ridicule from everyone except this board, a select group of media and some college campuses should have told ya (IMO).

But, like you said, nobody saw Trump doing his Trump thing either and he had a snowballs chance in hell we all thought. So you are saying Warren has to be the Trump of 2020. Could happen, just as it did in 2016, but I think the odds are so stacked as to be termed a snowball's chance of being formed in a very hot biblical place.

Now ask yourself, was all that exposition necessary? Wasn't the subtext enough in my "mouth breathing nonsense" for you to ascertain the "analysis"?

We elected a Kenyan Muslim communist black named Hussein and the despised Hillary Clinton got 2% more votes than Trump in 2016.

So pardon me when I say your analysis is kinda ignorant of history.

I voted for that man, fwiw, in 2008 as a wide-eyed and poor young man. Those were the days, anti-Archie.

Yeah, she's actually pretty good looking for 69.  Easily top 10% for that age group.  However, I don't think the Dems should nominate another old person for President, male or female.  I mean, she is 2 years past full retirement. She'd be getting "encouraged" to retire in the private sector already.  Why we keep putting people that age in the most stressful job in the world is beyond me.  I also don't even know why they'd want the job other than to get their name in the history books.  Enjoy time with your family instead.

Anyone checked Warren's ancestory.com tree to see if she is related to the Trump bomber?

"He also told co-workers that he was an American Indian from the Seminole tribe, that he lived on the reservation, and that he had done work for the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla."

It appears that he's claimed to be Native American, so No, there's zero chance that they are related.

Dems need to stick with what works: someone a little younger and mega-charismatic. It could definitely be a woman.

No, the last thing the democrats need is an inspiring youthful leader pleasing to the eyes that galvanizes motivation among the electorate.

The most frustrating thing about this is people see politics as only a dog and pony show.

The importance of Elizabeth Warren’s run is NOT about HER becoming president. It’s about her IDEAS getting MAINSTREAMED into the electorate and not just among democrats, her platform is an actual PLAN to solve problems Trump campaigned on fixing (Draining the swamp, jobs, helping the working class).

Even if she doesn’t get the nomination, hopefully she can make enough NOISE so people listen to her IDEAS.  If enough people listen to her, other candidates will rip off her good ideas and make them their own.

The funny thing is her platform isn’t really partisan.  She could run her same policy ideas as a Republican and no one would call her an ideological extremist.

The democrats would

The republicans would too because she’s a change agent, which they are currently doing.

The republican, democrat, and corporate powers already label her a fringe voice because her ideas threaten the entire corrupt system they’ve built to maintain power and influence.

You want to know why she is considered polarizing and the silly Pocahontas shit sticks? Because it’s been beaten to death into our minds by the forces threatened by her ideas.

Teddy Roosevelt had the same problem with the Republican Party in his day.  The corporate class that ran the Republican party rejected him.  He had to go at it alone with the Bull Moose Party.

“As a member of the Republican Party, Roosevelt had served as President from 1901 to 1909, becoming increasingly progressive in the later years of his presidency. In the 1908 presidential election, Roosevelt helped ensure that he would be succeeded by Secretary of War Taft. After Taft took office, he hewed closer to the conservative wing of the party and this and other actions alienated Roosevelt from his former friend. Progressive Republican leader Robert La Follette had already announced a challenge to Taft for the 1912 Republican nomination, but many of his supporters shifted to Roosevelt after the former President decided to seek a third presidential term, which was permissible under the Constitution prior to the ratification of the Twenty-second Amendment. At the 1912 Republican National Convention, Taft narrowly defeated Roosevelt for the party's presidential nomination. After the convention, Roosevelt, Frank Munsey, George Walbridge Perkins and other progressive Republicans established the Progressive Party and nominated a ticket of Roosevelt and Hiram Johnson of California at the 1912 Progressive National Convention. The new party attracted several Republican officeholders, although nearly all of them remained loyal to the Republican Party.”

You do know I was just trolling on that. It was an easy shot.  I get what she's saying, and like what I hear. She doesn't stand a chance in hell of getting any traction from the democrat leadership.

Her stance is precisely why a third party would be a balance between the two wack jobs we have now.  Not gonna happen though. Too much money, power and establishment in place.

BTW:  Theodore was the man !  Course he's also potentially respsonsible for helping to sow the seeds of an Imperial Japan.

Yeah I knew you were just trolling but it highlighted an important point that the powers that be on both sides will vilify her.

You say she doesn’t stand a chance of getting any traction with the Democratic leadership which is probably true. However, did Trump stand a chance with the GOP leadership when he started campaigning?

Trump exploited a huge weakness in the GOP and took it over because his messaging resonated so well with voters, the GOP elites had to capitulate in the end.  The same thing can happen with the democrats because they are equally (if not more) weak at the top.

Bernie tried it and almost pulled if off but there were too many red flags with Bernie, the big one being he wasn’t a real democrat.

Don’t count Elizabeth Warren out just because you think it can’t be done.  It can be done and Trump is the best roadmap of how to do it.

I can think Person A is unqualified for his job and that he should resign.

But I can also think that Person B firing Person A in order to circumvent the law to orchestrate a cover up of crimes is a worse situation than Person A being unqualified.

Just because I think Person A is bad doesn’t preclude me from thinking Person B is even worse even if that means tolerating Person A.

It’s not a zero sum game.

Don’t bring nuance, critical thinking, or context to meme fight. Mouth breathers will eat up whatever their spoon fed as long as it fits the narrative.

I just searched twitter for the meme maninblack posted and it’s pretty much viral among the idiot class.  Just goes to show how terrified the powers that be are terrified of Elizabeth Warren.

I like the cut of her jib with those kinds of comments, but that's a dead woman walking right there though.......  I'll settle for getting power back to the state level and taking money out of DC.
