  1. Past hour
  2. What was the sniper's price for being killed? I don't know that anyone who can operate a rifle could be convinced that he will have a chance to fire a round in the direction of Poopy Bottom and not be killed or captured by the SS or the cops. I recommend a movie called the Paralax View with Warren Beatty for how they frame a person for this sort of thing. It's actually a solid film.
  3. Looks like they started filming a Powder remake?
  4. I think the obvious answers are that was Dave the body double, and of course no one was worried about a dead body. The plan was to shoot Dave up a little more, then roll out "intact" Dotard 3 days later as the second coming. Terrible shooter fucked it up, and they improvised. SS wasn't concerned over Dave getting killed, just nailing their roles.
  5. I was just thinking how mild the summer has been here too. We’ve only hit 100 a dozen or so days.
  6. The title is self explanatory. I don't know shit about fuck when it comes to cruises so any tips, discount codes, strategies, etc. would be greatly appreciated. Glenn
  7. Will you have the same for the away games?
  8. Only a few episodes in on Platonic but have to say, this would have worked better if they never showed any scenes related to the platonic relationship. Just Seth Rogan telling his friends about the relationship. No issues with Rose Byne but her character is just poorly developed. Maybe it will get better. They latched on to a real issue (the mom who falls off the partner track) but just not realistic as presented. The show just comes to a halt when it's just the two main characters.
  9. Good post, but grievances aren't values.
  10. Yeah, even the hardest of hardasses would at least chuckle at Daly.
  11. Even if you think it's a bad movie how could you not laugh at Daly or Scottie?
  12. 24 oz of lao gan ma at 99 ranch is like $10. And you're not supporting David Chang's sue happy bullshit.
  13. I'm a little disinclined to criticize GM's for relatively low dollar contracts that don't work out, but the inability of the Orioles to get a real stud out of all those high draft picks is surprisingly bad. They've been a Baseball America darling for years and haven't done anything to build on 2023. Luhnow would have consolidated some of those prospects into major league pitchers.
  14. Dems also need to take a page from the recent GOP guidebook: No one criticizes the nominee, no one criticizes the party, and once in office, no one criticizes the president. Argue for your stance. Criticize proxies when needed. Criticize (carefully) policies while treating it as a given the nominee/party/president will come around. But never, ever, ever go on tv or the internet and let voters think there light be a reason not to vote for the nominee.
  15. Yeah, fuzz has to be the most variable by far. I generally chalk it up to the circuits being so simple and unfiltered. You can spend the rest of your life going being between different fuzzes and they will all be so damn unique. I am totally with you in the Strat bridge pickup, I never use it except for Gilmour stuff, and he managed it because he had these full tilt dark wooly fuzz faces and Muffs. The combo goes together like peas and carrots. I still have to add a touch of 1.5k on an EQ to get it right I find. I currently have an Analogman Sunface, which is a Fuzz Face, with the BC109 chip, to mimic the Dark Side era Fuzz Face. But just typing this it's wild to think how much variation there is in these, same circuit but different chip is wildly different. I also have a Sunlion with a Tonebender 1.5 circuit, which is very Fuzz Face like. I have always considered Muffs their own thing. I have an original Black Russian I've owned since it was new. I actually just got it because I didn't know any better back then, I was just trying to buy a distortion pedal lol. They fetch decent money these days actually. I got the Ram's Head reissue not super long ago, and that was a 100% Gilmour thing.
  16. 350 degrees is about 4-5 on a 1-10 stove top dial. i don’t know why yall are arguing these are just facts. It’s like I’m criticizing your favorite personal lubricant or something. Olive oil is great for you so is avocado oil. olive oil a tad better but probably negligible. Smoke point matters for how great the oil is for you when consumed (so is mfg techniques). Olive oil is more delicate when used in cooking and avocado oil is more versatile because of their relative smoke points. Olive oil taste better or more accurately has a more distinctive taste and is great for cooking as long as you pay attention to the smoke points. These are facts. They aren’t disputable. cook with olive oil at low heat and medium heat no problem. Up the dial and it degrades. Again just facts. We banned gender affirming care. If I can’t have my estrogen you can get fucked on TRT.
  17. If I didn’t have spoiled ass dogs, I’d just order a 2 meat plate at Pit Room. Moist brisket, jalapeño sausage + pinto beans, green beans, and get out of there for $25.
  18. They come with a side of ivermectin dipping sauce.
  19. he wears them to swim, as we saw recently (and I don't care to find the pic). he's probably a never-nude
  20. I was referencing that the whole party has adopted "all sizzle no steak" as a strategy and implying that Gavin is part of that faction of the party. One way of looking at modern politics is this: Both Parties have access to cheat codes that are extremely popular with all voters, but assure the destruction of an entrenched, powerful interests that are embedded with the parties. Both Parties campaign heavily about using one (or more) cheat code, but when they are in a position to use one, they don't ever do it. For Republicans, a full disclosure of the Details of the Epstein Case has broad bipartisan support, but now that Republicans are in power, they refuse to do it. For Democrats, an economic policy of Taxing Billionaires has broad bipartisan support, but when Democrats are in power, they refuse to do it. That's because both parties are compromised by powerful interests. Even if some (or most) of the working class doesn't "know" that, or have any information to support a belief that it's true, they "feel" like the system is rigged against them. Government is rigged against them. The Job Market is rigged against them. The Housing Market is rigged against them. Healthcare is rigged against them. That's a common value held by people in the working class, regardless of their political leanings. Trump was the only candidate who acknowledged their grievances, and was rewarded for that. Any Democrat who runs interference for billionaires, or consultants, or the status quo, they are part of the problem. Everyone needs to get with the program. Zohran Mamdani is shouting the blueprint at you.
  21. Democratic party has not had the benefit of non-obstruction Guardians of Pedophiles much and when they did, it was a razor thin margin for a short term. Heck the GQP stole a SC seat from Obama. Context matters.
